My rhinoplasty results were flat out botched. Pre-surgery I had a very large round nose and I was hoping to achieve a smaller sized nose while maintaining the round shape. Once the cast came off I ended up with a pointed nose and deformed nostrils. You can literally now see into my nose. Dr. Hughes also used self dissolving sutures that came out prematurely so I was left with scarring on either side of my nostrils. His wife was the receptionist and was always late to open the office. i must agree, it is VERY DIFFICULT to contact the office; the best thing is go in person and speak with shannon.. otherwise dr.hughes needs 2B in beverly hills practicing, b/c has that good!!.. i had an excellent experience with him

The one star is absolutely not for Dr. Hughes himself, he’s been a God-send to me! He has always had an amazing bedside manner and truly cares about his patients! After 15 years, I was forced to go to another doctor despite the fact I didn’t at all mind the 4 hour drive, one way, to see him! I had to switch doctors because Kim, his wife/office manager is one of, if not the most despicable human beings I’ve ever met! She has absolutely ruined his practice! It took me 8 weeks of calling every day for a month, then 2-3 calls a week for another month before she would return my call! That was the final straw for me, and I began looking for a local doctor. Finally found a new doctor and scheduled surgery for this coming Thursday, 1/31/19, and I have been calling for three days just to find out what size and type of implants I have! All Kim has to do is spend 5 minutes pulling my file to let me know and she never has to deal with me again; yet, she’s incapable of a simple task. She has personally disliked me from day one! I have a good idea why she doesn’t like me, but I can assure her, I’m not interested in going from patient to spouse like she went from office girl to spouse! Jealousy is unbecoming! I wish nothing but the best for Dr. Hughes and can’t thank him enough for being an amazing human being! I guess it is true, opposites attract! He made sure to get ahold of me when it came to my Mentor implants which many people were having problems with. Which was good because both had ruptured. He got them taken care of without me having to pay for those replacements. Giving me the choice of filing in the suit or getting the free replacements. Kept me very well informed

Despite several attempts to contact and request medical records on the saline implants he placed several years ago that are making me sick, he nor his staff will return my phone calls. I've left detailed messages, and cannot get through to a real person, just always a voicemail. If he doesn't have the records still, he should be able to tell me what type of implants he was placing at the time because Sillicone wasn't cleared for use by the FDA at that time. So frustrating! It's hard to belive that there is an other betty ensor that had breast cancer same as mine surgery almost the same day n on the same side n felt the same about her self as I did which betty ensor is this Aug 20 06

I had old implants removed, breast lift, new implants put in and lipo. He does good work!
