She does not keep up with the latest medical information nor does she try to accommodate her patients. The front desk person is her gatekeeper and for this you pay a concierge fee.

according to her office she is a concierge doctor charging $1800 a year to each patient. She will not process insurance claims and her patients are also prohibited from submitting claims for reimbursement for the cost of her services.

Dr. Desoto does not follow up if you have an issue in the ER or if she is asked to communicate with another doctor. You will be put into her schedule at her convenience and, if you are traveling, you are on your own.
