Thank you Dr. Salvino! I've sufferered years of Plantar fasciitis and during a recent visit to you I started Shock Wave, and got quick relief from just 2 procedures. I went back for longer term healing with a stem cell injection in both heels. I'm hopeful after just one week from the injection that I'm experiencing full relief for the first time in many years! Thank you again.

They just want to make money. Nasty staff-asked me to wait outside in 90+ degree weather (The doctor wasn't nasty). They billed my insurance company for x-rays which were never taken (I brought my x-rays when I went to him). When they told me that I owe them the co-insurance for x-rays, I reported it to United Medicare plan administrator. Few weeks after, I got a letter from United Medicare that he is no longer in their network.

I went into the office a day after I injured my foot working out. He told me it was a ruptured plantar fascia and did an X-ray of it. He told me it would take 4-6 weeks to heal. I was on week 6 and something seemed fishy. I went to hinsdale orthopedics, that doctor then x-rayed my foot, and told me he believed there may have been a break in my heel. He recommended I get an mri just to make sure, because he didn’t see my X-ray from the very beginning. The mri results came in, and my new doctor has now told me my heel is broken and has been broken, and hasn’t been properly cared for. I now need to cast it for 6 weeks. If I would’ve know it was broken, and I had it casted it when I went into to doctor salvinos office, I would’ve been healed by now; (but he didn’t tell me it was broken). So now I have not been able to walk for 6 weeks, and I will still be unable to walk for another 6 weeks, but I now need a cast. Thanks for nothing Dr. Salvinos office!!

Dr. Salvino is kind, caring, and a great podiatrist!!! I’ve been going to him for years. The entire staff is warm and welcoming. They make you feel like family.

I highly recommend Dr. Salvino for any foot problems. Been going to him for many years for plantar warts, ingrown toenails, & fungus on my toenails. Once I had a large blood blister on my leg when I went in about my ingrown toenails. Dr. Salvino immediately took care of it too. After lancing it, he used stem cells to help it heal. He uses the new methods for treatment.

Dr. Kevin J. Salvino is a kind podiatrist. He helps me when I need my toenails and callouses trimmed. He is very competent and gentle. I really appreciate what a good job he does! I also like how he is quick. I don't like people touching my feet but he is so quick it doesn't matter so much. Thank you Dr. Salvino!

i've had plantar fasciitis for about 4 years, really painful to the point that i was limping all the time. i tried steroid injection which wore off and custom inserts for my shoes and all the other less evasive treatments, which didn't really help. I then found out about the shock therapy and stem cell injections, but most dr.'s want to charge thousands for it. Dr. Salvino charges 100.00 a treatment and the insurance covered the stem cell shot. had 3 shock therapy treatments and 1 stem cell shot. It's been about 1 month since last treatment and my foot feels great no pain i can walk normal again. I'm glad i tried this before i got the surgery. would highly recommend dr. Salvion and this treatment to anyone with plantar fasciitis.

Suffered with a foot problem for years and, within a very short period of treatment time, Dr. Salvino resolved it. I continue to see Dr. Salvino on a regular appointment basis. I am extremely pleased with his care and his office’s professionalism. I recommend him unreservedly.

After putting up with severe pain in my heel, I finally paid a visit yo Dr. Salvino and was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. A combination of different treatments got me back on my “feet” and back to normal. Put your faith in the doctor and you will be happy you did.

I injured a tendon in my left foot on Mother's Day weekend and thought I could treat it myself with Aleve, ice and elevation...I crawled into the office just before Halloween and since then, I have had 5 cortisone shots and a stem cell shot, in addition to various pieces of "hardware" (boot, therabands etc) to keep it stabilized...it's amazing how much better I feel and I'm kicking myself for waiting so long!

Dr. Salvino is a miracle worker. I had severe Achilles tendinitis for NINE MONTHS with no sign of improvement, even after seeing 3 different doctors. My heel felt at least 50% after the very first visit and 99% better after the 3rd visit in as many weeks. As a competitive runner, I HIGHLY recommend him as this injury significantly impacted my quality of life. I am so incredibly happy with his services.

Dr Salvino cured my toenail fungus on 3 toes. I had tried OTC medication for 10 years, I'm sorry to say, and nothing worked. I even had laser applied about 18 months before I went to Dr. Salvino. Again, nothing worked. Then I went to Dr. Salvino and within ~8+ months of laser, external and internal medication my fungus is gone! As I said to Dr Salvino on our last visit, "You're the only one who has cured this problem!" Thanks for a great job. Much appreciated.

Dr. Salvino is very personable and was very precise in explaining the sever al issues that I have faced: infected ingrown nail, callous and plantar fasciitis. His empathy alleviates anxieties in dealing with procedures, and I do give him 5 stars for medical care, and for his genuine concern for all of his patients.

I've known Dr. Salvino personally and professionally for 30 years. Over the years whenever I have had any issues with my feet, the only Dr. I would ever recommend is Dr Kevin. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and is always willing to fit you into his schedule. He and his staff are courteous and friendly and the entire team has a sense of urgency that you look for when seeking any kind of Doctor. Five stars doesn't seem quite enough.

Very happy with Dr. Salvino and the entire staff. I had foot surgery and everything went smooth from scheduling appts to the actual surgery and recovery time.

I went to see Dr. Salvino for severe pain in my heel (plantar fasciitis). Dr. Salvino explained all of my options so that I could understand. I received a stem cell injection in my heel and did the agitator therapy and within less then 2 days the pain was gone! I went back for a follow up appointment 2 weeks later (and still no pain) and had the agitator therapy again. Dr. Salvino was very professional and personal and had a great "bedside manner"

Dr. Salvino treated me for plantar fasciitis using shockwave therapy, and after two treatments my pain was completely gone and has not come back in the two months since treatment. I am absolutely amazed at how quickly and successfully he treated me, after other caregivers had been unable to resolve my pain. I am so grateful and would recommend him to anyone suffering from plantar fasciitis.

High quality service & care by an exemplary physician.

I had a bunion surgically removed on one foot by an orthopedic surgeon in 1983. A few years later an X-Ray showed it hadn’t been done correctly. In 2017, the other foot needed to be done, on both sides. I was hesitant, but Dr. Salvino explained everything that he would do to remove the bunions and correct alignment of my big toe. Long process, weeks in a boot or gym shoes, but turned out great. Women have said to me “If I can wear shoes like that I’m doing it!” I’ve recommended him many times.

I've been suffering from plantar fasciitis since October, with a rupture in December. It just wouldn't heal, and I could barely walk 4,000 steps a day, let alone spin or do yoga. Dr. Salvino was recommended by another friend. My first appointment was the end of May. I had two EPAT treatments, and got custom inserts. Today, I am at 95%. I can easily spin, am walking 8,000 - 13,000 steps a day without pain, and moving back to more advanced yoga poses.

Went in for a toe nail discoloration issue. Dr. Salvino gave a quick poor assessment (lasted 5 mins), to which he just sanded it down and said just wait 3 months. The rude staff sold me an $80 nail fungus bottle. 5 months later with consistent use of the toe nail gel, my toe still looks the same. Would not recommend this doctor!

I consulted Dr. Salvino late last fall regarding my bilateral hammertoes. I felt that Dr. Salvino performed a thorough exam and explained a plan of care. He was obviously very knowledgeable and answered every question that I had. Since that first appointment, Dr. Salvino has performed surgery on both of my feet for my hammertoe condition. I must say that I am very satisfied with the outcome of the surgery, the knowledgeable care by Dr. Salvino, and his courteous staff. I am a Registered Nurse.

I first began my care with Dr. Salvino on 3/15/18 when I came in with a ruptured Achilles. Right off the bat, he sent me for an MRI, and within a couple of days, I was set for surgery. Dr. Salvino and his team worked with me to make sure everything was taken care of in a timely manner to prepare for my surgery. Everything went smoothly, and I have been seeing Dr. Salvino weekly in my recovery. I always get all my questions answered, and am very pleased with my recovery under his care!

I have known Dr Salvino since 1983 and observed him the office and operating room settings,as well as during residency. I cannot recommend his clinical expertise,compassion,and patient care more highly. We have assisted each other in treating patients, both as assistants in the operating room, as well as ongoing care in private practice,and I do not hesitate to refer my patients to him for care in my absence.or second opinions. If lower extremity/foot problems arise,please consider Dr Salvino !

I went to see Dr. Salvino in January of 2018 with sever heel pain on my left heel. He diagnosed my pain as plantar fasciitis. He suggested a shock wave treatment that we started that day. The relief was almost immediate. He has me doing some exercises on my foot daily that help very much. After two shock wave treatments and my daily exercises I’m almost back to 100%. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Salvino to any family or friends.

The staff is outstanding, caring, and sensitive to your medical situation. The office is a friendly environment. Dr. Salvino listens to what your are experiencing, checks the foot/feet thoroughly, and explains options for correcting or alleviating the medical concern. Very professional. There is xray equipment on site. I've had surgeries involving hammertoe and ingrown toenails. Some procedures can be done in the office without scheduling another appointment

I came to Dr. Salvino because of a broken toe that wasn't healing properly. His treatment and therapy helped heal the multiple fractures with no complications..

I came to Dr. Salvino because of a terrible case of plantar fasciitis that I had been in treatment for for over a year. Physical therapy and a cortisone shot had not helped. His therapy worked wonderfully. I am pain free and thankful.

Dr. Salvino is a very good doctor who has treated me for the past few years. My post procedure experience, however, was horrible. Colleen is very aggressive with collections, and sends even minimal balances due to collection agencies. She is a disservice to Dr. Salvino's reputation and a blemish on his practice.
