Sometimes the wait can be timely.. but he takes the time to explain everything with you and I believe that factors into the waiting... He requests blood work when ever he sees something to be suspicious or a change in any way which I believe is good because the blood work tells everything.. I have been going to drown for a very long time but here lately you can't even get into see him if it is refills on medicine then you have no problem but if you are sick and are needing to see him it takes an act of Congress to get into his office all they tell you is to go to the hospital then if you're no better to call him back I've done been to the hospital twice on the 18th of January then back on the 22nd of January I've called them the following Monday at 7:30 a.m. I've tried all day long to get into his office to see him and still no response so I had to get a hold of another doctor to see me it is now the next day which was Tuesday still no response to get into my family doctor so what do you do on a situation like this they will not take my phone calls will not give me no appointment

He is the worst Dr.I have been too . I have been going to him for my pain for a while . All of a sudden he refused to fill my pain medication. He said I had too clean pee tests .Can't help it if I hurt so bad that when I can't sleep I take one .He said they should stay in my system for 14 days or longer not true .I have looked all over the internet and all said from 2 two 3 days .He also refused to let me see any Doctor in the office anymore even my own Doctor. I have been going to this office for over 40 years .He needs his license took .Don't go to this Dr. He thinks he is someone special he is not .He is a nut . Nurses where great but far as dr himself did not like him at all had a sarcastic im better than you attitude when he walk in just because your a doctor doesn't mean you are better than anyone all he wanted to do is argue with me an say im trying to give adult advice well im not a kid by far so if your into that kind of treatment then feel free to go there but if not don't waste your time. I will not recommend him at all an if you feel im harsh owell this is my take on his actions you don't talk down to people an bost about you been a doctor for 37 years an never heard of things that's not my fault. Do new research. But doesn't matter to me anymore I walked out an will find a respectful doctor not a close mind one. An that is willing to help treat my PTSD. Dr Keown is the best doctor I have ever seen and at 73 years of age and many severe problems - Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and having been hit broadside while waiting at a light by the LightHouse Trolley (and car totaled and knocked in the air across a turn lane and around 90 degrees) I can speak with some real experience of suffering. He is better than good. He is the smartest doctor I have ever seen and the absolute BEST!!! When I first began going it was a great office. Now the doctor does not care at all about me as a patient and calling his office staff inept is generous. I had blood tests and an ultrasound over a month ago that may signify cancer. I've called and visited multiple times each. I have heard from neither the doctor or any of his nurses regarding my care. But his visit numbers are up. If you want to be a number on a page so they can show they are seeing patients, but do not want any actual care, this is the place for you! This is only the last straw for me. There are many other instances over the past two years but I don't have the space remaining to describe the complete and total lack of care you will get here.

Do not recommend. Will be changing doctors this is not the 1st time I had to wait 1hr 1/2 would have been longer but I walked out had other appointments to go to. Also went to apple care and got in n out with in 30 to 40 minutes. So sick and tired of having to wait on the doctor's we pay to be seen. What nonsense waiting over an hr.

Had first visit with Dr Keown. Very caring and concerned with my problem. Wonderful bedside manner. Glad he is now my Primary Care Dr, for both myself and my wife.

He cares about his patience it’s like he is part of my family and Mrs Holly is the same . They take time and y’all with you it’s not a time schedule I love them both they have been a blessing to me and my family and the office staff is amazing

Dr. Koewn is a fantastic doctor and is willing to talk and really take time with you. I would highly recommend him!

He is a great dr,and he goes to different classes in the summer to stay updated for his patients he is one of the few doctors that will give you his cell number if you are real sick,and he has a caring heart.

One visit he seemed sincerely concerned and discussed a medical plan that included multiple referrals. Two weeks later he did not recall any test results (he ordered and previously discussed), any of my the special needs, or any part of the plan of care that he had recommended. Had his back to me during visit, looked at computer rather than face to face conversation. I felt rushed and frustrated. When I requested a transfer to another in-office provider he would not allow it. MadeMeCry

This doctor is rude in so many ways. I was humiliated in front of my children by this doctor. He treated me as if I was trash and didn't want me to come back. It was my first time there. I left in tears. NOBODY should be treated like this. Its horrible. I will never go back to this doctor EVER again.

Dr. Dr. Keown lacks beside manner. He is cold and devoid of human compassion and empathy. I went to him for awhile, mostly because I was able to see his wonderful nurse practitioner Tandy Smith for most minor issues, but I refuse to go to him any longer.
