Steer clear of this doctor. He dragged out treatment for a wart with scrapping that cost $250 per treatment. He told me over the counter treatments didn't work. When I couldn't afford to go anymore, I bought an over the counter treatment and my wart was gone within a week. It hasn't been back.

Don't attempt to take a kid to this doctor, we took my 10y old there for a ingrown toenail, no explanation about the procedure to warned how painful it was going to be, he had my daughter in so much pain that I regretted big time that I took her there. I would not recommended this doctor to any parent.

I do not understand the bad reviews for Dr. Lavin. I feel that he has given my son the best care concerning a very infected ingrown toe on both his big toes. My son was very anxious and he took his time with the procedure to make sure he was doing ok. If you want quality care then see Dr. Lavin you will not regret it.

Dr Lavin performed a foot procedure on me and was very gentle and the procedure was pain free. I was very nervous before the procedure but he put me at ease explaining what he was about to do and why. He explained how i should care for my foot until our next followup visit. I found a new podiatrist YAY!

500%useless scheduling dept. They are rude and classless. They talk over you. I asked 3x on 3 days the same question and no one bothers getting the answer. Cancelled my appt without ever seeing doctor but he should know his scheduling dept is inept and costing him business.

Dr. Lavin has been my podiatrist for months. Having moved from the north shore to Attleboro I was dismayed by other podiatrist. But, Dr. Lavin is the best. My feet haven't felt this good in years. Thank you Dr. Lavin.

Dr Lavin is always very professional, friendly, and takes the time to answer all my questions. He made some great custom made orthotics which transform each of my shoes. Been a patient of Dr. Lavin around 4 years and I have been pleased with his services. He is careful when working on my ticklish feet and that has been important.

Dr. Lavin is very professional and knowledgeable. I got surgery a few months ago and everything went well. The healing process was quick and my foot feels great. Dr. Lavin is great to work with and I highly recommend going to him for any foot issues.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lavin's for well over a decade. During that time I have received nothing but the best of care from him. He has taken care of my ingrown nails, stress fractures and a broken toe. He has bent over backwards to accommodate my schedule especially when I worked late in Boston and my train was running late. Dr. Lavin is quite knowledgeable, skillful and has a good easy-going "bed side" manner. Great podiatrist! I have been seeing Dr. Lavin for a number of years and have found him to be very knowledgeable, personable and good at what he does. He has made a couple of orthotics for me and other members of my family. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Lavin was recommended by my primary care doctor 7 years ago; I was satisfied with every visit. He made me custom made inserts that helped tremendusly with my heel pain. Although they were not paid by my insurance, they were extremely well made, and I still wear them 4 years later! Dr Lavin is very professional, friendly and always take the time to answer all my questions.

Went for a second opinion. On the first visit he said I needed orthotics for almost $400 not cover by insurance, needed to pay up front. Second visit he fits orthotics then says I need compression socks for $35 again not covered by insurance. At the end of that visit he told me what the real problem with my ankle was. Told me I need to go back to my original doctor. Took as much money as he could from me then sent me away. If he knew the problem he should have told me on first visit.

I have severe rheumatoid arthritis and Dr Lavin was highly recommended by my rheumatologist. I had an appointment scheduled for the same week I called and Dr Lavin recommended custom made shoes which were wonderful. I have seen Dr. Lavin several times for various foot ailments. I have found him to be very professional, caring and informative. He has made orthotic appliances for me that have worked out really well and he successfully treated my other foot problems. I am happy to have found his office.

I have been going to Dr. Lavin ever since I moved to Mansfield over fifteen years ago. If my feet were in pain, the good doctor took care of the problem and the pain soon left. Currently, I require on-going quarterly maintenance. He will schedule a late appointment for me so that I can leave work, drive south on route 128 in heavy traffic and get the maintenance done. I have never had a problem with the diagnosis, treatment or the billing and I have always enjoyed his banter while he worked.
