Dr. Kelvin Hamner

I've been going to Dr. Hamner for at least 15 years now and he's always friendly and very thorough. Staff is always nice. He always listens to me and never rushes me. I feel very comfortable with him.

Very very disappointed. You need a new receptionist. I made my appointment a few days ago through Zoc Doc. I received confirmation emails and texts. I had to change the time of the appointment which was very easy to do, as my morning appointment went a little longer than expected. So I arrive 35 minutes early just in case for paperwork sake, and the receptionist said I don’t have an appointment. I pulled up my appointments and she said she sent an email regarding my appointment. I pulled up my spam and normal email, and there was nothing. I feel like she insinuated that I was a liar. I’m upset because it took a lot for me to come to the doctors, it’s been a long time since I’ve been to one. And then this happens. Don’t be on Zoc Doc if you can not keep up with the appointments. I had an appointment scheduled Friday at 8:00 am and to my surprise no one was there. Not even a phone call about it either. Unprofessional team had me take off work for no reason at all.

Funny I’m not sure how I found Dr. Hamner but I’m sooooooooo glad I did....He takes his patients health and over all being very serious...He’s very into preventative medicine which a lot of Drs are not...Preventing Illness before they can begin benefits everyone...I had put off my colonoscopy for several yrs but when I came to Atlanta and Doc recommended I go it done I didn’t hesitate....I’m glad I did since I had a few precancerous polyps...I even have my husband as a patient of Dr. Hamners....His staff is exceptional from the moment you walk to the front window to the back room staff...If there is a issue I’ve never had a problem with the staff helping to resolve it...I would recommend Dr. Hamner to anyone who cares about his or her health....The Doc and staff are top notch in my book.... Missed my last appointment because reminder was sent the day before appointment. No time for me to schedule time off. Wasn't aware of appointment date in advance. Tried to contact office to inform them I wouldn't make the appointment but the office number was disconnected. Need new contact info.

Physician and staff are professional, personable and Dr. Hamner takes time to explain diagnoses, treatment plans, test results and their meaning in layman's terms so that everything is understood. He also takes the time to answer all questions. J. Jones

Dr. Hammer has been my physician over 10 years and he always has a joke and telling me to exercise. He will listen to any concern and explain throughly. I highly recommend him as your Doctor! Sometimes you do feel a little rushed tho as any doctor you just got to slow him down and he will take the time.

I love this office. Dr. Hamner is an excellent doctor and answer all my questions, as well as advise me on what I need to do in order to be in excellent health. He's very patient and kind on every visit. His staff is wonderful as well. Deldra always cheers me up and make me feel comfortable. The phlebotomist is excellent. You won't feel a thing when she takes your blood and your wait time will be short. I truly recommend this office. I love this office. Once I went there with a serious question about an issue I had. Doctor’s response was “don’t do it” -.- then recently I went to have some tests done. called for my results and they said they didn’t test me for what I initially went for. wasted my time and money.

HORRIBLE bedside manor. Was rushed out of the office without important questions answered. Was supposed to be called back within a couple days. 4 calls tho the office and a week later NO CALL. Going to another doctor (already have an appointment)

Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Dr Hamner has been my primary doctor for some time. However when I feel bad enough to go to a doctor I want some recommendations, research on my condition because I don't expect him to know everything off the top of his head, maybe a prescription for a cold, etc, to help with my discomfort. Not a referral to another specialist, when he has not tried as my primary doctor to resolve the situation with patience, and care. This has happen many times.

Every time I've visit this Dr. office, I have been treated well here. The staff goes above and beyond their duties not only to show they care for your health, but you as an individual. This is my first time going to a Dr's office that had closed for day, but they still took the time to provide A-1 service. GOD in HEAVEN knows I am so appreciative of them. Dr. Hamner is a very personal with me. I feel that I can talk to him about anything. I've been a patient for over 20 years. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. I can always call and ask questions. Dr. Hamner is into a healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Hamner gives that special touch with his care that makes you feel as though he's been knowing you for a lifetime. No matter what the illness, he makes sure that he does all in his power to get to the bottom of not only healing it, but preventing it from happening again. At the end of (sometime during) every visit, he won't let you leave without emphasizing the need to EXERCISE! (goodness!) It's what he does... LOVE this Doctor!

I've been going to Dr. Hamner for several years now and I like him a lot. I've never had a problem with the staff, nice atmosphere. Just some days the wait is a little lengthy but overall I enjoy my visits *as much as you can enjoy a Dr. Visit* and I will not see any other PCP
