Dr. Khalid Mahmood Chaudhry

I have been a patient of Dr Mahmood for a number of years and I have always found him very knowledgeable, concerned and respectful. He listened thoroughly to my problems and suggested numerous ways to find the sources and handle them. I left off one star because I was put on a medication that, although effective, left me with a unsettling side effect. However, when I spoke to Dr Mahmood about this, he switched me over to a different medication that worked fine with no such difficulties. I would recommend him to others with no hesitation.

Dr. Mahmood didn't ask any questions about my history with migraines and mansplained my own condition to me. He was more concerned about me losing weight than treating my migraines. When the medication he put me on continued to not work, all he did was increase the dose and did not consider other treatment options. He never discussed possible side effects or drug interactions with the medication he prescribed. He would openly discuss my treatment plan in the open office with his staff, instead of in the exam room. He is condescending and does not listen to his patients.

I saw this neurologist a couple of years ago. He insulted me, told my husband I was just an irrational female, ignored positive blood tests results, & dismissed my symptoms. I found a new neurologist who was shocked at the lack of care I received. My new neuro ran tests and I was diagnosed with an autoimmune neuromuscular disease. I now receive great care from my new neuro that diagnosed me but Dr. Mahmood was so dismissive that I almost gave up trying to get the proper care my body needed. I do not recommend seeing this Dr. and if he has been dismissive towards you, BEWARE- get a second opinion from a new neurologist. My disease had gotten so bad and I am so grateful for my new neurologist who cares, took the time to truly diagnose my disease by listening then running the right tests, and treats me properly. Dr. Mahmood should not be trusted to have a medical license for the risk of him dismissing so many patients actually struggling with a medical illness. Do not see this Dr.!

Don't even consider going to Dr. Mahmood. He put me on Aptiom which was over $1000 a month WITH insurance and wouldn't listen to me when I told him how awful it made me feel and that it was not helping at all. He would only up the dose and insist that no one else had felt that way on the medication. Honestly, he probably gets kickbacks from the drug company for keeping people on that medication. He was also super inappropriate with touching and the staff was rude. I never felt comfortable enough to go by myself. Overall, an awful experience and a waste of time and money to see him.

Well, let’s just say. Don’t come in in a wheel chair. I guess ADA compliance doesn’t matter in his world.

I have never felt so disregarded and disrespected by a medical professional in my entire life. After explaining to the receptionist what I had been experiencing for the last few days, he barged into the room and not missing a beat, stated "It's not that serious, calm down." Never talked to me, never performed any tests. Only assumed that I was an irrational female unable to control my emotions. I have never felt so small in my entire life. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone, for any reason

Staff was rude and inconsiderate and so was the doctor.

The doc was just rude and did not care and the staff was just mean to me and to my fiancé and they r not willto work with us

I waited for three days to get a response or even get the office to answer the phone. The phone message at the Bowling Green office said our hour are 8-5. I was calling in the late morning. Yet no one answered. The message should have said that I could call the Toledo office, which, apparently was open. They didn't receive the faxed referral because it went to the wrong office. After three days of frustration, I made an appointment with another neurologist.
