Dr. Kathleen K. Appleman

I’ve gone to Dr. Appleman for several years now and she has always taken excellent care of my feet, would recommend her to everyone.

This rating is for the office staff, specifically the front desk receptionist who answers the phone. I cannot physically rate the 2 doctors themselves, as I have not seen them. Over the weekend, I visited the urgent care with a severe toe injury. The NPN stated it was the worst she'd seen in the 15yrs she'd been an NPN. Due to the severity of my injury, she said I must see a podiatrist within 2-3 days. I was then referred to Dr Appleman's office. I called the office and was told I couldn't get in until after mid August. I called the office back and explained my situation and the importance of why I needed to be seen as soon as possible. I was then told by the receptionist that I should "look in the phone book" and "just do what the UC recommended" i informed her that is why I was calling. She then hung up on me. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service and compassion. Its unfortunate bc I know both doctors are great. I will not be recommending any of my clients.
