Dr. Williams is a brilliant surgeon. She was patient with me, answered all my questions. She kept me informed before, during and after my procedure. She is also very honest, never telling me anything but the truth. I am very happy with my foot surgery. HORRIFIC! Never in my life have I ever been treated so poorly. A previous reviewer said that Katie had a "dry sense of humor", when she actually has NO sense of humor whatsoever. This woman truly terrified me! I also felt as though her poor resident was also terrified of her. She has ZERO personality, NEVER smiles - EVER, and she doesn't appear to care about people in general. Her "bedside manner" is nothing short of ABUSE. She is incredibly defensive, gets irate over challenging questions and rolls her eyes when when attention is brought to her unprofessional behavior. Katie is very clearly, incredibly insecure and mentally unstable. She very closely resembled the character of Amy Dunn from the movie Gone Girl. Calling her an "ice queen" would be a gross understatement. I would not wish this woman on ANYONE. If I could give ZERO stars I would. I will be going to Meriter instead. HORRIFIC! I have absolutely NO COMPLAINTS! I had an ankle replacement done with Kate and would absolutely do it again. I was told by my friend who also had his done by her to do everything she tells you to do. Dr Williams did a very complicated surgery on me and I turned out great! During the last five years I have gone from hiking with my dog and walking 18 holes for golf to barely able to walk. She is top notch, and was all business during the first consultation visit. She explained everything thoroughly and answered any questions that I had. I would highly recommend her! I have an osteochondral lesion on my ankle from an old ballet injury. Dr. Williams was the first doctor I saw who actually understood ballet. I could have surgery to address the problem, but she did not recommend it because I have little pain and surgery likely would not improve the situation. I like honest doctors that don't push unnecessary surgery. She has a dry sense of humor and a couple of times I thought, "Is she making a joke?", because her demeanor was so subtle. Dr. Williams was very understanding of my unique situation and took the time to look at all of the options and help decide which one worked best for me. She did a great job explaining the injury before the surgery and clearly communicating what the surgery would entail.
