As soon as I arrive at the office, I was greeted by the reception. A few minutes later I was seen by Dr. Holcomb. As usual, he was professional, courteous and informative. He took his time to go over all reports and advise me of next steps for the best health result. He listened to my concerns and addressed them with empathy while instrumenting a regimen of possible solutions.

Dr Holcomb is a fine surgeon and medical doctor. He’s kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. I’m always grateful that he takes his time to both listen and to explain. My family and I have felt blessed to have his insight and expertise from the very beginning and for these last nearly 3 years. Dr. Holcomb imbues hope and confidence to 4th stage patients like me and to our concerned loved ones. He’s the best of the best.

Dr.. Holcomb is a busy physician, but is clearly invested in each patient. I appreciated his taking a bit of time with me, making a human connection, while doing an amazingly efficient job.

I've been a patient of Dr. Holcomg for almost 10 years. He's an excellent Dr. He's kind, caring, and compassionate. I am Brca 2 positive, Dr. Holcomb did my oophorectomy about 7 years ago. I see him every 6 months for follow-ups since I have the mutated gene. His research and knowledge regarding the gene are incredible.

Dr. Holcomb was clear and direct on my options. The procedure went fast and easy. His manner was professional and not intimidating.

Dr. Holcomb is a thoughtful and thorough physician. He explains in detail and he is very kind. He saved my life!

Initial consult for condition which the doctor. He wisely decided that MRI was needed to better understand situation. This proved to be critical as initial imaging did not accurately depict what is actually there.

I was a nervous wreck with my dx. Did not know where to turn. Dr. Holcomb was fantastic, kind , intelligent , empathetic. Complete , thorough, exam , explained everything. I was finally relaxed because i knew i was in excellent hands.

My experience with Dr Holcomb was wonderful. He is knowledgeable, caring and makes certain to answer questions, explain procedures and what to expect following surgery in great detail.

I have been a patient of Dr. Holcomb for the last 12+ years. There aren’t enough words to describe how fantastic of a physician he is! He is a consummate professional, has a bedside manner that is tough to match, and is compassionate beyond measure. If there is a silver lining to my cancer journey, it is having Dr. Holcomb as one of my physicians. Simply the best!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Kevin Holcomb to my friends and family. He is an incredible surgeon, highly skillful and up-to-date with the latest technological advances. I don't have any visible scarf from a recent hysterectomy and was on a long (very slow, of course) walk the day after surgery. Also, being actively involved in research, he keeps abreast of the latest findings reported in the academic literature and uses them to inform his treatment decisions. He is also very personable, open-minded and willing to take into consideration the patient's personal priorities. I consider myself extremely fortunate to be in the care of Dr Holcomb.

For the first time in three years a doctor took the time to explained my diagnosis and he had a plan of care for in place on my first visit. From his office, I was referred to the appropriate team members to help me participate in my care.

Dr. Holcomb helped me feel much calmer about my medical issues. I felt as if I was speaking to someone who cared about my health, even though we have only met twice. He was honest with me about my options and kind when he responded to questions I asked. His office was very helpful when I needed a sonogram before my appointment. Instead of rescheduling, the woman I spoke to worked to find a place for me to go right before my appointment. Recommended.

Needing an oncologist is one of the worst experiences of our lives. A good, caring competent doctor is the key to getting through the nightmare and treatment of cancer.
