We saw Kevin Grant multiples times through my second son's first year of life and in my fifteen years as a parent and many many different pediatricians in hospital systems, I've never engaged with such a kind, rational and humble and helpful doctor as Dr. Grant. Doctor Grant is one of a kind. A true breath of fresh air in the pediatrician world. We will not take our children to anyone else. My 10 month old was running a high fever a few days ago and he answered the phone and said he would be over in just a few hours to check on our baby. Yes, he came to our home!! Finding a doctor that not only does house calls but will also go out of their way to ensure all of your questions and concerns are answered is just so comforting to a parent. He even personally called and texted me when we were struggling with nursing issues to ensure everything was improving. Doctor Grant makes you feel truly cared for and not just a number like other health care workers. So glad we found him and I will continue to recommend him to anyone with children. I was referred to Dr. Grant when looking for a pediatrician for my son because of my sister. She has taken my niece to him since she was born. I was so extremely happy with Dr. Grant and his knowledge of several topics I am unable to write about in this review. Dr. Grant is a blessing and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor that listens and really cares about your kids! He's one of the best doctors around, we've been going to Dr. Grant for about 7 years for my children. Every single visit is/was a good one!! His nurse is super nice, and so is he. Dr. Grant was my pediatrician throughout my entire childhood. I loved going to his office as a kid and I think that says a lot. As soon as I had a my son I knew Dr. Grant was the only doctor I wanted him to see. Not only is he genuinely kind and caring he will listen to your concerns. His receptionist Lynn is the sweetest woman ever since I was a kid there. Jo may not be the most pleasant person but nothing I can’t tolerate. I feel that business reviews should include both positive and negative comments. Honest reviews can protect the public from unscrupulous business practices and simultaneously encourage businesses to exemplify honesty and integrity. I was significantly involved with Dr. Kevin Grant MD (the owner of a business legally called “Folsom Lake Pediatric”) for many of the past 11 years. On numerous occasions he provided me with medical examination/knowledge, etc. We assisted each other over the years in many areas medically and otherwise. I was also associated with his entire (working) staff for most of the past 11 to 15 years! You will need to go to Facebook and do a search to see my review as he was apparently able to have the hidden/frightening truth/facts removed from my initial Google review. In Facebook do a search for "Folsom Lake Pediatrics". My review posted there tells the hidden side of this person/business that you just might want to review before trusting him to care for your children. Very helpful and understanding. Worked with my schedule and answered all my questions. Was referred to the office and will refer people there. My 12 year old even seemed to enjoy the appointment!!!

I have been looking for a good doctor for a long time, and I am so glad I found Dr. Grant. He is so good with my timid kids, and creates a comfortable atmosphere. Most importantly he respects my decisions a parent, and really cares!

Jo answered the phone and she was very short and rude. I asked if she accepted the insurance I currently have and she said no, not at all and hung up on me. Not the friendly service I was expecting...

I want to start off by saying, I truly believe Dr. Grant is a genuinely caring doctor. Okay, now, the reason for 2 stars.... first , his office staff and the way the office in general bills, is archaic and needs to be updated... everything is still on paper like hand filled out. They billed me, when they need to working thru our insurance which is a PPO open access plan. The staff are not organized, and make errors when it comes to booking appointments and also when billing for the doctors services. My last critique, the office is very dusty and “old”... the kids toys need to be cleaned... it looked as though it had been years since a thorough cleaning had been done in that office. Our family really enjoys Dr. Grant! He’s a very kind Doctor and takes the time to listen to all of our concerns. His staff is very responsive and friendly.

We switched from another pediatrician to Dr.Grant... one of the best decisions we made for our son Austin. Dr.Grant is so sweet and kind and never rushes us out of our appointment. He takes the time to answer our questions and concerns. Dr.Grant even gives his patients his cell phone for emergencies and often works on Saturdays. I can’t tell you how much we love this doctor and how much our son loves him! We also love the staff, so I strongly disagree with the other reviews made about the staff.
