I read all the other reviews before beginning mine. I want to start by saying infertility is hard and I truly believe that finding a doctor that is a good fit is super important. I also think that one doctor can be great for someone and not a great fit for someone else and that is okay. I saw many people recommending CCRM over Dr. Bachus. We went to CCRM for a consultation before switching to Dr. Bachus. I didn’t like CCRM immediately as they didn’t want to do any of their own testing and told me they would only be willing to do IVF. My previous testing had been done by just a general clinic and not even a fertility clinic. It shocked me that CCRM didn’t seem interested in doing their own imaging and testing. Dr. Bachus was recommended to us by a few people we knew who used him and since then we have met even more people we know that doctored with him as well. We have also referred others to him. We tried timed intercourse and IUI before the C**** virus shut things down. We took a long break during that time and then came back and did IVF. When we first started with Dr. Bachus I had no interest in doing IVF, but in the end I’m so glad we took the leap. I think being prepared with questions and always being your own advocate is super important no matter the doctor. Dr. Bachus always explained things thoroughly and in a way we could understand. The nurses and office staff were always polite and it felt that they were just as invested as we were. We received updates and calls after hours many times. We live hours from the clinic and they have always been willing to work with us and they try their best to accommodate appointments because of our travel distance. I wouldn’t have my baby in my arms today if it wasn’t for this clinic. We strongly recommend Dr. Bachus and his team. We will hopefully be returning to finish growing our family!

If I could give Dr. Bachus and his staff a million stars I would! They were an exceptional office to work with - we had to change clinics because our first had many issues, and the difference was night and day between our experience and how we were treated. Dr. Bachus spent almost two hours with us during our first appointment with him to explain everything related to our fertility and let us ask as many questions as we had. Every appointment was on time and thorough, instructions on at-home medication were explicit and questions were answered promptly through the portal, you were always able to reach someone on the phone quickly, the staff became our friends (Hi Mallory & Kelly!) and we truly felt like we were taken care of like we were their only patients. One of my procedures left me feeling a bit unwell and Dr. Bachus personally called me that evening after hours and every day following until I recovered to check in on how I was doing. He brought me in as well to make sure everything looked good. He treated us like his kids and we trusted him 100%. I can’t say enough great things about this clinic, especially after having another to compare it to. We are in our second trimester now and are so thankful Dr. Bachus was able to help us grow our family!

If I could give zero stars I would. What a waste of time. Went in for my ultrasound just to be told without the ultrasound being done that my egg health isn't good enough. They immediately say that because I'm over 40 I am a better candidate for an egg donor. They refuse to do any testing because of my age. Kate is insensitive and the first time I met her she was rude.

We had our initial appt w/ who we thought would be with the Dr but instead was Kate Odenwald. She was rude, short, rushed and wouldn’t make eye contact most of the appt. She took some medical files of mine, said she was going to keep them in my file then scanned them into their system and put them in a shred pile instead of simply handing them back to me. When I simply asked for them back, as I do need them for my future medial care, it was like pulling teeth to get them back. This is actually a direct violation of HIPPA, by law medical offices have 30 days to get patients medical records they have requested so just after one appt they already violated HIPPA. Every way they handled this situation is reportable offenses both with the board and hippa. The office staff including Deanna, had all been the absolute rudest, unprofessional and unwilling to help office staff I have EVER encountered. Even before our appt when we needed help with all the paper work from Deanna she acted like we were asking her to do the most annoying task of her life. Such an inconvenience to do her job right? After speaking on the phone to the “Office manager” I can see why the entire office staff behaves and treats PAYING CUSTOMERS the way they do. She was the most condescending, rude, and ill mannered woman I have ever spoken to aside from Kate Odenwald, who called me to argue with me just before that and hung up on me. VERY PROFESSIONAL. After finally demanding they send my medical photos & records of previous surgeries back to me, they sent them back damaged with X’s scratched in them ruining the photos for future use. Don’t waste your time with these people, they think they’re the only and best fertility clinic around as the office manager so gracefully told me on the phone. It’s laughable, really. We’ve already started working with CCRM and just speaking to them on the phone they are warm, caring and helpful. They got us in almost immediately and have been WONDERFUL thus far. You’ll also have an entire team to help you through this already difficult process as well as appts with an ACTUAL DR. Once again don’t waste your time with Dr.Bachus’ office, CCRM is the way to go.

I can’t recommend this clinic enough. All of the care providers and staff consistently excelled at timely, complete communication. The doctor and nurses thoroughly explained each step in my care and the reasoning behind it. When there were options, they educated me and made it clear that I was in control of my care. My procedures with them were successful, but I’ve also had pregnancy success at another clinic. Just as importantly, they provided a high level of compassionate care that made a challenging time much less stressful and scary. Their flexible scheduling and punctual appointments made it clear that my time was valuable and that I wasn’t only a number. I only wish I had worked with Dr. Bachus and his team sooner. I found Rocky Mountain center for reproductive medicine and started my journey with them. I worked with Dr Bachus and his team on and off for over a year. I love everyone in this office. They are so knowledgeable, positive and supportive in a time of high stress for women and couples. Also, they know what they’re doing (I’m 19 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy). It was bittersweet leaving their care after my first trimester as I felt so taken care of through our fertility treatments. I can’t say enough positive things about this office. 10/10. We were referred to the clinic from our general OB after trying progesterone to conceive our 3rd baby and having a miscarriage. Upon arriving, we informed the team of my genetic history of women in my family having very early menopause (40 and under). They kept assuring us that since I have had babies before, it was an easy fix. It was just a hormone adjustment. After a second miscarriage under their care and thousands of dollars later, they finally decided to test my AMH levels, which were extremely low. We learned later is important in understanding ovarian reserve. The nurse that did the majority of our care said that it would be very challenging to conceive but not impossible. After doing a bit of our own research, most other fertility clinics would not move forward with treatment with these numbers as it would not be ethical. Please do your research before entering this clinic. We felt completely disrespected and were put through another loss that could have been avoided. From the office side, after our numbers came back, my husband made it very clear to not call me after hearing this devastating news. He told them to give him a call to wrap up any financial matters. They proceeded to call me several times even after he affirmed that only his number should be called. Just when we thought we were moving on, they called me again to try and collect another $300 for who knows what. This type of behavior proved a lack of sensitivity for such a personal matter. I know it's a drive but please consider clinics in Denver. We were referred to the clinic from our general OB after trying progesterone to conceive our 3rd baby and having a miscarriage. Our experience was indescribably wonderful with Dr. Bachus and his staff. Having failed previous IVF we wre shaken at the prospects of trying again. The nature of medical care, proper setting of expectations, and consultation throughout the process was wonderful. After previous failure with pregnancy, other diagnosis of inability to concieve, countless medicines, tests, procedures and almost being left hopeless we are so glad we chose to try again, and to use Dr. Bachus. So pleased with my experience. Besides some staff being extremely grumpy on Saturday's, it only took a couple of months and we are now expecting our new addition to the family! Dr. Bachus is amazing and sympathetic to women's situations. I understand these treatments can be expensive and yes I did have to pay much out of pocket, but I 'm not sure why other reviewers are so surprised, none of these clinics are cheap and it was always explained to me what each treatment price was and that they would bill insurance to see if anything was covered. They're trying to help you create new life because your body is having difficulties doing so, this is not a cheap process. So pleased with my experience. I had my first appointment here yesterday. I had a great experience. Staff is friendly, my PA is awesome, opportunistic, knowledgeable and accommodating. She took notes, explained what to expect, provided me copies, and answered all questions. I even got to have an ultrasound to see if my organs are healthy. Then they sent me to a lab for blood work. Amazing! I have a little beautiful boy thanks to Dr.Bachus and his staff. As far as some of the reviews about billing, insurance, etc. I made sure I knew what was covered and not covered AND at the initial consultation it was made clear. My insurance covers the diagnosis of infertility but not the treatment. I have put money into an HSA account for years before meeting my husband so thankfully the financial impact wasn't so bad for us. With ultrasound being ~$200 out of pocket, it adds up fast. Nothing came up as a surprise to us. Dr.Bachus is one of the most amazing doctors I have ever encountered. Him and his staff were on the roller coaster ride of emotions that is infertility, right along with us. They cheered when we had success and comforted us when we were defeated. I have recommended them to anyone who asks and even people who don't ask. Amazing! I have a little beautiful boy thanks to Dr.Bachus and his staff. I don't often write reviews for any product or service. However, if my information helps one woman then it's worth it. I would never want anyone to waste thier time and money here like I did. When I went to Dr. Bachus for my initial consultation, I had reservations because the office seemed to run a bit inefficiently and the technology and systems they used seemed 'old fashioned'. I read reviews for his clinic on several sites. The reviews were either 'great' or 'horrible'. I wish I'd gone with my gut before investing four months, well over a thousand miles driven, and several thousand dollars spent. Dr. Bachus himself is very nice. He seems to truly want to help. However, as previously mentioned, his techniques and equipment seem outdated, even from a lay person's point of view. His front office staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. After three months of treatment, and being told our insurance was being billed, his office called and infromed us we owed nearly $2k because our insurance coverage had changed and our treatments were no longer covered. In checking with our insurance, my husband learned our coverage for this type of treatment had not changed in over three years and had it changed, the insurance would've notified us (which they didn't, leading us to believe Dr. Bachus' office was misinformed). During my second and third IUI's, a nursing student performed my procedures. While nice, she was extremely novice and hurt me numerous times during the procedure. Another nurse performed one of my ultrasounds when Dr. Bachus wasn't in and discovered something concerning. Dr. Bachus had me come back the following day and told me what he thought the issue was. I reminded him that it was something he'd found the month before. He flipped back thru my chart and did some reading. Then he admitted he hadn't looked that far back and what the nurse found had been addressed the previous month. When our first course of treatment didn't work out, Dr. Bachus suggested we take a break and then regroup. However, having had cancer, I felt like my time was very limited and did not want to take a break. I called to schedule a regroup and new ultrasound and was told we could not be seen for another eight days. I ended up talking to a nurse, after the receptionist, and was told the same thing. I again explained that I didn't wish to wait and asked to have a brief phone conference with Dr. Bachus. The nurse told me he simply didn't have time to even call me. She told me she'd reviewed my chart and based on her experience, there weren't many options left for me. She said she doubted Dr. Bachus would want to give me any higher doses of injectible meds or explore a different course of treatment. Now I fully understand there are others in my same boat who need the clinic's attention. But to not only be told that there was not even time for a phone call and that 'my options had been exhaused', by a nurse, was the last straw. My husband and I have decided to utilize CCRM. Just after my phone consult with them, I'm already more confident that I'm now (finally) making a good decision for my care. While I don't know what my future holds for my fertility, I do know my time with Dr. Bachus' clinic was a total waste. How I wish I had followed not only my gut instinct about this clinic but also some of the reviews I'd read after my consultation. I don't often write reviews for any product or service. However, if my information helps one woman then it's worth it. I would never want anyone to waste thier time and money here like I did. … More

Awful doctor. Bills for everything and anything and they don't tell you about it ahead of time. Then when they finally send the bill they expect to be paid within a week. Ridiculous. The doctor isn't so bad but the rest of the staff is rude and inconsiderate. They don't listen to you and treat you like garbage over the phone.
