Dr. Keith Laurence Jacobson

I’m not going to comment on ridiculous things like copays and deductible since a doctor providing the service has nothing to do with it. Doctor Jacobson is truly a virtuoso at what he does. After hearing so many ankle surgery horror stories, I was shocked how well everything went. Dr. Jacobson made me feel safe and at ease. The prep -op, actual procedure, and post-op were a breeze and there was minimal pain and scarring. I’m still healing, after about a month after surgery everything is far better than I imagined in my most optimistic fantasies.

Dr. Jacobson is very cordial, professional, thorough, and candid! I have a complete understanding of the scope of my issue. I aim to continue appointments/treatments with Dr. Jacobson for as long as medically necessary. If applicable to your circumstance(s), I encourage other potential patients to seek his medical expertise.

I went to see Dr. Jacobson for a broken bone in my foot. He quickly diagnosed the problem and provided an effective non-invasive recovery plan. I am back to walking 4 miles a day.

This was the easiest surgery I have ever had. Everything seems to have gone as well as I would have hoped for. Surgery - no issues. Post surgical recovery - no issues, Physical Therapy - no issues. Getting back to normal life activities - no issues. Dr Jacobson is very high on my chart of thorough, competent, caring and personable surgeons. I hope I don't ever need to use him again, but if my body fails me again in an area of his expertise, I would not hesitate to use his services again!

He was all that I had hoped for. He explained the upcoming procedure and recovery accurately. Before and after he responded to questions I had in a timely manner. His staff was very professional and pleasant. If I ever need foot surgery again he will be my surgeon of choice.

Dr.J has a team that is on top of the details and he is knowledgeable and confident which made me feel good about his plan. He gives you straight talk and I highly recommend him. His years of experience doing complicated repairs are an asset.

Dr. Jacobson has been awesome! He is straight forward yet has the best approach and bedside manner. I am in and out of appointments with all of the information I need. I am so happy that he has gotten me back on track after my injury. I highly recommend him and have nothing but good experiences with the staff.

Dr. Jacobson was unhelpful and rude with his treatment of my foot injury. Either he isn't knowledgeable about what he does or he just doesn't care. Avoid him at all costs if you require foot treatment.

My mother had the ‘Tiger Woods’ injury 3.5 yrs ago at age 84. Dr Jacobson did an amazing job with preexisting diabetes and blood pressure issues. My husband then had ankle bone spurs removed. We are the poster family for his repairs.

He did a great job on my surgery and accomplished everything he set out to do. He was very responsive and answered all of my questions. The only issue I have is his reluctance to submit home health orders. This is my 4th surgery on this ankle and home health orders have never been an issue. Dr. Jacobson was able to get my foot back to as close to 100% as it will ever be! I am grateful for the expert care with my surgical procedure and my more recent appointments. I would highly recommend. His nurse is great as well!

I'm a disabled Vet with major ankle bone problems stemming from military life I have seen many podiatrists and Dr. Jacobson is by far the best surgeon I have experienced. He is direct to the point and does not hold back on what he sees, what he can do and what he cannot do as a surgeon. When I see a doctor I want straight talk and facts, I'm not there to exchange family secrets. I would rate Dr. Jacobson A+++.

Dr. Jacobson is nice and professional, but he absolutely over charges for his services! I am appalled that he charged $445 for a 5minute look at my son's feet. Basically told me nothing to worry about, sent us on our way, and slapped me with a FAT bill.

Dr. Keith Jacobson and his staff are top notch! I have never had a doctor call and check up on me the day after surgery! If you ever have a lower limb injury, this is the first doctor you should call! I also have never seen this much diversity in any medical office! Thank you Dr. Keith!

Dr. Jacobson has been awesome to work with. He was very honest with me about the severity of my ankle injury and what all surgery would entail and recovery would look like. He has spent quite a bit of time reviewing results with my husband and I and making sure we understand the game plan going forward. Highly recommend!

I would not recommend this doctor ever! He "performed" surgery on a bunion and hammer toe 2008. My foot is deformed and I lost half of my toe. He had no remorse and his remark, I should get a discount when I get a pedicure. Really???!

Awesome experience! Quick, accurate diagnosis, painless shot and out the door! Couldn’t walk for over a month. Just finished up 6-miles today. Appt was yesterday.

I had a catastrophic ankle and lower leg injury 13 years ago that got fixed at the time, but we knew that one day I'd have to get my ankle replaced. Dr. Jacobson was the first doctor that I found that was willing to do the surgery. I have seen 5 other orthopedic doctors over the last ten years and none of them wanted to do it because conventional wisdom was that I was too young (early 40's), and that I was too big (6'6" 275). Dr Jacobson knew exactly how to handle any issues that might arise from that, and fixed my ankle the week after my first appointment. My ankle before the surgery was so bad that I literally couldn't walk at night, even after just a normal day of activities. Three months after the surgery, I am pain free. I cant say enough great things about him and his staff. He, in every sense, quite literally gave me my life back and I am so grateful.

Avoid this place like the black plague. Especially Dr Keith Jacobson. Almost every review others have posted have said how rude and arrogant he is, and I fully agree. However I will add that he is a sloppy surgeon. He "repaired" my ruptured Achilles tendon. The office gave me no post-surgery instructions on how to care for the enormous and deep incision except to "put band aids on it." As a result my incision got infected. When I called the office and sent in a photo the doctor just said "Tell her that is normal. Tell her that is fine. Tell her that is okay. " 8 months later and after biweekly PT sessions, I saw a better doctor at the Steadman Hawkins clinic who then reopened my entire Achilles again to fix the sloppy work that Jacobson did. The hardware installed was protruding which caused constant pain and my Achilles tendon was 4 times the thickness it should have been. So I endured a second very painful and expensive surgery. Dr Jacobson is a terrible surgeon.

Dr. Keith Jacobson is very bad surgeon. After hammer toe and bunion surgery with him i'm disable, living with pain. I'm not recommending him .

Dr. Jacobson has been outstanding throughout my surgical procedure and recovery. He is very caring, smart and is involved in the care of his patients.

Dr. Jacobson was professional and personable. However the orthodics weren't correct and I was to be charged another 30 or 40 dollars to have them fixed. I felt the initial payment was quite sufficient and it wasn't my fault they didn't fit.

He repaired my ruptured Achilles’ tendon 3 years ago and it still works great and I am able to play pickleball . Also he prescribed an orthodic for my right foot that stopped the pain in my big toe joint

Excellent surgeon will not steer you wrong, everything is up front. Great follow up and patient friendly. Extremely professional. I’ve had many surgeries mostly for accidents and would not hesitate to see Doctor Jacobson or any doctor in this practice. This practice is very Veteran friendly accepting most major insurances and Tricare!

I tore my Achilles playing soccer and this was my first major injury ever. Prior to this injury I had never had surgery, so I was super nervous. Dr. Jacobson was amazing and took the time to make me feel calm and confident about the surgery and the recovery months following. Dr. Jacobson was the reason that I healed so well. Whenever I was at Physical Therapy, all the people could say was how little scar tissue I had and how much motion I had right from the start. They attributed this to his amazing work repairing my Achilles. Would definitely recommend him to anyone going through a similar injury. I am currently at 6 months with no scar tissue and am able to lightly jog. My ankle feels and looks like it did prior to this injury.

5 years ago Dr Jacobson did surgery on my bunion and hammer too . Very bad doctor, very poor job. I'm still like disable. i will NOT RECOMMEND this doctor.

My experience with Dr. Jacobson was excellent. After diagnosis and different attempts at treatment plans we did need to do surgery. He was very good about listening to what I had to say and explaining exactly what would be happening. He is a doctor I would highly recommend to anyone with foot problems.

Dr. Jacobson is brilliant! I appreciate his knowledge and surgery has not been his first option the times my Family has seen him. In fact, I took my teenage daughter to him for a second opinion when surgery was recommended. My gut did not believe this and I was so happy to have found Dr.Jacobson whom was in agreement of no surgery. I recently broke my toe , once again I went to him for a second opinion......He reset it and made sure that it was straight so that it would heal well. Dr.Jacobson is now my go to Foot Ankle Doctor no more second opinons from him. Just the facts and the path to health. I seek out Doctors like Doctor Jacobson. I want to be listened to, educated, told how to take proper care of my injury so that I can heal properly. I appreciate Doctor Jacobson's expertise and I feel confident anyone in my family from 16-90 years old are in good hands and he will listen and discuss his findings. I ruptured my achillies in May and just completed my last post surgery appointment. Having been with Advanced Orthopedic from injury, through surgery and recovery, I can honestly say this was the best experience with a doctor, medical staff, and office administration I have ever experienced. Scheduling was a breeze, there is ample parking, a comfortable and spacious waiting room, well staffed, so I never waited more than a few minutes, beautiful maintained facility, and most importantly - quality medical care. The billing was managed well, never had a problem (and medical billing is a nightmare). My surgery was promptly scheduled and I was well informed and educated by my doctor, Dr Jacobson, and his fantastic Medical Assistant Kiana. It's an awful injury and a long recovery. Choosing a great surgeon and being supported by a knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional staff is EVERYTHING! I'm three months out from injury and in physical therapy. Dr Jacobson is very professional, answers all my questions and I felt very confident in his diagnosis, surgery, and followup appointments. Very satisfied with my course of treatment.

Dr Jacobson performed an ankle replacement for me just over two years ago. His bedside manner is outstanding and he truly cares about his patients. He takes whatever time you need to address your concerns. While the ankle replacement didn’t turn out as “normal “ as I had hoped it was not because of anything he did wrong. I no longer have the pain I had so am pleased with that. I would highly recommend Dr Jacobson.

Dr. Jacobson repaired my weber B fracture with minimally invasive surgery. After reading similar cases on websites, I was worried I would never fully recover to the active status I was prior to the accident. Because of Dr. Jacobson, I recovered 100% and barely even remember I had a broken ankle accept the times I see the small scar. Dr. Jacobson was actually my second opinion and I'm glad I saw him as he and his office seemed far more competent and friendly. Thank you Dr. Jacobson!

I would never recommend Dr J. He is arrogant and does not listen to his patients. My daughter had 3 surgeries with him for ankle problems- first fix, then another fix, then a revision. Each time she told him something was wrong, but he wouldn't listen. Each time she was right. He either doesn't know how to manage pain or doesn't care to after surgery. We had to call and beg for more pain meds, his response was "it's going to hurt." After complaining of unbearable excruciating pain after the 3rd surgery, we went and saw another doctor. They immediately knew something wasn't right. She had a bone infection and had to endure another surgery as well as months of IV antibiotics. I see another doctor in the practice for pain management, and he is amazing. Kind, considerate and listens. Dr J is nothing like him, he even had the nerve to put his hand in my face to stop me from talking! We should have seen someone else then, but we didn't. There are so many other great doctors out there- Find someone else. I would never recommend Dr J. He is arrogant and does not listen to his patients.
