Dr. Kerry Lewis

I initially became a patient of Dr. Lewis' due to being diabetic (pre-pregnancy). At that time the obgyn that I had was subpar at best. Due to having an incompetent cervix I was monitored very closely. After almost miscarrying (had two previous miscarriages) I requested to have Dr. Lewis oversee my pregnancy overall. That was the absolute BEST decision I could have made!!! Had I stuck with the previous doctor I am 100% certain that I would have miscarried for a third time! He cares and does not make you feel rushed or ignored during your appointments. He is very honest and direct without putting you off. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lewis for any woman that is diabetic during pregnancy and certainly if you suffer with an incompetent cervix! Best doctor ever!!!

I had the unfortunate luck of having dr.lewis when he was at Howard University. Not only did he not pick up on a major health crisis I almost died. Do not see this doctor!

Dr. Lewis is a excellent Dr. He cares for his patients and wants the best for you. When my husband died suddently and I was preganet with twins. He provided me with professional care and bedside manner.

I must say, when I was referred to Dr. Lewis, I didn't know what to think. I was told by my pcp that I was considered high risk and that he is the best. So, when I walked in the office, there were many forms to fill out. After doing that, I was asked to come to the back. I must say that I fell in love! He was nice, personable,and just an all around cool doctor. I have and will continue to recommend him to many of my close friends and family.

We were very nervous about our second baby due to complications with previous pregnancy. We found Dr. lewis in a magazine (the Washingtonian) as one of America's top physicians in 2008. We dont plan on having another child but, if life chooses us he would be our physician again.
