Kathleen Sarah Stokes

I’ve been seeing Dr. Stokes for years & have the highest respect for her. I’ve referred many friends to her with the caveat that she’s not warm & fuzzy, but she’s the best dermatologist around. I recently saw Dr. Stokes for a plethora of things I was concerned about & that needed treatment. I had filled out all of the forms online in the portal prior to my appointment. The intake assistant was very thorough about why I was there & documented it in my chart. When Dr. Stokes came in, we discussed why I was there, she commented, “Well, we are not going to be able to get to all of that today.” My appointment seemed extremely rushed & I felt really uncomfortable for the first time. When she was done with me, she advised I could get dressed & the nurse would be in with instructions or any questions. The nurse never came back. After sitting there awhile, the assistant advised I was done & could leave. I left with written instructions and felt very uneasy about the visit. I still feel worried.

Dr. Stokes is one of the best dermatologists in the area. She was caring and very professional. She explained the procedure and took time to listen to me. I would highly recommend her.

I was disappointed with my appointment with Dr. Stokes. The appointment started with her entering the exam room quickly, moving past me with an abrupt hello while making no eye contact. She then turned her back to me and stared at her papers on the counter. During the exam I felt like she brushed off my concerns and didn’t do a thorough job in looking at my skin, especially the things I specifically asked her to look at. She scribbled prescriptions on a piece of paper, and then left in the same cold manner in which she came in. I left the appointment feeling no better than when I came in - maybe even a little worse. I do not recommend Kathleen Stokes.

Dr. Stokes is the best around . She is never on time and is not the sweetest person you will ever meet. But I am not looking for a friend, I want a great doctor and she fits the bill.

I have seen Dr. Stokes for over 20 years. She has given me excellent care for a number of issues. She takes time to listen. She also has referred me to other doctors for other conditions. She is excellent.

Dr. Kathleen Stokes is an outstanding, compassionate and knowledgeable dermatologist. She is a truly caring physician and always thoroughly explains any procedures. Her bedside manner is impeccable. Her office is very clean, neat, and organized. She is current in technology, and her staff appear to be very satisfied with their newer equipment. Having seen her in the remote past and again in June 2018, Dr. Stokes is always very patient as she calmly addresses any concerns. I feel relaxed and comfortable in her presence. She is very respectful to her patients and others. Additionally, she came very highly recommended to me by nurses! In regards to people making unfounded comments regarding health care provider wait times. Physicians/health care providers have responsibilities and duties that carry a profound degree of importance. Doctors are continually being interrupted with emergencies, urgent phone calls, and their days are extremely busy and varied. Some patients come in with several deficits, require more time and cannot be hurried. These varying and other factors change the courses of physicians' days. People need to consider this when going to see a physician. When you opt for a great physician, urgent cases can get added on to their schedules because they are in such high demand and their superior reputation gets around. Plan ahead when making appointments and make proper arrangements as you would for other important priorities. To me, an outstanding physician is worth a wait. I have seen Dr. Stokes for over 20 years. She is very knowledgeable and takes time to listen. You never feel rushed. She has helped me with some chronic conditions.

I always felt rushed and never felt I was diagnosed correctly. I finally went to another doctor and was diagnosed correctly immediately.

Dr. Stokes bullied me to remove a congenital mole she removed 2 yrs prior but had grown back. Insisted she didn’t remove it prior & another Dr had as it was not “her work” I had her check her PC & it showed I had it removed but since there was no picture, “she had not done it” She insisted it was cancerous & that I’d have to sign a form if I didn’t remove it again. I let her do it & once again result came back normal & has since started to grown back...nature! She makes $ on procedures. Be wary!

Dr. Stokes is excellent; my primary care doctor and his doctor friends all go to her because she is the BEST in Milwaukee area.

Dr. Stokes needs to connect more with her patients and is not warm and welcoming. She has a tendency to make you feel like you are taking too much of her time and that certain concerns as a patient are pushed aside rather than her collaborating with you to really understand your concerns as a patient. The front desk receptionists at times seem unhappy probably due to this type of treatment.

Dr. Stokes was Awesome! She knew exactly what my condition was when other doctors were lost. She was incredibly thorough with the process of "official diagnosis" and treatment. She is one of my favorite doctors!

Worst clinc i ever seen

No respect for time my appointment was 3:30 pm and now it's almost 4:30 still waiting ,,,,, never recommend it

I love everything about Dr. Stokes. She is professional, knowledgable, kind & pleasant. I feel very comfortable with her. I will continue to see Dr. Stokes and will recommend her to others.
