Saw Dr. Freedman and his team this morning and from the moment we arrived we felt comfortable and valued as patients. They were prompt and attentive. They were friendly. They patiently answered our questions, and they all came across as highly-skilled and caring. When you're going there after a significant injury or post-treatment, you want to feel like you're in good hands. I did.

Dr. Freedman is both top-flight Orthopedic Surgeon and a nice guy, who I would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kevin Freedman’s for 7 years! He has helped me navigate my orthopedic needs skillfully. He is client centered and has included me in all decisions regarding my care!! I can’t speak highly enough about him and all of the staff I have encountered in the Bryan Mar office!

Dr.Freedmen has been the most down to earth tell it like it is doctor. He Has done a great repair for me and kept me informed every step along the way. I could not be happier. Excellent care. Very personable

Dr. Freedman did such a great job repairing my ruptured right distal biceps tendon 2 years ago that I went back to him when I ruptured my left distal biceps tendon last spring! I do not recommend rupturing your biceps tendons, but if you do, Dr. Freedman is the doctor to see.

Dr. Freedman is the best! He is attentive and pleasant to speak with. His professional demeanor and listening skills puts me at ease to discuss how we can achieve the optimal treatment plan geared towards complete recovery from my pain. I highly recommend Dr. Freedman!

Worst surgeon that I ever had. Kevin Freedman ruined my acl/ meniscus surgery years back and has left me with zero feeling from my knee to my ankle. Find another surgeon. I have suffered for years because of a mistake he made.

Dr Freedman was my surgeon for a total knee replacement. I feel an amazing difference now. The first 3 months were a slow recovery with PT twice a week. Now 5 months from surgery and am so happy to have the arthritic pain gone!

Dr. Freedman and the staff at Rothman did an incredible job on my torn acl. I cannot imagine there could be any better experience, and the recovery has been very smooth so far. There are hardly any indications of a surgery at all, certainly a credit to the skill and precision of steady hands. I'm grateful to have been in their care.

Dr Freedman performed ACI surgery on me 5 years ago. It’s a rare surgery consisting of replacing old cartilage with new cartilage grown in a lab. My initial cartilage removal surgery, followed by my new cartilage replacement went very well. The healing from ACI was extensive, but expected. 5 years later I am getting preventative injections to aid in extending the success of this surgery. He listens, gives his advice, and lays out options with positives and negatives of each choice. I’m comfortable being in his care!

Dr Freedman has surgically repaired both my shoulders at different times. A torn rotator cuff and bicep tendon on the left, and the same, as well as a torn labrum and fractured socket on the right. I’d give him high marks across the board.

Dr Freedman is extremely informative and polite. He made me feel very comfortable in the whole process of my surgery. The whole staff there are very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend.

The office and medical staffs were very efficient. There was no waiting. Dr Freedman was very prepared to discuss my case and provide options. I feel very confident and comfortable with his treatments. I believe I am receiving excellent care, guidance and advice.

Please do yourself a favor and see this doctor. I’ve had issues with my knees ( pain and locking ) for 10 years due to the wear and tear of sports. I’ve been through multiple doctors, multiple xrays, multiple MRIs and every doctor wrote me off to physical therapy or that I’d “grow out of it”. Dr. Freedman diagnosed my issues within 10 minutes and he made me feel heard. He let me share my story and for the first time in 10 years I not only had actual answers to the problems I was having, but solutions as well. I am so grateful for this doctor and his amazing staff. I’m sure he didn’t realize it at the time, but this doctor has changed my life. Any issue, big or small he gives the same amount of attention and care. As soon as you step into the building you get this feeling right away from the atmosphere that you are in the absolute best hands. Dr. Freedman was great! The entire staff at Rothman was very helpful. I had an osteochondral allograft surgery on my knee and I am still recovering, but I can't say enough good things about Rothman and Dr. Kevin Freedman.

Dr Kevin Freedman MD repaired the massive tear in my rotator cuff. Excellent work by Dr Freedman. 3 months of physical therapy and I’m almost back to new! Just need to be careful for another 6 months. Thanks Dr. Freedman for all your hard work!

First of all, I was so happy to get an appointment so fast AND with the doctor I had requested to see. I had always heard nothing but fine things about Dr. Freedman. My appointment ran smooth from start to finish. Encountering various cogs on the staff, everyone was pleasant and competent. And, all were at the ready, extremely patient with any of my questions or concerns. There was little, if any, wait time ... and, this between check-in, x-rays, meeting and being examined by Dr. Freedman, being fitted with a brace and leaving. Dr. Freedman promptly put me at ease. He was extremely courteous and considerate with my questions and concerns. I've visited doctors in the past when I felt like I was nothing more than the next number akin to the ones pulled at a deli counter. With Dr. Freedman, I felt the exact opposite. Dr. Freedman made me feel as though he came in that day specifically to tend to my knee. That's, obviously, an exaggeration, but he truly makes you feel like you matter. I'm a 70 year old man who's had my share of medical surgeries throughout my life. Though few surgeries are 100% foolproof, Dr. Kevin Freedman has proven to me that he is "one of the few." Less than two months ago, Dr. Freedman performed surgery to repair my very painful rotator cuff tears, bicep tendon tear, and address the significant arthritis in and around my left shoulder and arm. Though full recovery is known to take between 4 and 6 months, here it is less than two months after Dr. Freedman's surgery and I've returned to throwing and catching a softball with my granddaughter. Please know I'm not foolishly pushing myself or rushing myself to full recovery. As a 70 year old, I'm wisely taking my time and following the prescribed physical therapy. But if you miss the old days of working around the house, playing sports with the kids, and using your arms and shoulders without any pain, call Dr. Freedman. You'll be glad you did. .

Dr Freedman is the best. He has operated on my husband twice...once a meniscus root repair(very tedious surgery) and then 5 years later a total knee repair. Both with excellent results And has done a meniscus repair on my knee. Would highly recommend him!

Called Rothman Ortho to make an appointment. I injured my hip, knee, and neck in a fall. Dr. Kevin Freedman was recommended by my Primary Care Physician. When I was finally connected to the appointment desk, I was asked to describe the body part that was injured. I replied by stating that I slipped and fell and injured my knee, hip, and neck. The person taking my information then said, and I quote, “yes, no, and no.” When I inquired what that meant, she said that Dr. Freedman will examine my knee, but not my hip, and he does not do necks or backs. She went onto state that he will only examine one body part per visit and not my neck at all since he does not do necks. I then stated that I injured my hip and knee in the same fall and asked if that meant he would only examine one body part and then send me home and I would have to return so he could examine my hip, and she said, “yes.” I went onto ask if as a physician who was seeing a patient with multiple injuries was Dr, Freedman really just going to look at only one part of my body and not examine any other parts even though I injured 3 parts of my body in the same fall and the injuries were all related, and she said, “yes; he only examines one body part per visit.” I then said, “never mind,” and hung up. I don’t know about anyone else who has gone to Rothman, but that may be the most ridiculous response I have ever heard from a physician’s office. How can a doctor ignore the multiple injuries of a patient and restrict the visit to one body part? Frankly, that would be medical malpractice.

Dr Freedman always takes the time to listen. He is a good doctor and he and his staff provide great care.

Dr. Freedman always listens to me, and has helped me with both my knee and shoulder over the past few years. I wouldn't go to anyone else!

Dr. Freedman fixed my rotator cuff tear. I couldn't be happier with my result! He is truly the best, and took great care of me the entire step of the way. He's the best, and I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Our experience with Dr. Freedman was not positive. I am sure he is very knowledgeable in his field, however, he has no bed side manner. He barely showed any interest in my husband's knee issues and literally spent LESS than 5 minutes with us. This was after we had to wait 50 mins for him to appear. I truly thought Rothman was better than this.....so disappointing. I would not recommend Dr. Freedman to anyone.

The PRP injections in my knee have been helping my bad knee. I alternate them with syncisc injections. They enable me to workout and be active, until my knee absolutely needs a replacement.

Dr. Freedman was thoughtful and complete in his examination and evaluation. This is two day after his treatment for extreme knee pain and I am symptom free. Thank you Dr. Freedman Herman

Dr. Freedman has a wonderful bedside manner. He explains everything clearly and makes you feel at ease.

Dr. Freedman's bedside manner is one of patience and expertise. He is the only Orthopaedic I trust treating me or my family. I have recommended him numerous times over the last 8 years, everyone who has ever gone to him for treatment has thanked me for the recommendation.

Dr. Freedman was direct and to the point. I like this in a doctor. At the same time he was gentle and explained clearly and in your English.

Last visit took over an hour waiting to see him, released me without concern to pain in shoulder, well...rotater cuff here, other broken area, plus more...omg! Get over yourself

I had to have my knee surgery redone by someone else. The bone graphs placed in my knee were too big. Massively too big (and unnecessary)- according to the surgeon who redid it. Also, zero bedside manner and there is always at least an hour wait- regardless of the appt time. Do not recommend.
