I recently had a breast reduction by Dr. Kevin Brenner. I wanted a reduction for several reasons; neck pain, upper back pain, skin rashes and aesthetically I wasn’t happy with the way my breasts looked. I’m the kind of person who does intense research before I do anything, so that meant asking for recommendations from my GP, my Gynecologist and my friends. I interviewed several doctors, looked at countless before and after photos and asked a ton of questions. When I met Dr. Brenner I felt immediately at ease and what I had heard over and over again is that if you want a procedure, go to the person who is known for doing that procedure, and Dr. Brenner is known for doing reductions, lifts, and explants (I have no doubt he is amazing at every procedure he does!) The surgery went great, recovery was not painful at all, and my scarring was minimal and four months post-op almost undetectable. Dr. Brenner is caring, smart and super personable, with an aesthetic eye for proportion. I am beyond happy with my results and the experience of being in such good hands.

I had a 2pm appointment I got there at 1:45 left at 2:45 after being sat alone in a room in front of a mirror for 45 minutes due to things ‘running late’ got a pretty pseudo nice vibe from them too. Heard good things but had a traumatic experience and i didn’t even speak to the doctor.

I couldn’t ask for a more attentive, supportive, and caring group of people. From the patient advocate Amanda, to the all the nurses, the front desk staff, Dani the surgery coordinator, Laurie the Anesthesiologist, and the talented surgeon Dr. Brenner everything was exceptional. I was so extremely sick when I came here. So sick I didn’t even realize how sick I was anymore, I just accepted that was how I would feel for the rest of my life. I write this with tears in my eyes truly because since having my implants removed only days ago 99% of my symptoms are gone. With so many skeptics I almost became one of them, but this team told me I wasn’t crazy and I would get better. And I have, I did, and I will continue to get my life back. Dr Brenner and his team provided conscious, empathetic, customized care based on my needs and complicated medical issues. Dr Brenner is an authentic human with great skill and diligence. He is an advocate for women and keeps the beauty industry accountable through his willingness to research, speak out and do things differently than the “old ways” of plastic surgery. Once you’ve encountered poor outcomes from cosmetic surgery, it becomes hard to trust yourself and even worse, trust the “experts”. Dr Brenner IS THE GUY. I highly recommend Dr. Kevin Brenner if you are looking for a surgeon with great bedside manner who is a perfectionist beyond belief. At the beginning of this year I realized that my Mentor Silicone Implants were the cause of 8 long years of illness that I had been dealing with, and I chose Dr. Brenner as my surgeon bc of the aesthetic results of his former explant clients (which can be seen on his website.) I called his office to get a consultation and was called back by Dani, who is very personable and completely put me at ease. Dani was able to schedule me a phone consultation with Dr. B (due to the fact that I live out of state), and then after that consultation was able to fit me in to their schedule for surgery on March 29th. My surgery took 7 hours (since it was enbloc and I also needed a lift) and went smoothly, and Dr. B’s team were wonderful from start to finish. And BONUS ~ due to Dr. B’s recommendation that I get the 36hr pain shot ~ I didn’t even need to take any of the pain meds that were prescribed to me for post surgery. My recovery was the easiest recovery that I’ve ever had, and 95% of my myriad of pain issues vanished overnight once I had those poisonous sacks removed from my body. Dr Brenner I credit with saving my life by explanting me in February 2019. I had worked in the industry at that point for 15 years not knowing that my breast implants were the root of my illness for over 7 of those years. My former boss kept telling me it couldn’t be my implants which sadly cost me 2.5 more years of health issues. Three surgeons I met with when I decided it was worth taking a chance to explant told me Breast Implant Illness didn’t exist and I’d need to realignment to avoid deformity. I had a deformity which was the reason for the implants. Dr Brenner was the only one who had my best interest at hand. He performed an explant/lift in Feb 2019. The implant on the left caused a depression in the tissue and my left breast was smaller but I was so happy with just that result- perfectionist!!!! He did fat transfer to correct the indent last August and I am so happy. I didn’t want to trade one problem for another so I was nervous for the lipo outcome. The most exciting part- he sculpted my legs in order to get the fat for the left breast so it was a super bonus I wasn’t expecting. The fat has lasted and you would never know I went from a deformity, two sets of implants, 7+ years of illness, explant, lift and fat transfer. He and his team are the A Team of Beverly Hills. I highly recommend Dr. Brenner -- he is amazing! I've been going to him for over 10 years -- from my Botox and cosmetic laser treatments to stitching up my daughter's eyebrow after a nasty fall (no scar!), he does such excellent work! He has a great bedside manner too -- a very calming nature!

I recently had an accident and required emergency reconstructive surgery to repair a portion of my lip that had been torn away. Dr. Brenner's office had just opened two days earlier after being closed during quarantine. Given this was an emergency, I had no prior consultation. But after seeing a photo of the injury, Danielle, Dr. Brenner's Surgical Coordinator assured me the Doctor would make the repair. Within two hours I was seen by Dr. Brenner. After an extensive consultation I was in surgery, and 50 minutes later, I could not believe what I saw. My only request was that I would be able to smile again. I never imagined I would walk out of the office looking like I did. I was stunned, in the very best way. The complications of operating during a pandemic were made seamless by Dr. Brenner's staff. Jihan coordinated my intake by email and could not have been more helpful and kind. When I arrived the process of checking in was handled with extreme caution and I felt very safe and well cared for. Dr. Brenner was also remarkably attentive and spent a good deal of time explaining the surgery and what needed to be done to repair my lip. He was calm and very reassuring though careful not to set my expectations too high. In my opinion, he was humble, because the results were nearly flawless! Despite 13 sutures, and the need to repair the muscle and remove additional tissue to realign my lip (creating a lip line where it had been torn away) Dr. Brenner meticulously reconstructed the area and I knew in time, it would be virtually undetectable. My recovery was incredible. Every day I saw improvement. And everything happened just as Dr. Brenner detailed. He covered how to care for and clean the area, how to manage swelling, pain, and my activity, what I could expect from scarring, how and exactly when to start massaging the area to reduce scar tissue, all to ensure the best results. And when I had a question after surgery, Jihan was only too happy to answer. When I thought a suture might be protruding, they had me come in for a look and took care of me right away (incidentally, it was nothing unusual and they even trimmed one of the sutures as it was healing.) I cannot get over the incredible care I received from Dr. Brenner and his team. And the results a month later are astounding. People cannot tell I had surgery and I still have a few sutures inside my lip. It feels great and will only improve over time. I have never had cosmetic surgery. And this was not how I imagined seeing a plastic surgeon for the first time. I can now say, without question, if and when I ever need or want anything done to enhance or repair my features, there is NO ONE else I would go to - Dr. Brenner is it for me. I cannot fully express how miraculous this repair was and how restorative the results are. I can smile! And I look just like me. No glaring scar or deformity. It's extraordinary. What Dr. Brenner did for me was a real blessing. I know that had I gone to the emergency room as I originally planned, and had one of the panel provider surgeons made the repair, I would not have enjoyed the same results that Dr. Brenner was able to achieve. WOW! WOW! WOW! If you are searching please seriously consider stopping right now. Dr. Brenner and his breast team are the BEST hands down. I initially found Dr. Brenner in an article commending his aesthetic eye and how he perfected the "natural" look. I live in NV and I was not pleased with the surgeons in my area. I had saline implants placed in 2012. About 2 years ago, I noticed the shape of my breasts changing and a painful pulling sensation in my armpit area. I didn't really know what I wanted expect that I wanted them taken out given the complications I was having. I found Dr. Brenner's website and filled out a consultation form early April. The next day or so, Dani (practice manager) called me and we discussed available dates for a consultation. We talked for about 30 minutes and she explained some of the items I could discuss with Dr. Brenner during my consult (i.e. explanation with fat transfer). Dani, is like my long-lost best gal friend. She really set the tone for what to expect in Dr. Brenner's practice. I had my consult on June 19, 2020 and I felt so safe coming into his office. Everything was COVID compliant, Dani and Dr. Brenner informed me of all the additional practices they were doing to assure my safety. I have NEVER met a physician who truly listens, explains, and cares more than Dr. Brenner and his team. The consult is usually an hour (which is already better than most plastic surgeons), but he took his time and allowed me to ask additional questions. All in all, I think we spoke close to 2 hours. He informed me that I had capsular contracture on both sides with the right being grade 4. I finally had an answer to the pain I was having. On July 9, 2020 I explanted and opted for a fat transfer from my lower back and abdomen area to restore volume. Since I live out of state, I had a few issues with my COVID results getting to Dr. Brenner's office in time, but his staff (Jihan, Lola, and Dani) worked tirelessly to find alternatives for me. The day before surgery Dr. Brenner and Dave (nurse anesthesiologist) called me to check in and discuss what to expect before the big day. These phone calls really alleviated any anxiety I had about the surgery. Fast-forward to surgery day and it was the easiest most painless process; I was greeted by Rosie the surgery nurse who is literally the epitome of an angel. The operating table was warmed special thanks to Rosie for arriving earlier than my 6:30AM arrival to start the warmers. I told Dave that the feeling of the sleepy medicine usually burns my hand and he was quick to assure me that he would make sure it was painless this time around (which it was!). As Dave and Dr. Brenner worked on my IV, Al (surgical tech) held my hand and Rosie rubbed my head which kept me really relaxed. Dave numbed my hand where the IV was going so I literally felt nothing. As a drifted to sleep, I was told I reached for Rosie's hand (I'm telling ya'll, she is a real-life angel). When I woke up, I had some slight pain in my back area, but nothing too serious. I've been under anesthesia several times for health-related reasons and I ALWAYS wake up crying, screaming, feeling like I can't keep my eyes open...nauseous. I told Dr. Brenner and Dave this beforehand and both smiled at me with a twinkle in their eye telling me that this would be different. I woke up and felt amazing, no crying, no screaming, nothing but CALMNESS. Rosie made sure that my husband understood the discharge orders and how to care for me for the next few days. Dave called me later that night to check on me. I felt amazing, I was tired, but comfortable. I was able to move around unassisted the next day after surgery with 0 pain. I had the best team of professionals caring for me. The entire recovery period I have felt minimal pain. Dr. Brenner is a plastic surgeon Michelangelo. My breasts look 1000x better than before. I was mauled by a dog several years ago, requiring extensive facial reconstruction & was fortunate to have met Dr. Brenner in the ER. Dr. Brenner has great bedside manner and makes you feel comfortable with what you're getting. I got so many compliments from my friends afterwards...some saying I looked up to 5 years younger. My husband had Mohs surgery on his upper lip leaving him with a dime size hole and Dr. Brenner was able to masterfully close the hole without leaving any signs of a scar. Dr. Brenner is a gifted plastic surgeon, who is a perfectionist.

My eight year old daughter had an abnormal mole on her back that needed to be removed. Dr. Brenner and his staff not only did an amazing job on the surgery, but helped my whole family, especially my daughter feel at ease in what could have been a scary situation. After consulting with several surgeons in the Los Angeles area and having worked in plastic surgery for 16 years, I knew Dr Brenner was my choice as soon as we met. I was contemplating an explant and lift and was hoping it would be the last cosmetic surgery I ever had. While the other surgeons tried to insist I replace my implants, Dr Brenner was the only one who listened to me when I said I didn't want to replace them- it just wasn't an option for me. Dr. Brenner is truly one of the most incredible, and talented surgeons out there! I’m so thankful a family friend referred me to him. Years ago he did my rhinoplasty procedure which completely boosted my confidence. My nose was always something that bothered me. The results were exactly what I dreamed of, soft and natural. I developed a pretty large umbilical hernia following two pregnancies. After meeting with several other surgeons, I ultimately chose Dr. Kevin Brenner to repair it. Dr Brenner is meticulous, cautious and talented. Further, he was a general surgeon prior to becoming a plastic surgeon...making him the perfect person to fix my hernia...with an incision that is barely visible. I found Dr. Brenner to have a fantastic bedside manner during my initial consult and following surgery; he is honest, thorough and approachable. He and his staff answered all of my questions thoroughly...and there were many!!! His office staff are friendly, outgoing and so helpful. His anesthetist and nurse were amazing too. It is has been several years since he fixed my hernia, and I couldn't be happier. Even in a bikini, no one has ever noticed that I had anything done. Dr Brenner repaired the hole leaving on thin scar which now, only one month later , is barely perceptible. he did an amazing job. He has a great bedside manner. His staff was so helpful. I visited Dr Brenner per my Dr’s suggestion to get some consultations about 3 years ago. I had reached a very stable point with my stage 4 BC diagnosis and my Dr. felt it was time to do surgery with reconstruction. He suggested I visit some surgeons. He did not specify who, but just have me the job of doing a little research. I regret seeing Dr Brenner 100%. His assistant Amy, gave Dr. Brenner the completely wrong info about my medical records. Dr. brenner told me he was going to cancel my consultation because he didn’t see the point in seeing me, but he felt it was important to let me know in person that I would never be a candidate for mastectomy or reconstruction. It would be impossible. He didn’t give me much hope for anything as relates to quality of life or even life. It was a traumatizing experience and his assistant was incredibly un-compassionate and cold. Not to mention she gave the wrong info and missing updated infofrom my medical files! All this to say, I’m now healing beautifully from a mastectomy and full reconstruction. And I’m cancer free. Healed! Despite the horrible “consultation” where Dr. Brenner felt the need to tell me I would have no quality of life and no way to ever fully recover, I sent an email to his cold and stuck up assistant who also seemed resentful, thanking them for taking the time to explain his side of things to me. No surprise I never got a response. Bottom line, he made sure to give me no chance or hope of life. It was brutal. I thank my medical team and surgeons. They are the best and got me to this beautiful point with full quality of life and beautiful surgery and reconstruction. There’s a huge lesson to be learned here and I’m a shining and thriving example of excellent care with my team at Cedars. Dr.Brenner and his assistant really blew it in the worst way. Thank you so much to Dr. Brenner who stitched up a gash my 4 year old son got right under his eyebrow after hitting a glass wall. It was scary but Dr. Brenner kept him calm and did a great job with the stitching. Very thankful!

This is a follow up to my recent 1 star pretty bad review on Dr. Kevin Brenner. I spent several hours trying to find the review and delete after receiving a lovely phone call from Dr. Brenner. The account I wrote the review from was de-activated for some unknown reason and even tech support said, it's gone. So! Here is an updated review in lieu of rightfully deleting the other. Dr. Brenner personally called me once he discovered my awful review. I did not expect the call and had to verify for myself it was actually the Dr. calling. I was very pleased that he went out if his way to make things right during this call. Dr Brenner was incredibly professional, kind and understanding. He didn't realize how our visit actually landed on me and had zero intention of ever making me feel bad in any way. It's clear to me after our conversation that his intention has been and is always to help others. We both took responsibility for the crazy misunderstanding. Dr. Brenner gave me a beautiful apology and I was once again reminded why I was interested in visiting with him in the first place. I'm left with only good feelings and I hope the Dr. is as well. Dr. Brenner is an incredible surgeon and his office/staff could not be more attentive and helpful. From the initial consultation through the follow up appointments post-surgery, Dr. Brenner and his staff make you feel completely cared for. You can trust Dr. Brenner will accomplish your surgery goals- he has an amazing eye and bedside manner and every single one of his staff is incredible! Could not recommend him more. My Dermatologist referred me to Dr. Brenner to address a melanoma skin cancer that required immediate attention. Dr. Brenner took me right in, reviewed the area, thoroughly explained the situation and what needed to be done to get it sorted out. After a friend of mine shared her story of Breast Implant Illness and explanation I went on a mission to explant myself. I found Dr. Brenner on a BII website and gave his office a call. Right off the bat it was a comfortable experience. The office is warm and inviting and so is the staff. Layla is super sweet, attentive and accommodating. Dr. Brenner has a calm and confident demeanor and listened without judgement to my desire to explant. He let me know what his plan of action would be, made a few extra suggestions and left me to discuss options with Layla. I decided to schedule my surgery date right away! Layla was able to get me a surgery date quickly to fit in the time line I was hoping for. Communitcation in the weeks before surgery was easy, all of my questions were answered in a timely manner. The day before the surgery I received a call from the anesthesiologist who had questions and instructions for me. He is so kind and thorough! Cut to my surgery day... the surgery center is clean, the nurse was very reassuring as was the anesthesiologist and Dr. Brenner. I drifted off to a comfortable sleep and woke up happy. I had no ill side effects from the anesthesia, which means it was handled incredibly well! My healing was without complications, I followed all of the directions exactly as they were given and made it to all follow up appointments. I couldn't be happier with Dr. Brenner and his team. They are seriously the most caring and efficient doctors office that I have had the pleasure to work with. My dad recently had a minor procedure but he has some health problems and Dr. Brenners team has done an amazing job in making sure everything goes as seamless as possible.

Dr. Brenner is my life-altering hero! Everything from his exceptional staff, his wonderfully supportive surgery coordinator, Layla, his caring and friendly personality, and highly skilled work is nothing short of miraculous! I was nervous about scheduling multiple procedures within weeks, but now, just a couple of weeks post-op, I'm amazed by the results and quick healing process thus far. I am 45 years old and was blessed with four children whom I breastfed and gained a considerable amount of weight during each pregnancy. More recently, I was involved in an accident that left me bed ridden and unable to exercise, so I gained weight. End results... I was left with very sagging breasts and excess hanging skin in my lower abdomen that no amount of exercise could ever correct. I was so ashamed of my figure, that I always hid my flaws... even from my own husband! Dr. Brenner performed a mommy make-over, and for the first time in years, I will no longer be hiding behind big black t-shirts! I had a breast reduction with a lift, and am truly amazed to now have round, perky breasts of a 20 year old without requiring implants! No more neck pain and bra straps digging into my shoulders! Next, after suffering from a couple of major accidents that caused multiple facial injuries, I was left with a badly deviated and cracked septum, as well as nerve damage resulting from jaw surgery that caused one of my eyelids to droop on one side, while I could only lift one eyebrow on the other. Dr. Brenner's fix: he performed rhinoplasty. Aside from giving me a more feminine, straighter nose, for the first time in my life, I feel I can breathe amazingly well! To fix the eye/nerve damage, Dr. Brenner removed a little excess skin from my upper lids and added a small amount of Botox on one side to even out my brows. Although I am still healing, I can already tell that the results are better than I imagined. Now I can take photos without hiding from certain angles, and no more need to apply makeup differently to each eye and brow to make them look even. Dr. Brenner stitched up our 3-yr old, who ran into a table and split open just above her eyebrow. Dr. Brenner was referred to us by our pediatrician. While waiting at the E.R., they sent in a doctor who wanted to glue it shut, but we said that we were waiting for the plastic surgeon. Dr. Brenner took the time to do several internal stitches along with the external. The scarring is incredibly minimal. Appreciated Dr. Brenner's sensitivity with a young child and skilled expertise!

I was referred by a friend and although he came as a referral, I did my research on him (kind of felt like a college assignment) and he checked out impeccable and far beyond greatness. Wonderful surgeon --Dr. Brenner has helped me breath again, and I have a nose that looks great. My story--I broke my nose multiple times as a teen and had surgery. Then 20+ years later I felt like I was suffocating and my nose looked deformed with one nostril nearly closed. I didn't realize that was called a deviated septum. What Dr. Brenner did for me was NOTHING LESS than a miracle. I had a small growth on my nostril that I'd let go for 2 years. By the time I got the brains to see a dermatologist, I was diagnosed with basil cell cancer and had to undergo the mohs procedure. To make a long story short, I ended up losing my entire right nostril. I was referred to Dr. Brenner who happened to be in the same building, and he saw me the very next morning. Kevin's the greatest, friendliest and most reassuring soul I've ever met in the medical field. I used to do a little Botox, a little filler. Then that life stuff interfered. Recently I had audition for an on-camera thing.
