I tried explaining my medical history and he seemed agitated. He examined me, let a resident in while my exam was taking place while I was in the exam table and my body was turned away from him. I did not even get to see the other doctor prior to this. Totally embarrassed and uncalled for

During a pandemic the waiting room is too small, and the seating is not CDC recommended 6 feet apart. Wasn't brought into the office to see the doctor until 1 1/2 hours after scheduled appointment, had to sit in a crowded waiting room that whole time. We saw the doctor and when my wife and myself asked questions he insisted we were interrupting him. I would not recommend this doctor to cut my nails.

Absolutely horrible bedside manner. My husband went through several surgeries with Dr Blake and they were experimental in my opinion. My husband had a complex fistula and he performed surgeries putting drains in that caused my husband major pain for months then another surgery placing a flap over the fistula that was a fail. Following one of the surgeries he called me and said that he had to "MAKE AN INCISION" but failed to tell us that the incision he was referring to was the size of a vagina that had to heal from the inside out! The photo of that "incision" is something we won't forget. We finally got a second opinion and the entire experience we are very grateful for. The consultation began with a much less humilating exam and much more time explaining everything rather than rushing us out the door. Dr Brown completed a complete fistula removal and my husband is finally pain free and healed after many years of excruciating pain. One surgery to remove the fistula. Thankful.

Absolutely 100% do not recommend. He told me we HAD to get this surgery done to help with a hemorrhoid problem and when I went to the pre op check up he seemed to have no clue what we were doing and proceeded to ask if we should schedule the procedure.... the procedure was already scheduled and was less than a week away. He hadn't even looked at my chart before entering the room. When trying to ask questions about the surgery he became very rude and refused to answer any of my questions and told me the procedure "probably won't even help so he's not sure why I'm even doing it" AFTER PUSHING ME TO GET IT DONE! Not only this but I had already gone through a full colonoscopy to prepare for this surgery that he seemed to just forget about. He treats you like you're stupid. Left my appointment in tears and canceled the surgery.

Dr. Blake is one of the very best surgeons that I have ever known. He did a robotic laparoscopy procedure where he removed 12" of my large intestine. Prior to surgery he explained in detail everything I could expect from the surgery (both positive and negative). Moreover, he followed up consistently and it was very obvious that he really cared about how I recovered. I could not be more pleased or thankful. I highly recommend Dr. Blake.

Dr. Blake was an expert surgeon whom I credit for saving my life. 10 years ago I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. Dr. Blake was quick to take me as a patient, determine a surgical plan, schedule surgery all within a week of diagnosis. His bedside manner, humor and professionalism was beyond expectation.

I had gone to this doc for a second opinion but did not tell him that. He took very little time to do a proper exam and told me we needed to go directly to the surgery route as opposed to banding or other non-surgical corrections. His recommendation was VASTLY different and far more radical than the previous physician's and that's scary. This doctor has the bedside manor of a used dirty pitchfork. NOT recommended. His PA was friendly but I can't say the same for his staff.

I was worked in to the schedule immediately and surgery next day. Dr. Blake explained the exam and surgical procedures. He asked if I had questions multiple times. His staff was friendly and helpful.

The surgery was difficult so I cannot fully assess the somewhat problematic outcome. However, aftercare by surgeon & wound-care team was lacking. Also, no P.A. or nurse in office. Could help to have a G-I experienced P.A. with good listening and collaboration skills. Sadly, I had to change for my next surgery.

My recent experience with Dr. Blake could not have gone worse. This office is the epitome of what’s wrong with our health care system. During the appt. Dr. Blake didn’t listen to anything I had to say and totally dismissed my experience over 10 years. He seemed bored and unwilling to help. It appeared after consultation that the only thing that mattered was starting over from scratch to maximize the billing. I requested a follow up call from him and never got it. Bad customer service and greed.

Dr Blake failed to explain what procedure he would use to examine for a hemorrhoid condition; he caused significant pain during the exam without any benefit of a numbing agent.

My experience with Dr. Blake and his staff was exceptional and professional from start to finish. He was thorough, caring and compassionate towards myself and my family members at the hospital after my surgery in March 2018. I felt I was in very capable hands entirely throughout. I couldn’t have asked for a better, overall situation and most importantly my surgery of resection of my colon was successful and healing process has been as good as could be expected thanks to Dr Blake’s expertise.

Beware of of the Sky Ridge office. We checked on and we were still waiting an hour later. They torture their waiting patients with Soap Opera TV & Talk Shows. When we asked if they could change the channel or at least lower the voice the rude front desk lady with the spiked hair said no and left it at that. When we asked if we would be called soon she said there are 2 doctors doctors and we would be called when they get to us. We asked for our paperwork to leave she screamed at us and we left.

Don't EVER pick this doctor. He refused to continue treating my son in the middle of an extended illness and while he still needed 2 other operations!!! Totally unbelievable and without regard to the well-being of his patient!!! He got his feathers ruffled when we had questions about the surgeries and his scheduling and refused to treat my son, I guess his ego couldn't handle someone wanting to know why things were being done the way they were. BEWARE and STAY AWAY.

Surgery done by Dr Blake on 12/12/16. Follow up appointment today 1/3/17. I had less pain then expected which I believe is due to Dr. Blake's surgical skills and knowledge. His office staff is warm friendly and caring.

Dr Blake is kind and caring. He removed part of my colon and did an excellent job. His office staff is very courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Blake has absolutely no bedside manners. I had scheduled a colonoscopy with Dr. Blake and it was pushed out due to his emergency cases. Because of the length of time between visits, at my Colonoscopy procedure appointment, I had a question, Dr. Blake cut me off before I finished my question and proceeded to yell at me that I was changing the "course of action". Dr Blake did an excellent job of explaining what was going to happen and his recommendations were superb. I knew that I was in excellent hands and was confident in him as my surgeon . His staff was friendly, helpful and answered all of my questions.
