Dr. Kenneth Mangano

STAY AWAY. This experience is why people hate dentists: (1) Had tooth evaluated for a root canal after a filling fell out. From the moment I walked in, it felt like an assembly line. After providing an "estimate" and requiring payment up front, tech walked me to a very fancy machine for panoramic photos. I asked whether it was covered by insurance, and she misleadingly responded that it "was included in the estimate." It was not covered by insurance, and her choice of words was quite interesting, because of course the estimate turned out to be low. By hundreds of dollars. (2) The Dr. spent about 2 minutes with me. By asking a couple of questions I stretched it out to 4 minutes. He said I was "lucky" and that I only needed a root canal. He acted like he did not want to be there. (3) Because of the bad vibes I got, I sought a second open. That Dr. looked at the exact same X-Ray, asked some common sense questions, and explained why if it was his tooth he wouldn't get a root canal. He was surprised the first guy did. He felt bad for me and didn't even charge me for the visit.

After a bad experience elsewhere I was so scared to get a root canal but Dr. hack and her assistant Jada were SO professional and friendly. She explained the whole process, made sure I was numbed completely as I'm resistant to anesthesia, and let me listen to my headphones while they did the actual root canal, which went QUICKLY. For something so NOT fun, it went very very smoothly. Would definitely go back to her for my future needs.

Dr. Mangano's office arranged to see me in less than one week from me contacting them. They also let me know what insurance would cover and what the cost to me would be. After a very short wait, Jen brought me into the back and started their process. She got all images needed and went over my issue and got all background information to assist Dr. Mangano with his assessment. Dr. Mangano came in shortly thereafter and gave me his opinion on the issue and the possible treatment options. He then examined me and determined what treatment would likely have the best possible outcome. They started the procedure shortly thereafter. Each step was clearly described to me throughout the procedure. Everything went smoothly and I could not be happier with the results. I will definitely call Dr. Mangano and his team if I have any future needs. I highly recommend this practice!

Great experience here with Dr. Hack and Kristin! The office was very clean and friendly and completely put me at ease for getting my root canal. Great bedside manner, answered questions I didn’t even have, and got me in within a day and out within an hour. Best doctor’s office I have been too in a long time.

There are simply not enough words or stars to share how grateful I am to Dr. Mangano and his staff. I suffer from severe anxiety and dread every dental appointment I have ever had in my lifetime as a result. I just got a root canal for a tooth I broke here today and I couldn’t have been in better hands. Dr. Mangano was so patient with me. His assistant, Sam, helped me relax as this is the first procedure I had ever done without something for anxiety. She offered her hand and was just so caring. It should be noted I am pregnant and they were so careful with me and made sure to double vest for X-rays performed. Rude Staff.

I do not like dentists. I would rather take a beating but Dr Nicholson was excellent. He didn’t hurt me once and the next day I had no pain at all. I’ve had tenderness at least from a regular old filling but absolutely nothing from Dr Nicholson! I had a call the next evening to check on me and whether I had any problems and overall I am very pleased with my visit. I wish I could have Dr Nicholson for all my dental needs! ???? Beware of the unnecessary "3 dimension " X ray that they will try to sell you. Incidentally the insurance companies don't cover it and they will tell you that is imperative to the diagnosis. Verified insurance over the phone BEFORE the procedure. After the procedure, I paid the patient portion BEFORE leaving the facility. I received a bill for over $600 about 10 days later that DUE UPON RECEIPT. Wow, I did not even have time to question the weird charge on the bill. Why quote me a price, have me pay the price, then send some amended bill later?? And I tried to ask a question about the bill and I was met with a threat of late charges and collections. Not only that, the temporary filling or padding she put in fell out the very next day after the root canal. $1500 for a crown, and $1000 for a root canal + the $700 my insurance covered. just like a few others mentioned! Watch out! Even with insurance you will be charged out of pocket without a heads up! Dentist referred my daughter here due to pain in her tooth. Her dentist thought she may need a root canal or just a filling redone. My daughter's dentist sent over x-rays with the referral. The staff looked at her x-rays and then called me and told me my daughter needed a root canal. I didn't feel comfortable with them making that decision without examining her. I decided to hold off and in the meantime asked her regular dentist if she could just redo the filling and see if the pain resolves. But again her dentist didn't want to do that and insisted we get an evaluation with the endodontist. So a few months later I called this office and scheduled her for an evaluation, not a root canal appointment. I took my daughter in and the assistant said she needed better x-rays done and took some new ones. Then the endodontist evaluated my daughter and determined that she needed the filling replaced NOT a root canal. As I was checking out I was told I owed $120 since the x-rays are 3D and insurance doesn't cover these fancy x-rays. Poor business tactic! Most people want to know if there is an out of pocket cost before service..I never even heard of a 3d x-ray and was not explained that the x-ray being taken was something different than a regular x-ray that won't be covered. just like a few others mentioned! Needed a dental evaluation and was sent there by my primary dentist. The Mangano office was clean and followed CDC guidance. I felt very safe and secure. Very professional with a thorough evaluation.

I just had a double root canal on my front two bottom teeth. Dr Nicholson took care of me practically pain-free and in a timely matter. Everyone there is very professional and polite and great to work with. I highly recommend them!!!

I had to have an unexpected root canal procedure and they were so helpful and timely in getting me an appointment even though I was a new patient. When I got there they explained every single step of the way and made sure to keep me informed throughout the procedure. The whole thing only took around 40 minutes and that’s not even the best part, I have absolutely no soreness or pain, AT ALL! The moment the numbness wore out I felt completely fine. I just had a root canal this morning. Dr. Hack was the specialist that performed the procedure and her assistant Katie. It was a very pleasant experience. Dr. Hack did an excellent work. I am very anxious bec., it’s been awhile since i last had a major work done in my teeth. Both Dr. Hack and Katie was awesome in making me feel relax and comfortable. Procedure itself did not take long. They have hightech equipments. It was a painless root canal. No post op pain whatsoever. Everyone is friendly. Great experience. Was referred to this place by my main dentist after confirmation that a root canal was needed. Since I had never ever had one before I was TERRIFIED! BUT I was in so much pain I was willing to go through and pay the hefty fee (lol). It was honestly such an amazing and easy experience. I would recommend this place to anyone with a dental fear or a particular fear of root canals. It was easier than a cleaning!!!!!! The doctor and staff are absolutely amazing! I was able to get an appointment same day which was perfect. Every step they took for my root canal was explained in detail, which helped provide a sense of comfort during what can be a scary process of a root canal. This was a pleasant change because I've never been to a doctor of any sort where my comfort and understanding of the process was so important. I will recommend him to everyone.

Friendly and professional care, especially when you're in pain. Totally reccomend Dr. Mangano for dental surgery needs. Really cares about his patients and the staff even followed up to check on me, days later. Classy!

No one loves a root canal, but my experience today was first rate, I almost slept through the procedure. Everything was fully explained throughout the process, i was very comfortable and confident with Dr Michelle Hack. Thank you for a first rate job

I would pay to give Dr. Hack a 6th star. I am not the best at sitting in a dentist chair. I certainly did not want to be in the chair for a root canal. I was placed at such ease by Dr. Hack (who I had never met before) and her crack team of assistants. She guided me through the entire computer controlled 3D process with easy to understand information. I commented that I nicked myself shaving that morning and had more pain than from my procedure. The office staff was upfront with telling me how much it would cost and they were correct down to the penny. I think I have another root canal coming soon and will walk in to Dr. Hack's office like a man - not a little baby (ha ha). Feel free to track me down and I can elaborate if you wish. Had a great experience at this office! They got me in next day after it was confirmed I needed a root canal. I am a nervous patient but Dr. Moreno and assistant were fantastic. Down to earth and friendly, made me feel at ease. The front desk was diligent in verifying my benefits quickly and followed up multiple times. Which made me feel like they do really care.The office is clean and modern and the chairs were the most luxurious and comfortable chairs I’ve sat in at a dental office. During the Quarantine I ended up needing a possible root canal. My dentist referred me to this office and they handled the re-opening, transitioning, process and maintaining things clean and running it all smooth as if they’d been doing it all along. The staff was incredibly nice from the on the phone, to the assistant and especially Dr. Hack. I can not say enough good things about her. I didn’t know what to expect for a root canal and she made it easier than getting a cavity filled. Her attention to detail, patience with my needs and and friendliness that went along with her Assistant made this a wonderful experience. I’m so glad I went here for this procedure. Awful ~ assistant clamped rubber dam and sliced my gums. Couldn’t tell till novacaine wore off. Mangano drilled through the root into the bone not once, not twice but three times. I was sore for 4 days. Pay attention to the beep beep beep. The faster the beep the closer to the end of the root he is. Those beeps where soo fast and he kept going and going. I now know what it feels and sounds like when they hit into your bone. Pounding and pounding to where I could feel the sticky ping back of him hitting into my bone each and every time I have a hard time knowing that a trained specialist wasn’t aware of his actions. Extremely disappointed in this practice. I stood at the front desk while they ran my insurance and verified that I had coverage (which is excellent coverage $2,000 yearly) my patient portion was $350 which l paid up front before the Procedure started. I received a bill in the mail stating that my insurance had been denied and that I owed over $1500 to this practiceWhich is ludicrous for a root canal. Furthermore he didn’t even put a permanent filling in the tooth they put a temporary filling which had started to fall out. Root canals here are painless, not horror I always heard. Dr. & staff are very nice and informative. I strongly recommend Dr. Mangano.

One of the greatest experiences ever! Dr Hack and Katie went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with the procedure. I felt absolutely no pain and was done in 45 min!!! Felt minimal pain afterwards but was managed with tylenol. I would recommend Dr. Hack. Bedside manner is impeccable!!!!

Dr. Mangano performed a root canal which went well. He was supposed to replace my crown with temporary cement so my dentist could replace the crown with permanent cement. My dentist could not get the crown off, wasting my time and his -- so this entire process has not gone so well.

I had a bad tooth ache. My regular dentist sent me to Dr. Mangano. He worked me in immediately and determined my tooth was dying and scheduled me for a root canal shortly thereafter. Root canal was pain free. He explained everything every step of the way, and I walked out with no pain or after effects.

I have a extreme fear of dentists. Dr. Mangano was very sensitive and responsive to my fear. I highly recommend him.

I recently went to have a root canal from Dr. Moreno. Dr. Moreno and his staff were great. I have a hard time getting knumb so the took the extra time to make sure I had the correct amount anesthesia before he got started.
