Kerri J Gray

Dr. Kerri Gray and her team are friendly and approachable. Scheduling appointments is easy, and the administrative staff appear to be organized. If you want a doctor who will do a quick wellness exam, fill prescriptions, do blood work, and check your vitals, Dr. Gray is for you. However, if you have more complex health concerns or want a more thorough examination, I suggest a different practice. I've had a medical concern that I've wanted addressed for months now. At first, Dr. Gray seemed to handle it well--she submitted an MRI request for me right away. However, I've been rejected by insurance several times now; while I know this isn't Dr. Gray's fault, her response has been lackluster at best. I've called the office half a dozen times to try to get a different scan--CT scan, X-rays, anything--and Dr. Gray seems to either forget to submit the paperwork or doesn't take the time to fill it out properly. I still haven't heard back about my last request. At this point, I've given up trying because I feel like I'm wasting my time with a doctor who won't advocate for me in even the simplest ways. A friend of mine who also sees Dr. Gray (and happens to be a nurse herself) has shared similar stories about the quick and to-the-point checkups she's had. Examples: No apparent review of the patient's medical chart/history, lack of examination of ears/nose/eyes, failure to check lymph nodes/vital organs. While a simple checkup isn't necessarily a bad thing, there appears to be some level of care missing from Dr. Gray's process. She's friendly and has a nice bedside manner, but don't expect a lot of time or attention from her. You get the basics.

There is no better family medicine practitioner to be found. Dr. Gray sees the big picture, pays close attention to the small details, and provides clear guidance that is well suited for each individual patient's disposition and health literacy. Besides providing excellent routine care, she has guided us through a number of complex and sometimes very scary health problems. In every case, she has made it easier, clearer, and provided outstanding perspective for making the best health care decisions.

Simply the best, most competent, practitioner around. Very much up to date on new methods, pharmaceuticals, and technologies. Warm and personable with connections to the leading specialists. Very responsive.

Dr Gray is one of the best physicians I have ever had. She was introduced to me by a friend and is my primarily physician for over a decade. She is very knowledgeable and her diagnosis are accurate she has saved me from a dangerous heart problem and many other things. She's very gentle with her delivery and is a kind human being. Every time she walks into the room she greet you with a big smile. She's never in a rush and gives you plenty of time to talk to her. She is experienced, knowledgeable, approachable and kind. Best of all you can walk in without an appointment. She is now in a new place. Thank you Dr. Gray and wonderful staff ❣️

Staff is awful. Dr. is meh! Avoid at all costs.

I visited this office about a month ago. The front office is horrible. They don't seem enthusiastic about their work at all. Dr. Gray is nice, but she is unresponsive when you need help the most. I definitely wouldn't count on this practice.

I had a good experience with her.

Dr. Gray has taken care of me, my husband, and my daughter since 2004. We trust her. She's smart, and she's kind. And now that she has her own practice we are very happy.

Revised, 5 April 2022: Dr. Gray left me hanging on a telemedicine call for over an hour. I guess she didn't like the review I left, below. Front desk impossibly unresponsive. My regard for Dr. Gray is significantly diminished by her passive-aggressive behavior. Happily, MedStar has opened an urgent care much closer to my location. Old review: Dr. Gray and her PA, Tata, are wonderful in every way: capable, informed, efficient, kind, good explainers, good listeners. The nurses, too, are kind and capable and personable and good listeners. The front desk and phone service have been awful in the past. Recent experience looks like they're getting better. Still, policy is the you cannot speak with a doctor or PA on the phone., making it difficult to get test results . If you have a follow-up question for doc and she is with a patient, you have no recourse other than keep calling. The front desk tells you that the doctors don't take or return calls and to make another appointment. That said, their online appointments and portal now make it easier to circumvent the front desk almost entirely. Dr. Gray quickly diagnosed my condition, and was very knowledgeable and helpful. She is professional and answered my questions and concerns. I was visiting from out of town and felt fortunate to find her.

Kerri Gray is the best! She's incredibly smart, a great diagnostician, very empathetic .....and she has a great personality! I've been a patient for close to 20 years. HOWEVER, the front desk staff is consistently pathetic: rude, argumentative, apathetic and completely lacking in people skills, let alone patient skills.

Dr. Gray is the sweetest doctor I've ever been to. I feel like she's even a friend at this point. She's always very helpful and answers any and all questions I may have. The receptionist staff and nurses are all amazing and kind as well. I've been seeing Dr. Gray for 4 years now and will continue to be a patient of hers!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The people at the front desk are the most disrespectful people I have ever had to deal with in an office setting. I went into the office at around 11:30 and had to wait almost two hours just to be placed in a room to wait another 45 minutes while the staff was talking in the back. When I was asked why I was being seen I had told the woman who seemed very nice that I was coming in to get my nose checked out due to getting hit, the guy sitting beside her blatantly goes "theres nothing we could really do for you here", to where I responded to him that I wanted to get it checked out by my doctor and wanted to get a referral to get it x-rayed. He didn't respond rather just ignored me and went about whatever he was doing. I then got sent out to get x rayed else where, where they had to fax the information two separate times because the "Grahm" had stated that they were not received the first time they were sent. After calling the office on three separate occasions I asked why I had not received a follow up call since the radiologist rushed out the information in the early afternoon the day prior telling me I would receive feedback from my doctor within the hour, I was then told by Grahm that the world wouldn't stop for me to hear back on the information I needed to know. The treatment I have received from the staff in this office is BEYOND disgusting and having read other reviews from other people, new front desk associates should be hired because there are serious problems on the customer service end. Due to the treatment I am switching primary care doctors and will never come back to this office. Absolutely disgusted. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have been a patient of Dr. Kerri Gray since 2009, and I dont ever remember meeting a physician as professionally competent, personable, empathetic and results-driven as she has proven to be. This review is long overdue simply because medical professionals oftentimes seem motivated by the wrong things, and Dr. Kerri Gray is an absolute exception to those assertions. Great! Even though she was busy and I was a walk-in, she sat down in the exam room and listened. She did not seem rushed even though the front desk person said her schedule was too full to see me. She took the time to explain the reasoning behind her recommendations. I would highly recommend her.

My recent annual physical there was horrid. She spent 10 minutes with me and the majority of time was going over what she would NOT be including in my physical. She is uncaring, cold and indifferent. Then labcorp billed me for blood work that she coded wrong in my records. Don't even think about this "Dr" She is just awful

EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE FOR NO REASON. Came here on my lunch break to check out an annoying, very itchy rash that I STILL have on my hand. Paid $20 dollars, waited 45 mins to be seen by an obnoxious doctor who was still chewing his food as he spoke to me. Look at the rash for 2 mins and said "hmmm looks like a calluses to me, yeah ok" gave me a cream that did not work. A week later I received a bill for $60 for his "services". In total, I ended up paying $80 for 2 mins of a nonchalant conversation with a doctor who had no idea or clue how to help me or even care to help me for that matter. Dr. Gray is a wonderful doctor and so were her nurses.. Unfortunately the firm and the company that owns the place are not... Reception is rude and cannot answer anything. the phone calls not returned and I was never able to ask doctors about lab results, or referrals or anything else that came through their system.. If you can get to the doctor themselves they are great... However if not and you rely on the others its extremely frustrating and medically not helpful.. I had left message trying to understand a referral and instead of being able to talk to a doctor or even a customer service person, I got a letter from the "Company" (with no telephone number of anyone I could talk to) saying they were kicking me out of the practice as I was "not compatible." Then just the next week I got three auto-messages saying I needed to come in to have my blood pressure checked ! What? Completely dysfunctional system and no one really responsible to talk with about it -- a shame because the doctors are good but it's not enough. And no way to treat anyone , let alone a sick patient. FYI this is not an “urgent care” facility, even though they call it “immediate care.” Why does this matter? Because they can charge higher prices compared to urgent care facilities as explained to me by their billing dept. They charged my provider (BCBS) $466 for my first visit which I only saw a physician assistant for 10 minutes for a prescription fill! I have to pay almost $200 out of pocket when I normally pay less than $100 at an urgent care (patient first, right time). Be ware of this before you go in for a visit! EDIT: so after posting a few reviews for this business I got call from their billing department and they discussed why I was charged the high price and they refunded me $73 out of the $200 I paid. Dr.Grey is a one of a kind doctor. I had an unusual medical problem today. She listened to my description, asked questions, gave her medical opinion and topped it off with doing some research to make sure we had covered everything. I have been seeing her for about 20 years and she has never let me down. She is caring, competent, informed and personable. I highlyly recommend her!

I have been seeing Dr. Gray since I moved to Maryland 8 years ago. She has always been great but since she has moved to the new practice I have had issues with my prescriptions and speed of lab results. It took over a week for them to call and tell me I had a UTI (I've never been called more than 3 days after having labs taken...Especially if they have a positive result). Then they said they would send and Rx in to my pharmacy but they never did and I had to wait till after the weekend to call the office and ask that they send the Rx. I am not sure if this is due to the Doctor or the support staff, but it was really disappointing since I don't wait to leave Dr. Gray, but can't accept poor service when it comes to my health. Doctors are great, staff is friendly, but it is very hard to get a hold of anyone by phone when you have a question or need a prescription refilled.

Kerri Gray is outstanding. She's friendly, personable and very quick to listen and address any concerns. She called my prescriptions in immediately after discovering I was leaving the country the next day. I highly recommend her!

Not sure where these patients are coming from but our experience was a complete disaster. We called in advance before coming from Rockville. The machine on the phone said we were second in line. That meant that they were there, talking to some other patient. We waited but gave up since no one answered. We decided to come. When we got there there was a note at the door saying that they were closed. No explanation whatsoever. They should have put a recording on the phone saying that they were going to be closed. This is not so much for Dr. Gray as it is for the new practice as I am still disappointed. I've been a patient of Dr. Gray for ten years. She just joined this new group and after a simple office visit (ten minutes max) I get a bill for $350 plus $125 for a basic procedure. Turns out they counted me as a new patient and charged me one office visit for each condition i discussed. What a ripoff. No interest in adjusting bill. New practice is a disaster. I saw Doctor Mennen at the clinic. I was very satisfied and impressed by both with the Immediate Care clinic and with Dr. Mennen. Have gone to Dr. Gray for 20 years. Have referred many other friends to her and she is extremely astute and has diagnosed many situations that would be easy for many other doctors to miss. She is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and friendly to boot. I cannot say enough good things or recommend her highly enough.

I have officially seen every provider and can say everyone is very knowledgable and attentive. Dr. Gray has been so wonderful with my daughter and with our family. She is tremendous, we have been going to her office for many years and I can say they are excellent. My daughter has autism and gets anxious on visits, and I cannot overstate how great the office and Dr Gray in particular have been and the efforts they have made to help with this. Walked in seen in less than an hour asked if I wanted to see Dr Gray I said no was seen by a great PA (named Tata??) who was polite positive ("I can help you") and effective.

I went in for a yearly physical exam. She seemed rushed and did not take the time to get to know my history. Exam lasted 5 minutes. I am still waiting for her to follow up with a question I had about one of my test results, even after contacting the office about it. Switching to another primary care physician.

Dr. Gray is awesome. She is a wonderful physician--hands down--but having her as my primary for a few years now, I am pretty sure she is a wonderful person as well. You would think that with her practice being walk-in that she doesn't have time to talk or you don't want to take up her time because she's so busy, but yet she ALWAYS takes the time and then some to answer any questions or concerns I have. Talk about bedside manner, you don't know it until you know Dr. Gray. Also, sometimes the wait time is long, but there are more practitioners being added to the practice and the wait should decrease a great deal. I live 45 minutes away, and yes it is a pain driving that far for my primary, however I switched to someone closer when Dr. Gray moved practices because I could not find where she had moved at first, and after one visit to some rude troll of a PCP, I immediately went back to searching for Dr. Gray's new practice! Dr. Kerry has been consistently patient and attentive. She puts my mind at ease with her friendly and respectful approach. If needed, she follows up with a personal call, and if the circumstances require, she goes out of her way to give assistance. On occasion, I have to wait a bit longer, but for me it's well worth my time, as the treatment I get is comprehensive and I never feel rushed.

Dr. Gray was recommended to me by my therapist, who is excellent herself, and I REALLY like her. I've seen her twice. She is easy to talk to, personal, empathetic, and very positive. In her office, I feel respected as a peer, not spoken down to or dismissed. All doctors should be like this.
