I have been going to Dr Woods for some years. He is very good with Dentist shy people, (me). He does what is needed very well, but does not try to sell you on unneeded work.

I have been dealing with a chronic condition for 12 years. I live in the Pittsburgh area and every doctor as well as dentist that I saw about this told me that I could not possibly be allergic to my filling. I was put through CT scans and MRIs and blood work and a lot of unnecessary extremely expensive tests because I could not be allergic to the material in one of my fillings. I came to Dr woods out of desperation. It was really a last ditch effort to get this stuff out of my mouth before it killed me. I was losing my senses, having any irregular heartbeat, developing rashes, and ridiculous amounts of physical pain on a daily basis and extremely fatigued. Dr Wood s changed out the filling material for me after making sure that I had not gotten some other infectious issue in my tonsils or my ear or my sinuses. He is the only person that listened to me in 12 years. The material was removed on Monday and replaced with as hypoallergenic of a product as he could come up with. It is now Thursday and every single day my symptoms have receded more and more. I am almost entirely pain-free and I haven't had a pain-free day since 2015. I am still waiting to see if this fully fixes the problem. But I haven't shown improvement in years. It has been nothing but a decline. My sense of taste and sense of smell are returning, my hearing has fully returned, my vision is improving. I never thought I'd even be able to think about being my normal self again. Dr. Woods is the friendliest dentist I’ve ever met. He’s concerned about your discomfort even if nothing on your x-ray shows decay. He was able to find a spot on the side of my tooth that wasn’t decayed enough to see with an x-ray and remedied the situation before it became a real problem. Wonderful dentist. I have been a patient of Dr. Wood's since I have had teeth! Very talented, caring and knowledgeable man. His staff is just as great and always willing to answer any questions.

Dr. Woods is an awful dentist and does very poor restoration. Does not follow protocol for X-rays and never diagnosed my mother with periodontal disease and now she is at risk for loosing her teeth. Never go here if you like your teeth
