I saw Dr. Newman for a 5 minute consult consult for my broken foot. The Dr. never laid a finger on my foot, his nurse helped me adjust the surgical shoe he told me to wear. I had to pay cash for the shoe. Got my insurance EOB, they were billed over $500, I'd not met my deductible yet so the bill was on me. Called insurance to find out what billing codes he had used - "in office surgery". Told rep he hadn't touched me at all. They called Dr. Newman right then and said I was disputing the surgery charge. Dr. Newman said he would cancel the bill but he wouldn't see me anymore. So I got fired from him because I wouldn't pay for a surgery he didn't do. Wonder how many other people he has done this too? I'd probably never noticed if my deductible had been met.

The first visit to Dr Newman was ok. It was for my daughter who had chronic ingrown toenails. Our second visit was not good. He was very insensitive to her and her fear of the needles and pain she knew was coming. I was very offended by the way he spoke to my you g daughter. We switched to four wise podiatry in Morgantown and they were very kind and patient with her. They also completely fixed the problem and we have not had to return for ingrown nails again. Dr. Newman is an exceedingly knowledgeable and compassionate physician. Both my partner and I have sought treatment from him in the past for various injuries or ailments, and the care we've received has been consistently exceptional and greatly effective. I cannot recommend him enough.

I have had the pleasure of seeing him twice both he and his staff are very good at what they do. Kind ,friendly do their best to get you in and out.

Fantastic doctor and staff. I am very grateful they were able to get me in so last minute and did a wonderful job.
