came in for a colposcopy and ended up getting guilted by dr walker for not wanting to have kids?? so unprofessional and rude

I have since switched doctors but there was a number of red flags - she told me she NEVER lets a baby go past the due date (often 1st time mom's do), I asked about how induction is harder labor and she said it didn't matter, labor hurts anyway. I kept on being canceled for emergency appointments but then rescheduled and having to sit in her office for her hours. I HONESTLY LOVE THIS OFFICE. THE STAFF THERE ARE SO SWEET AND DR WALKER DOESN'T RUSH YOU; SHE TAKES HER TIME AND SHE IS SO SWEET.

I’m so impressed with Dr. Walker’s care. She’s patient and caring when listening to my concerns. I had a biopsy and she let me know the four grades possible after analysis and what to expect with each. We covered a lot of ground in my latest appointment, she gave me a road map of what to expect when I enter menopause, supplements I can and should be adding to my regimen, and more. She’s the best! She was the available doctor when I had an emergency surgery. Her team was not sure WHETHER OR NOT SHE TOOK MY OVARY during surgery. One nurse told me she had to remove it, Dr. Walker assured me otherwise. I had to go get imaging on my own to find out whether or not I STILL HAD MY OVARY. That's how disorganized. When I had my follow up appointment with her after surgery I waited for 90 MINUTES to have her rush through -- absolutely no joke -- 5 MINUTES with me where I was unable to get out any questions or concerns. The worst experience I've ever had with an OBGYN. Would rate lower if possible. Dr. Walker will bring in laminated pages of medical research and force you to read it out loud to her, then ask you if you understand. Since it's medical research, you likely won't, so you tell her no, then she condescendingly tells you basically she won't be rendering services you never even asked for in the first place (in this case, a pap smear). This doctor literally goes out of her way to be mean. I'm not even posting the half of it because I keep exceeding the character limit. But I'd be remiss not to include the fact that her staff is also incredibly incompetent and just as rude. I walked out of this office in tears. Do not go to Dr. Walker. Dr. Walker will bring in laminated pages of medical research and force you to read it out loud to her, then ask you if you understand. She lacked bedside manner and patient sensitivity.

It is a God send to walk into this doctors office. The staff is super friendly and gracious. The doctor sat down with me and thoroughly explained my ultrasound results and what it indicated. I feel like she’s lazy.. she seems to comfortable just seen pregnant women.. when a challenge patient come she is quick to dismiss.. I’m very disappointed in her actions

I had Dr walker for my daughter now 10. at first she was great - then she induced me.....no was in labor for FOUR DAYS... of course this was my first child so I didnt k5nkw any better... she never showed up... never said hey maybe this is bad... it started thursday now its saturrday maybe we should try something different?? well I had her sunday. .. she cut me stem to stern... I called for my post BIRTH visit and said... hey I think there is something wrong.... she said she can't she you for 4 months.... I begged...no cried.... I got in after 3.5 months.... she said I don't even need you to take your clothes off.... I had TONS OF STITCHES PEOPLE!! THEY HAD BECOME INFECTED AND I WAS I PAIN I told her, I told the front desk people, told her nurses nobody cared... gave up went to someone new. I went to get a new referral for new insurance. . they gave me her name. I told the story. I tell this storybto anyone who will listen.. DO NOT GO TO THIS WOMAN... This doctor is extremely robotic and does not care about your actual problems. She was very rough during my Pap smear. I expressed that my medication was giving me acne and she said to put rubbing alcohol on my skin. (Which causes wrinkles) Her staff is incompetent. I am always trying to get ahold of them to refill my prescription (I don’t know why they do not give out full year prescriptions) also the staff told me it is not their job to call patients and set up appointments...... seriously. I was admitted into Huntington over the weekend for a miscarriage. Walker was on call doctor. She enters my ER room and tells me the list of her specialities. Then she proceeds to talk about controceptives. I was confused and disappointed. I am dealing with a miscarriage and Walker doesn't address it until I mention it. Even then she doesn't have much to say about it. It was the strangest visit from a doctor. She had me stay over night to check my levels. First thing in the morning she calls the hospital to find my levels have dropped. I was ready to be discharged. I was not given any after care advice and went back to work the next day. Unfortunately that was a bad decision I made on my own. Doctor's complain we use Google MD for assistance. Now I complain we have useless doctors. Anyone can be trained to read a chart and lab results. So grateful for midwives. Sad to say Walker is a doctor that doesn't really care for patients. Dr. Walker took me through two pregnancies - she was great start to finish!

I saw Dr. Walker last week. I am so please with my first time visit. The 3 office staff are so professional, kind and courteous. Dr. Walker is detailed and very understanding. She was very patient and took the time to explain my medical issues. I will definitely recommend her to my family and friends.
