I have not been a patient of Dr. Sheth’s for about four years now because we moved out of the area. But, the passage of time and other allergists I have seen in the intervening years have instilled in me an appreciation for Dr. Sheth that didn’t fully realize at the time. Often, if a doctor takes time for you, the dark side is that you’ve had to wait awhile (because they are taking time with everyone). This is not true with Dr. Sheth. During the three or so years I was a patient, I think I only had to wait more than 10 minutes just once (that’s including all the times I went in for shots). He truly took time to answer any questions I had, and though my appointments with him may have been months apart, he would always ask about aspects of my personal life shared during previous visits. He treated me with respect and as a fellow human being, and I can’t tell him how much I appreciated that. And it trickled down. The nurses and staff were always friendly and professional. Kind and caring staff and nurses. Dr. Sheth himself is very welcoming and took the time and throughly explained my problem to me.

Dr. Sheth is an incredibly kind and knowledgable practitioner. He saved me from getting an unnecessary surgery recommended by another Doctor. Because of his advice, my body was able to heal on its own and with less intrusive methods rather than by surgical intervention.

Dr. Sheth has seen both of my babies and was very welcoming at every appointment, making them (and me) feel at ease. He’s a very gentle, compassionate, and knowledgeable physician who truly cares for his patients.

Would give a negative rating if I could. Terrible, horrible bedside manner and recanted everything he had instructed a 1st time pregnant woman to do for her allergies during her pregnancy, at 39 weeks pregnant, and made her feel she had harmed her baby. Everything he said that scared her was refuted by her amazing Obstetrician.

Poor bedside manner... went once to him. Asks me question, then cut me off while im answering. Does not act like he cares. Hunting for someone else...

I genuinely didn't know Doctors could, or would, actually care as much as Dr. Sheth or provide such excellent service. Not only did he do a very thorough allergy test to show that I did not have allergies, as I'd been told previously by another allergist, but he identified that I actually had asthma and was at 70% lung capacity. He got me on a treatment and sent me for chest xrays. Then when something unexpected came up, he immediately recommended me to a cardiologist and sent me his very detailed notes on what he found in the xrays so I could have them when I visited a cardiologist. Doesn't listen to patients complaints, just follows his own protocol as if you weren't there. Refused to consider testing options other than skin pricks, even though history showed reaction only to airborne infiltrate. Refused to consider treatment options, and only suggestion was "don't go outside". Spent $1000+ dollars on him and his condescending and useless 10 minutes of consultation. I suspect he is a better MBA than MD (see his qualifications). I don't know why anyone would recommend this guy, unless you exactly fit the textbook patient. Better to take a trip to Cleveland Clinic or perhaps IU where you can get properly diagnosed and treated. On top of everything else, I was unable to obtain the records of my tests and his notes.

I paid over $900 after insurance for a visit to talk with him briefly and get an allergy test. The test came back negative, so he just guessed my congestion was due to a chronic sinus infection and sent me on my way. Had I known the consultation and test were much more expensive than the typically market costs, I would not have gone. So much money wasted!

It was clear he did not care about me, or my allergies. He was dismissive, and the visits amounted to nothing useful. If you are not the standard allergy patient, steer clear!! No results found here, or even any compassion.

Dr. Sheth seems to be more concerned with making money than helping patients. For instance, We mutually agreed to cease allergy shots and that it was not necessary for me to continue seeing him if I wasn't getting the shots. I left his office and scheduled a followup appointment with my primary care doctor which ended up being almost 2 months out. I then realized 8 days later that I needed cingulair and called for a refill with Dr. Sheth - at first the nurse said that they would call it in and that if there were any problems they would call me back - I received no calls, and no prescription was called in - I called back the following day and Dr Sheth REFUSED to call in a refill until I could come back to his office for a checkup - excuse me doctor "I want to take your money" but I was just there a few short days ago! This is ridiculous, and nothing short of an attempt to get more money out of me and my insurance company. I will not tolerate this! I am mad enough to write a review!!! I almost didn't go because of all these reviews .he was lovely. He didn't charge me for an extra test .he did my allergy tests right away so I didn't need another appointment .it was easy he was kind .wasn't the result i wanted but not his fault!

I have been a patient of Dr. Sheth's for several years, and he is one of the best. He is very caring and compassionate and knows what he is doing. He is the only doctor among many I was seeing who was concerned about a symptom that also concerned me. Due to his concern and follow through, I was diagnosed and treated for a very rare condition that was constricting my airway (by the way - not even allergy or asthma related).

His bedside manner was the worst He was insulting when I took in the results of my blood work and said that he didn't know how to read it that it didn't make any sense to him because to him it wasn't a real allergy test I paid him over $1,000, and he did nothing to help me. He wasn't interested in trying to find out what was wrong because he just sent me on my way.

Horrible. Horrible . Horrible. Made my 4 yr old endure 32 allergy test and didn't test him for the main concern which was good. The Dr. didn't listen to my concerns at all. I still don't know if my son has a food allergy because he's wasn't tested for any. The doctor was quick, bad bedside manner and rude.

I have been going to Dr. Sheth for years, and two of my kids see him. His treatments have allowed me to garden again and keep my cat! I cannot say more positive things about him.

I would not recommend Dr. Sheth due to his high fee for a consultation. We were referred to Dr. Sheth by our pediatrician for allergy testing. I should have called in advance for fee information, as his consultation fee was over $300, making my out-of-pocket expense much higher than expected. Dr. Sheth was in the room with my son for less than 5 minutes, and was clearly in a hurry. I will never return to Dr. Sheth due to his high pricing.

Very little was explained to me about my son's allergies and not one time was there mention of having an epi pen just in case. I was basically told that there was nothing else to do and see you back in a year. I specifically ask for him to be tested for a certain food item due to his skins' response upon eating the item and i was basically told that i was crazy for thinking he could be allergic to this item because hardly any one is. I will not be returning to this dr as he is very rude.
