Kenneth Jay Sobel

For 20 years, Ken Sobel was my trusted Primary Care physician. He was a comprehensive, no-nonsense doctor with an engaging personality. Sadly, he retired from medicine in March 2021. He will be missed. This listing needs to be updated to reflect his departure from the field.

Never can get them on the phone. But when you go there 2 women at reception with nothing going on then when you leave 2 women at exit. Sign says to have a seat. They just stare at you 5 mins then ask your name . WHY DO YOU NOT LET THE PHONE CALLS COME IN AND TALK TO PATIENTS. And Dr Sobel used the "F " Word to me today. Dr. Sobel is the most intellectual and knowledgeable doctor I have; he has been my primary care doctor for many years. One of the things I like most about his care is his ability to recommend natural medicines that allow me NOT to use medicines that have multiple side effects. I can recommend him highly.

Dr. Sobel has been seeing me for over 12 years and has always been kind, compassionate and professional. Genuinely cares about my health.

Dr Sobel is an awesome Dr. He is caring and compassionate. Always spends enough time to make sure you have all your questions answered and feel comfortable about everything before you leave. They don't tell you about your new patients visit only with nurse practitioner. Wish I could give them 0 star.

New patients be cautious! His office reported things to my insurance that I didn't say in my visit which led to hundreds of dollars in extra fees. When asked for clarification, I was told multiple different answers which didn't add up. I asked to speak with him and he never reached out. I absolutely love everything about this entire practice and especially Dr. Sobel. He is a true no-nonsense doctor who shoots straight no matter what. He is extraordinarily efficient and thorough and really listens to every aspect of a problem.

I like Dr. Cheek, and I have excellent care when I'm in the office. The problem is trying to contact the office. It is impossible to get a live person on the phone, and I understand that since it's a busy office. But I should have my phone call returned, and it never is...Some recordings say the call will be returned within 48 hours, some say returned same day. Neither. And since the Patient Portal is down (and has been for a while), there is not any way to communicate with them. I have referred people to this office because I like the Dr, but they have gone elsewhere since they can never make an appointment.
