Dr. Heinzerling has had major positive impacts on my life. He’s a great guy and really cares.

This doctor is an epitome of a model physician. Dr. Heinzerling dedicates his time to meticulously explore all the options towards the patient's wellness. He spent at least an hour for the initial consultation and ample time for each session thereafter to optimally map out my treatment. I have found this quality to be rare among the majority of physicians whom I have ever met. Dr. Heinzerling responds to every email nearly immediately in a highly satisfactory manner.

Keith Heinzerling is a caring, responsive doctor who not only got me off opioids but also helped me get through an unexpected surgery after I was off. He always responds and is available to listen. I’m not sure I could have done this without his knowledge and caring.

It was just a consult of my own accord, I was not referred, he ruined my medical records just in the consult! He broke a patient confidentiality agreement and his own word to keep everything we discussed private. This doctor must get some advantages by revealing patients. He is uncaring and dishonorable. I feel bad for very desperate patients who are in his care! Everyone else stay far away from this monster!

Poor listening skills, is in the wrong profession. Refuses to take feedback. Creepy. Avoid.

Dr. Heizerling was a valuable support physician who helped me get off opiate medications.

We initially had good experience with Dr. Heinzerling, but at the end of my daughter's time with him, especially on the last visit, he was very unprofessional, and clearly did not know how to handle a distraught patient (and given that he is an addiction specialist, this was surprising) - making disparaging, demeaning comments / refusing to talk to me (mom) or her therapist. He literally said "Stop crying before you leave -- I don't want other patients to see you". Do not recommend at all.
