I have always loved my Doctor. She is a wonderful person and she has always kept up with my problems and my family. My issue lately is that she is slipping. She is not really listening and giving medications based on the issues. I had an issue and she gave me meds that caused a painful condition that lasted months. Her response to me was... "Well, we won't do that again." I needed an apology... I am torn on loving my Dr, but not trusting her like I used to.

Dr. Jacobs very thorough while remaining courteously pleasant. I feel that genuinely cares about her patients. She has twice helped me to avoid serious results had my problems continued. She manages to get me to be honest, frank and clear about my symptoms in spite of potential embarrassment.

I've had Dr. Jacobs since I was younger and she still treats me as such and is incredibly condescending. Dr. Jacobs doesn't have much of an understanding when it comes to pain or chronic pain. She has poor listening skills and never follows through with what she prescribes or says. I would give her no stars if that were an option.

Was the on call doctor. Denied my pain medication refill saying it must not be working since im using it. Said i should go back to using otc meds and get my mri. Clearly didn't look at my chart as the office called last week to say my insurance denied the mri and to go with pt instead. There was no discussion if the pain medication i was using was helping. Which it was helping, not curing. My pcp had stated if that medication wasn't working we would try something stronger.
