Keith Andrew Nichols

Dr. Keith Nichols and his staff are vested in each and every patient's health in every aspect. I have see Keith for most of my adult life. He has always been available, compationate and thorough with each member of my family as well as myself. He takes the time to listen to all of our concerns and has fantastic suggestions and up to date information on all aspects of out health. We all feel comfortable to share insight about our health experiences and daily lives which I feel is important in treating the whole patient. He has never hesitated to think out of the box in order to come up with solutions and treatment plans as necessary. Our experiences have been on a personal level instead of be treated as another number. I can not say enough about my amiration for this practice. I've had to be seen by other physicians in the past and could not say that my experiences have been close to the quality of care that we receive from this entire office. I am 70 years old. I have seen many, many doctors in my time. Not one of them ever matched Dr. Nichols’ COMPASSION. Not one!

All I can really say is regardless of winning a free year of my MDVIP or not, I will never leave Dr. Keith Nichols until he retires. He has done so much for me over the years, from staying up to date on something as serious as my brain aneurysms since 2018, which ended up causing the "worst case of blockage" in the groin area told by the specialist that he sent me to cause of the poor circulation in my right leg that was discovered in my wellness checkup, and also a couple other issues, I have told many people and even him that, "he has saved my life" and it's all because of how thorough he is and he really cares about people like me, he even gave me his cell phone number cuz I was having an issue with my portal to get refills on my prescriptions, he even a few years ago ordered a Copper Fit for my elbow and I payed him for it because back then I couldn't find one. You will never find a better Doctor anywhere in the world is how I feel about Dr. Keith Nichols. Very bad experience with these people. I was seen by Dr. Nichols when I first moved back to Owego, and very much liked his service. I tried to line him up as my primary care doc, but was treated badly by the office manager because I am a Medicaid patient, and was rudely refused. I wanted this doctor bc he sees many of my family members and does a great job. Several years later, I was in need of a prescriber for my medication, and the options are very limited. I called and was never called back, several times. I wrote two letters, explaining my situation and urgent need of his services...I live two blocks from his office and at the time was without transportation, so anywhere else presented a lot of logistical issues. I sincerely requested his services in the most articulate and respectful manner, and was completely ignored both times I sent letters. I feel like at the very least he could have contacted me and acknowledged my request, even if it were to decline me. I felt put off and very disappointed, as if I were a second class citizen. It really hurt my feelings that someone in Dr. Nichols' position could not even dignify my communication with any kind of response. Very bad experience with these people. My doctor left the area, so I called Dr. Nichols' office to inquire about becoming a new patient and to set up an initial visit. I was informed that Dr. Nichols was accepting new patients and it costs $1,600 up front and an additional $1,600 every year to be hos patient! Must be nice to be the only doctor in town. He's apparently just in it for the money.

Dr. Nichols is an amazing doctor, he listen, he is caring, and extremely competent!

If you want your medical doctor to be intelligent, curious, caring and accessible, then you won't be disappointed with the care provided Dr. Keith Nichols and his staff.

Dr. Nichols is the most knowledgeable internal medicine physicians in our area. He makes me feel comfortable and optimistic no matter what condition he is treating.

Excellent caring physician. Extensive fund of medical knowledge. The Doctor communicates diagnostic and therapeutic plans clearly. To me, he's a doctor's doctor and has earned my admiration and respect over 3 decades. Very good fellow.

I have had plenty of doctors throughout my years, but none as smart, dedicated, thorough and as caring as this man. I trust him with my health. He keeps me informed and we work together to stay on track with weight, blood levels and wellness. If I need some issue addressed, I call him. He answers or calls me back. My wife and I have been with Dr Nichols for almost 10 years. The doctor and his staff are excellent with our care. The patient care relationship and understanding of our health needs cannot be compared to the corporate facilities available.

Love this Doc. He even does house calls! Who does that these days?! Highly recommended.

Dr Nichols is very thorough and willing to discuss, in detail, any aspect of your health and is especially good at listening to your questions first and then answering!

Dr Nichols is the most compassionate doctor I have ever been to. He is always there for me wether it is for a mental or physical problem. He goes out of his way to follow up. Can’t thank him enough for being the person he is.

Dr . Nichols is the most caring Dr .Ive ever had. He sees you as a person not $$ signs like every other Dr. Ive been to. He listens to your concerns and hears what you have to say . I believe he truly cares about his patients . Thank you Dr. Nichols!

My wife and I are very happy with the health care Dr. Nichols provides to us. His communication skills are tremendous. His medical knowledge is superb. And, his staff of Jamie and Kathy are awesome as well. Dr. Nichols practice is an amazing comfort to and for our family. Thank you Dr. Nichols and staff!

For many reasons Dr. Nichols has been my family physician for over 30 years. Before people were talking about wellness visits, any appointment with him included a wellness check. When I called thinking I might have shingles even though what I had didn't look like what I saw on the internet, I was given an appointment for 2 hours later--and yes I had shingles and was on meds that day. When my husband was dying, Dr. Nichols came to the house to check on him. What more could one ask for?

I am not a patient of Dr. Nicholes. I have seen him as a patient on several occasions when my doctors were off. I would recommend Dr. Nicholes 150%. He is a very compassionate person and very knowledgeable doctor. If I was to lose my doctor I would try to get into his office as his patient.

Very knowledgeable, thoughtful and kind Doc. Has a very loyal patient base, probably because he tends to take a personal interest in their good health. Dr. Nichols also seems to keep up on the "latest" medical advances, meds and treatments. Would highly recommend.

Called to make a new patient appointment. After being placed on hold, was told there are providers closer to where I live. Needless to say I hung up and did not make the appointment! I will continue to look for a new PCP!
