After almost 20 years of back pain I am living a normal life again and able to enjoy going out with friends and family. I can play with my grandchildren and enjoy teaching water aerobics. Last year my back took another turn for the worst and I had to stop teaching and could barely get through the day even with medication. I could no longer play with my grandchildren or even pick them up. I did not know what to do and went to two different doctors who both stated surgery was not an option for me. They both suggested pain management. I had done this in the past with no relief and it only masked the pain for a short period of time. I did not know where to turn. Thanks to my daughter in law and some research we found Dr. Pauza. The Discseel procedure has been a God send. I am just over 60 days post procedure and getting better daily. No back pain and my body is adjusting. I am back to teaching water aerobics. Dr. Pauza, Amy, Brittany, Carrie and staff were great. I was able to return to work the Monday following my procedure. I have taken a slow return to teaching water aerobics but have been able to my job as the aquatics director and managing the facility. Thank you Dr. Pauza and staff for all you did.

I am 1 month after Dr. Pauza's proceedure. Today, I worked while on my feet for 8 or 9 hours straight, and other than a little tightness, I had NO lower back pain! First time ever in 15 years! I had discs T-12 through S-1 done in the proceedure. In the past, I would have shooting pains in my low back and butt after about 5 or 6 hours, sometimes feeling like my low back was going to give out and quit supporting me. Today, nothing! I attribute the tightness to the fact that I'm older (58) and I believe that pretty much anybody would have muscle tightness after standing for that long. I would like to thank Dr. Pauza and his staff, Brittany and Becky for their immediate care and responses to every question I had about this process. They are consummate professionals! Money very well spent! So worth it!

Dr Kevin Pauza was great and so was the staff. Without getting nto much details, i can tell you from first hand experience, he cares for his patients.

Had my procedure done in my lumbar area, it has been 2 1/2 months and have received tremendous improvement. Most days I feel 100%. After procedure I had increased pressure for about 7 to 10 days. The pain was manageable and I was able to work. The procedure itself was not painful. I referred my mother for her Servic area and it’s been one month and she feels 100% better. I certainly recommend this procedure if you have torn disc. Thank you Dr. Pauza and staff for what y’all do sincerely. 11/29/22 Well, to my big surprise all the pain has come back and possibly a little worse. It’s extremely disappointing because of the high hopes I had for this procedure. I did my best to follow the after procedures to the T. I believe this procedure does work it just didn’t work for me unfortunately. Well as he said it takes up to 12 months for this to work. It has been 7 months now and I have been pain free for now for months. I strongly believe this procedure works. Thank you Dr for offering such life changing procedure.

Experience was great. I researched for 3 months before deciding to move forward. The results exceeded my expectations. My results may not be typical but with the combination of stretching and therapies I have been doing with the Discseel procedure I was able to essentially accomplish immediate pain relief.

Dr. Pauza and his staff are very friendly and take extra care to ensure you are comfortable and very well informed. They laid out the expectations very clear. I am a month out and feel some improvement, I’m certainly hoping for more, but they mentioned to give it at least 3 months. So for now I put 4 stars, that could push to 5. If you have back issues it’s absolutely worth having the consultation with Dr. Pauza. I have no regrets and just hoping to continue to see more improvement.

I had a wonderful experience all around. Dr. Pauza and his team are THE experts in this field and they are exceptional at explaining things so that they are easily understood, while all the while making you feel at complete ease.

December 1st Dr Pauza treated 4 of my vertebral discs with his Discseel procedure. My expectation was to relieve my serious sciatica and upper leg pain and my sciatica and upper leg pain is almost completely gone. After 18 months of no relief I am finally able to start enjoying the things that I like to do. The surgeons that hurt me in the first place wanted me to have another surgery with rods placed in my back. Discseel was the wise alternative.

Dr. Pauza and the whole team have been very helpful and attentive to me so far. I got the impression that they treat all of their patients with respect and make them feel at ease. I just had my discseel procedure done about five days ago and I’m very happy with their service and with the results!

Excellent , compassionate staff!

No leg pain at all, back pain decreasing daily. For the first time in months I feel like full recovery is possible. Very caring, responsive doctor and staff. I highly recommend Kevin Pauza and staff.

I am so impressed with Dr. Pauza, and his whole team!!! I had my cervical and lower back areas treated with Discseel about 10 days ago, and I have experienced incredible improvement so far--while the results are not even expected yet!!! Dr. Pauza has done a lot of the important research on what he stands behind. And he is a totally committed doctor to me having a life with reduced pain or no pain. He will tell you he is with you for life in whatever he can do for you. I was looking at laminectomy or fusion, told to me by other doctors recently (post disc replacement already). After dealing with 24/7 back, neck and sciatic pain for four years, researching all possible options for relief and resolution of this life-altering problem, I decided on Dr. Pauza’s Discseel procedure. Excellent Dr. and fantastic staff. He answered all my questions and never rushed me.

Dr. Pauza is a genius , prior doctors wanted to do an S1/L5 fusion on me coming through my belly. Researching that procedure I knew it would be horrible at 65. Dr Pauza was completely right, all the pain I was experiencing was from the torn discs. As soon as he finished the procedure I felt relief from pain in my legs. I could barely walk and sit prior to the procedure, now, almost four weeks after I have no pain at all anywhere! Slight stiffness when I get out of bed but it goes away as soon as I start walking. The Dr said it would take 3 months to a year to heal completely. If I had undergone fusion surgery after 3 weeks I would still be a mess. I am completely satisfied with Dr Pauza and his dedicated team, everyone is customer focused. We drove from Houston to Tyler to have the benefit of his experience. Had severe back pain for 3 years. 3 surgeons recommended spinal fusion. Saw Dr. Pauza for non surgical option. He injected 5 lumbar discs. Felt increased lower back pressure for 12 hours. No need for any pain meds or muscle relaxants. Pain free at 24 hours. Fingers crossed.

I would give 5 stars but for a couple of things. The pre-visit communication was garbled so with covid it was hard to make travel plans. The second thing is I was a little surprised nobody contacted me in the next few days after the procedure just to check on me. I had my discseel procedure done on Wednesday 8/25/2021 now a little more than a week out and I feel pretty good. Going into the procedure I was pretty worried about the pain as I had traveled from NH to Florida and my flight back was only 1 day away on Friday. Immediately after the procedure I was in a fair amount of pain but the nurses quickly gave me a shot of pain medication which helped. Anyone that has lived with back pain for years as I have has learned to live with and deal with the pain so this is nothing drastic. I took the pain meds for that night and the next day. On Thursday we went to the beach in Naples mostly just laying around and a little walking on the pier. Pain was very minimal actually wasn't really pain but more discomfort and nothing serious and so I decided to extend our vacation till the following Monday. On Friday we went to the zoo and did a lot of walking which I would normally have to sit down every so often which I did not find a need to do. Now it is way to early to say that everything worked as Dr. Pauza also gave me a steroid injection along with the fibrin to calm everything down. As for Dr. Pauza he was great, he took the time to listen to my story and to talk through the procedure, he also was nice enough to talk to my wife about issues she is having that are not back related and the use of PRP treatments and recommending a Doctor he had trained to do Discseel up here in the Boston area. The nurses at the surgery center were awesome they truly were caring and funny. I would 100% recommend Dr Pauza to anyone looking for pain management or the Discseel procedure. I don't want to leave out Rhonda she was also awesome and caring... UPDATE: 12/21/2021 4 months post procedure. Most pain has returned, I can say that I can still stand longer than I used to be able to and the pain is not as drastic but it has returned 80%. I had discseel done. It is a waste of money. I felt worse and am going to see a neurosurgeon at Duke spine institute. This whole invention is a joke. The anulogram should be done without being put asleep to figure out which disc is painful. Not all leaky discs are painful. The disc is hurting because there is put of the disc that is damaged and it needs to be removed for a disc to be sealed. Having suffered from chronic lower back pain for the previous 10 years, following an x-ray I was surprised to finally find out that the vertebra in the lumbar area of my back were “bone on bone”. The local team of specialists admitted me into the spine pain management clinic and recommended numbing injections, physical therapy and psychotherapy to “re-think“ and manage the pain for the rest of my life, all following a psychiatric evaluation. Fortunately a friend in biomedical research was familiar with the DiscSeel procedure and recommended it to me. Never one for “Band-Aids“, I acted on the opportunity as quickly as I could and chose to have the cervical area of my spine taken care of at the same time. My experience with Dr. Kevin Pauza, MD, and his team was above my expectations. My only regret was that time was too short for me to have a decent pre-op conversation with the doctor, but I was too excited to remember my questions for him. From pre-op to post-op, by my count, there were ten assistants to the doctor ranging from my liaison who handled paperwork, to the person who placed my IVs, the anesthesiologist and many nurses. The procedure went quickly as I had seven discs sealed and filled, and by the time I got up from the table to get dressed the back pain was erased. Since that time, thirty-six days later, I have only had two short episodes of pain that lasted maybe three minutes tops- I'm not worried about this as I was advised that it could take up to a year for everything to heal. I am very grateful that the complete numbness that had settled into my back over the past two years is now gone- that only took two weeks to resolve. My sleep is greatly improved and I am gaining energy on a daily basis as I relearn to walk and use muscles long past dormant. Pleasant staff. Procedure well explained, and went as described. One week later I am in substantially less pain than prior to procedure. Anxious to see how a repeat MRI in a few months compares to the one done prior to the procedure.

Well Dr pauza is thriving in his business after I have read these Google reports. I only want to make it clear that not only did any of his treatments ever help me but he prescribed to me a hundred micrograms of fentanyl and 12 Norco a day. Followed by changing it to for 80 mg oxycontin a day as well as the 12 10 mg Norco a day. Now from his own admission he was not the one prescribing this medication. But it was his nurse who filled out triplicate scripts which he himself signed. They were filled at the qvl pharmacy that used to be in Tyler which is the only pharmacy that had the fentanyl and the oxycontin at the time. I have had little success in finding the proof sqvl says they have destroyed their records and pausing himself will not send me my file. Be warned he is after money I can't say for sure that he doesn't truly want to help people but for a man who used to own Island not sure that he still does never helped my pain only infuriated and started an addiction that has taken 20 years of my life. He tried all the injections even the experimental stuff back when it was still going through trials. All the tens of thousands of dollars that this cost. And the 20 years of my life suffering as an addict. There will be a reckoning as a Christian I believe that. Discseel procedure on April 1st. Immediately stopped the progression of lower back pain 2 fusions L4-L5 L5-S1 with bulging discs above. I am only 5 weeks out. I am healing and waiting to get better and better as time goes. 3 to 6 months most patients feel change. Some at 10 to 12 months.

I hi estly have nothing but good things to say. Dr pauza's pre d post off procedure. I feel so much better its amaizing. I was I. A wheel chair just over a month ago. Everything is back to normal god bless this man. He's a great doctor. Go see him you. Won't regret it.

I’m glad I did not opt for surgery and took this route. I have suffered from back pain for 12+ years, some days I could not put my pants, socks and shoes on. I would get MRIs every year, I did ablation, injections, therapy and medication with minimal relief and all short term. One Neurologist said it was muscle pain, another just prescribed medication a third had me come in for shots every few months. Multiple specialists and all trying to lead me to fusion. I’m a week post op and I’m seeing the signs this is working. I cannot wait to wake up pain free and not have to worry that in ten years I’ll need another surgery as is typically the case with fusion (I have two friends that have followed that path). Very professional, I really enjoyed how thorough and involved the entire staff is. Also love that they go to solve the problem at the source instead of cover the cause of the pain up like most pain management doctors. I will recommend Dr. Pauza and his procedure to everyone I know who struggles with lower back and nerve pain.

From my very first contact with his office was nothing short of fantastic. Amy was the absolute best patient liaison I have ever worked with. The day of the discseel procedure when Dr Pauza came to talk to my husband and I about what to expect he was not rushed and took the time to answer every question we had. When we were all set he wheeled my gurney out of pre-op to the procedure room. My experience was the best I have ever had. I am 10 days post procedure and my pain is almost completely gone. I have struggled with severe back pain for more than 20 years and never thought I would ever be pain free and this procedure is proving me wrong. Dr Pauza and his staff were excellent. I had three ruptured disks in my lower back. My leg pain had been very bad for the last 4 months. Could not sit at all. Had my procedure completed on 4-13 and everyday has been better than the previous. I am so happy to finally have relief and can have a normal day without spending all day on my pain. I still have some lingering leg pain, but not nearly as bad and getting better every day. My back pain seems to be gone or disappearing every day. Dr. Pauza assisted my Dr. at Spine Specialists. I had two selective epidurals and one other treatment. My Dr. was Anand Joshi. Dr. Paul Dreyfus was the third dr. All were very knowledgeable.
