Worst dr and staff I have ever meet. There isn’t enough room on here to post everything that happened to my mom after her surgery. Absolutely the worst!!

This was the absolute worst Dr I have ever seen. Absolutely is the rudest, most unprofessional, and unkind doctor. At my appointment he discounted other physicians analysis of scans. He said he just throws those away because he never reads these because they are wrong. He totally was acting like all I wanted was to be cut on. This man is absolutely crazy. Im not sure of others, but that is the last thing I would want. So he was minimizing symptoms I am suffering from everyday. He would not give any answers to questions I was asking, while trying to flaunt how many he has treated. To my understanding what I have is rare. I looked up this information and found that he hasn't treated that many as all. Reviews are too kind because if I can rate actually it would be zero. This Dr is very arrogant. So if you want to see a Dr that has good bedside manners or any manners at all, do not try to see this Dr. Wait times are very, very long. I would recommend going somewhere else besides this office. I was seen at Mayo Clinic at Jacksonville Neurology and this Dr even tried to say they were wrong. I was looking for a neurosurgeon local and a neurologist here at home so Mayo could interact. I would be embarrassed to recommend this Dr.

He did surgery on me years ago. I was very pleased with Dr. Smith and his care. He's very protective of his patients, and is kind & professional.

His medical and surgical expertise is above reproach. His office staff and scheduling is another. Every time we come to his office someone is complain about appointment times. My mom was scheduled for a CT scan but was missed because they MAILED her appointment time. Sorry, but she was in the hospital at the time. Also, looooong wait times because they schedule a lot of people before and after lunch. To sum up, as far as a neurosurgeon, none better anywhere. Just work on scheduling a bit more. Dr. Smith is fantastic. He listened to what I had to say then offered me two treatment options. The staff is wonderful. They go above and beyond. I highly recommend them.

We can not thank this team of wonderful Surgeons, FNP, RN, and office staff enough for everything they have done for our mother. The care they give, courtesy, and extensive outreach to us has been exceptionly greatful. God has given this entire team great knowledge and leadership for the respectful care they give. We could not have accomplished and succeeded this journey without them. We love them all. May God continue to lead, guide, and bless each of them. Dr. Smith has performed 2 surgeries for me. One replacing a disc at C6-7 in 1997 and another in my lower back -total stenosis of the spine, 2 discs bulging on sciatic nerve,etc. in 2000. His expertise and professionalism were above the average, exceedingly so. I would put my trust in him above anyone in his field.

First you never can talk ton person on the phone. Secondly patient portal is ALWAYS down. Third he doesn't listen to anything said, he acts superior to all and thinks no one knows anything. I have dealt with him dismissing me and my continued symptoms for 16 months with nothing but pain and suffering.
