I was in the ER after I had a gallbladder removal surgery with a different surgeon and was having some complications. Dr. Pelehac was the on call surgeon in the ER that day. Not only was he extremely rude rolling his eyes at every thing I said he told me multiple times to quit crying (which when your in extreme pain is not easy) he then accused me of being a drug addict and then when on to say that I was mentally ill and should be put in therapy. Let me remind you this all happened in the whole five minutes he was in my room, first time ever meeting and I had barely said five words due to being in pain. My husband flagged down the Dr we were talking to before Dr. Pelehac came in and told him what had happened and he was just as disgusted as us at what had just taken place. I don't understand how a Dr. Such as him has been practicing as long as he has but I will never let him near me again and have filed complaints with the hospital. Good luck to anyone who needs help and is as unfortunate to get this man as your Dr.
