Dr. Kelly B Nichols

After seeking the medical opinions of two other KC area gynecologists, I found Dr. Nichols via a Google search - no/low infection rates, courteous, informative, compassionate, and with more than 20 years' experience in gynecology. I immediately booked an appointment and was able to get in without any difficulty. She spent time reviewing my chart, records from other providers and discussed my plan of care - listening to my options and providing clinical-appropriate scenarios if I did not take action to move forward. I chose to take action. The pandemic hit and after a 3-year hiatus re-established my care with her. After performing a few diagnostic tests and again, listening to and addressing my concerns, happy to say I chose to move forward with Dr. Nichols. Her nurse, Laurie, is also fantastic! I don't trust my women's health care with any other provider in the KC area!!

Would NOT recommend her to anybody.....

I switched to this obgyn after a bad experience with another obgyn. She reviewed my records and discussed my options. The issue I am having is causing extreme pain. She listened and compassionately understood. We discussed my options and I have a few more tests to complete. Which I respect and fully support. She is looking out for my wellbeing and that is a quality you should receive for someone in the medical field. The staff was nice and you can complete most patient forms online ahead of time, making the in take for new patients easy. She is trying to handle this in a timely manner and that also is a positive. This is the second time we are seeing Dr. Nichols and she has been amazing. The best OB/Doctor I have ever seen. She has grown to be apart of our family and has given us nothing but exceptional guidance through two births and a miscarriage. I recommend Dr. Nichol to everyone I know.

Dr.Nichols is dishonest doctor. I was her patient for ten years. She did not tell me complete ultrasound results. She told me that everything is normal. I learned the truth about my health after I ended up in ER room in 2017. I had two surgery at Mayo Clinic. Filed complaint for malpractice on Dr.Nichols on 04- 2018.She is under investigation by Missouri State Board of Healing Arts. I hope she will loose her license and stop hurting other patients. She did my emergency c section while my original ob was out of town. She was great and I healed perfect with a hairline scar. She was very personable and professional. Really appreciated her .

Dr. Nichols is a very competent and caring physician. She is straight forward and honest about any health complications. She takes the time to answer any and all questions and I have never felt rushed. She was wonderful for my prenatal care, pregnancy complications, my necessary induction, delivery, and postpartum care. I'm thrilled to have her again with this second pregnancy. Bad doctor. She is “old school” doctor with no knowledge about new treatments options. All that she wants to do is hysterectomy, big money for her. Would not recommend her to anybody

I love Dr. Nichols. She delivered 3 of my kids and took awesome care of me before during and after even still! I saw her weekly for every pregnancy from the beginning so I really built a good dr/patient relationship. Would definitely recommend her to anyone! She also helped save my sister during one of her deliveries. She got in there wasted no time and got the job done. She was recommended to us by her. Have nothing bad to say about her.

I would not recommend Dr. Nichols to anybody. She is dishonest doctor. She is under Missouri State Board of Healing Arts investigation right now.

You need to ask to see your medical record and all tests results. She will not give you all information and will put in your chart thing she never tell you about. I was shocked when I saw my medical record. Would not recommend her.

Dr. Nichols is caring and compassionate. She will take all the time you need in an appointment to answer any questions or concerns. She was also fabulous in Labor and Delivery with my induction and delivering my baby.

Dr. Nichols is an amazing OB! She delivered one of my kiddos, and was my OB the entire time too. She is very compassionate, friendly, smart, and personable. She is truly the best OB I have ever had. Thank you Doctor Nichols! ????

Love Dr. Nichols. She is very easy-going, laid back, and personable. She really gets to know her patients and is always willing to listen to questions or concerns. Definitely recommend her.

Dr Nichols is very caring and gentle. She always listens and is interested in what is going on in my life. She is knowledgeable and a great surgeon.
