Tried calling Dr. Sieja about some issues I was having. Said my name and he paused and told me not to call him again. Didn't even get to the part about asking for help and booking an appointment. Very unprofessional and have the call recorded on my work number.

I came with abdominal pain that’s been persistent for the last two much he ran a bunch of test and did a biopsy he included me in every step of my care very kind and compassionate he listens to you I highly recommend Dr Sieja I

What I really liked about my visit with Dr. Sieja was that he quietly sat, took notes and listened to me describe everything about my GI problems. My experience with the Colorado Gastroenterology office was great from start to finish. Dr. Kevin Sieja is a very experienced doctor, and his ability to connect with a patient is outstanding. After several thorough check-ups and the review of the test results, he prescribed medications, and has taken great care of my health since. The staff is helpful and professional. The staff here was polite and efficient. Only waited a few moments to see Dr. Seija. He spent time and addressed my issues and gave what I felt was very good advice. He ordered lab work and sent a prescription to my pharmacy. Went very well

I can't really speak about the doctors, because getting an appointment here was so incredibly frustrating, I asked for a new referral to any other gastro office - even Wolf at this point who doesn't know what a hernia is. I started going here to see Dr. Seija after a terrible experience with a gastro telling me a very bad hernia was normal. One reason I even made the appointment is I needed a form filled out proving I was disabled (Crohn's). Not only was the form completed, not only did I watch the doctor sign it, all they needed to do was fax it with official letterhead to a local number I provided them. Because they could not do that - I almost lost my job. I was able to appeal and get the form filled out by a BETTER doctor. Something about how they felt this wasn't their job, even though they agreed to do it and I have had gastro's fill out this form no problem in the past. Also, same visit? Never got the script they were going "call in" to my pharmacy either. Called and asked about that, they said they would call it in. Never did a second time. So I stopped going here. Recently, my wonderful doctor referred me to a different doctor in the same office as it's been a few years and I should get scoped. As soon as I recognized the number I groaned... Not these people again! And did they live up to their past reputation? More so! For two months I have been trying to see Dr. Frank. First, I was told they wanted to make sure they took my new insurance and would call me back. Never did. I called in again, they make an appointment with the wrong doctor even though I specified the name several times, I guess they figured I wouldn't notice? So I called back, had that cancelled and was told I needed a form completed between the two doctors in order to switch to Dr. Frank, they would handle that and call me back. They never called me back. So I called my doctor to ask for a new referral, already done with this. My doctor's office called Dr. Frank's office and was told that I was lying! All I had to do was call and ask for Frank and they would make an appointment! Pshhh, super easy! That annoyed me as I know a nurse is going to trust another nurse before a patient... But fine. I called again today... Was told AGAIN that I couldn't see Frank without a form completed... Why hadn't this been done yet? So I am asking my doctor for another referral. The office staff here is undependable, irresponsible, and unprofessional and I would avoid the doctors as a good office staff is as valuable as a good doctor. (Edit: a good office staff is usually a good indication of a good doctor too - butt heads tend to hire other butt heads, so I would guess the doctors are a lot like the staff - undependable, irresponsible, and unprofessional.) Had negative experiences here from scheduling to the actual doctor visit. The doctor was cold and had a bad attitude. When he asked me my symptoms he then spent more time with snarky remarks on how "I'm wrong" and don't say "heartburn" as it's used incorrectly. It felt like he wanted to spend the office visit proving he is a good doctor and reprimanding me for trying to research online. He also made fun of the ENT doctor I had seen before him and eluded to them not being real doctors. I didn't want to do the procedure wth this doctor but they wouldn't accommodate or allow me to ask for another doctor. Finally I went to the Lakewood center and had an amazing experience there. When I called back to cancel the procedure here I kept receiving notices that I was still scheduled. I called the scheduling number and also called the facility to cancel multiple times. I was told I would have cancelling fees if I didn't cancel (which I had) and then I had the office call back and be accusatory and very unprofessional lecturing me on the phone while trying to cancel. the filthiest office I have ever seen in my life. I didn't think this was even legal. not one chair in the waiting room is clean. every one stained with who knows what. the patient rooms are something out of a 70's ghetto hospital. torn beds the patient sits on. foam jutting out of the tears. didn't even see a sharps container anywhere. we left and rushed to scrub our hands in the hottest water we could handle. just gross. beyond gross. I was shocked this even happens now. if you go wear a hazmat suit. the filthiest office I have ever seen in my life.
