Mrs. Katherine Mary Young

Katie has been treating my husband and I both for 4-5 years. She discovered conditions I had nobody had found for well over 20 years. She's been great with me and the only time I see someone else in her practice is when it's an emergency and she's not available.

Always long wait time in office. As a result I found her manner impatient and abrupt rather than calming and professional. I will not see her again.

She did a great job with my annual physical (which I hadn’t had one for a very long time pre-Covid). Got me back on track with my cholesterol and thyroid. She is open to questions and reviewed my results with me which was nice. So glad to find her!

Waited 45 min and had my wiggly 4 yr old with me watching a show on my phone. Katherine walks in and just says over and over “I can’t!” referring to the noise the phone was making. I turned down the volume and explained my issue. Did not felt heard or understood and was prescribed something that was not the correct medication for the issue I was dealing with.

Waited in the patient room with my 4 yr old daughter for 45 minutes. She was watching a show on my phone while we waited. Katherine walks in and first thing that she says over and over is “I can’t!” referring to the sound of my daughters show. I turned the volume down and explained the issue I was having. She didn’t really look at me and I felt unheard. She prescribed medication that did not at all match the issue I had. She is rude, doesn’t really listen and wasn’t helpful.

Disappointing visit with Katie. She didn't make me feel understood or heard. If you are looking for someone to engage with you and show care, I'd keep looking.

Rude, rushed, impersonal and inattentive. Late. Doesn't listen to patient concerns, just parrots a memorized script.
