Didn't have to wait long to be seen. I like the personal service that I get from Dr. Durst.

Excellent - now that covid is over; back to seeing patients in the office. Great care, compassion and sense of humor.

Always understanding

Dr. Kay and Coleen are amazing however the staff that answers the phone are very rude. They need some extra training on being polite and respectful to the patients.

Dr. Kay is one of the smartest and thorough doctors with whom I’ve interacted. She has been my teenagers’ PCP since they were 4 and 5. My spouse is a speciality physician and I have an advanced degree in a medically related field and we trust her implicitly. I referred a friend there whose symptoms were dismissed psychological by several other physicians when lab tests showed no abnormalities. Dr. Kay didn’t like what she felt and what she was hearing despite the normal labs, so she ordered a biopsy, ultimately diagnosing thyroid cancer. MThanks to her early intervention, my friend made a full recovery.

Kay is the best! caring, attentive, knowledgeable. i trust her implicitly!

I moved here from Greenville several years ago. I found a family doctor in the area, and then in one year her husband was transferred to another state. I had to find a new Dr. again, and remembered Dr. Kay Durst from years ago when we rented a house on IOP. So, I made an appointment. I brought a list of all my medications that I had been given since I moved here. In the first 2 years I had a brain surgery and then a back surgery. When she walked in the door, she started to yell at me. It became clear to me that she thought I was going to different doctors to obtain pain killers. I understand that people do that, but she SCREAMED at me to show her my scar. I showed her both scars. I never met her until that day, and years have gone by, and I can't shake off how I was treated. (I am 78). Aren't we innocent until proven guilty?

First, wait times are always ridiculous. Even when I'm on time for an appointment, I'll easily wait for 45 minutes. Second, I called about a month ago asking how I could obtain my medical records because I was traveling out of the country and needed to check my immunizations. I was told that "It's been a while since you had a check up and Dr Durst will definitely want to see you first". I explained that I currently don't have health insurance, and can't afford to come in for a check-up I don't need or want, I just need to know what immunizations I have. No solution was offered to me as to how I could get my own records. This is definitely a HIPAA violation. Third, I used to love to see Colleen the PA. She was attentive, listened when I spoke, and I always felt that I was getting very personal care with her. I guess the practice changed how they ran, and now I no longer see Colleen but see Dr. Durst herself. I don't have the same experience with her. Time for a new GP. Long time patient of the practice. She's an excellent doctor, very thorough Has the amazing medical attribute of LISTENING to her patients. Assistants appear well trained, understanding, patient.

I found Dr. Durst to be incredibly knowledgeable and empathic. Her staff were professional, organized, and helpful. Strongly recommend this practice.
