Dr. Katherine Lynn Walker

I’ve seen Dr. Walker over the past year or so. I decided to leave because I felt she didn’t have enough knowledge about diabetes. Our first visit she seemed overwhelmed. Also, her PA was difficult. And I always had to wait 45 min over my appt time! And only saw Dr. walker for about 5 minutes after the wait. Not an ideal experience.

So disappointing when I invested a lot of time and money in her. Moving from a different state is difficult and so is finding a good Dr. If you’re looking for one, keep looking!

She is truly an amazing physician. Always listens, explains everything in detail without rushing, suggests natural remedies if applicable, answers questions. Very good with teenagers as well. The whole office staff is awesome at this place. Very much recommended.

I have been seeing Dr. Walker for over 15 years. She takes the time to get to know her patients and truly cares about them. I never feel rushed when I see her.

Dr. Walker is just fantastic, and the staff at Hopelight medical clinic are attentive and kind. She is attentive, professional, friendly, up on current research and practices, and the Hopelight clinic is fast and efficient without feeling rushed. Not sure about the off-character review here; perhaps the individual misinterpreted or misunderstood. Love that Hopelight also provides low-cost services to those in need! Outstanding all around.

Dr. Walker is a rare find indeed!! She is so professional and dedicated. I highly recommend her as a family physician. Thank you for your loyalty and incredible talent Dr. Walker!!!!!

Dr. Walker made a comment to my 17-year-old son that could be considered sexually suggestive. I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt on that one, but she also made a joke that was definitely inappropriate given the setting (a clinical setting like her office). It is for these reasons that I cannot recommend the doctor. I'm a little old fashioned but certainly not a prude. I'm genuinely sorry to have to be writing this review, but I thought that other potential patients should know.

When Dr. Walker left the Milestone Family Practice I stayed on there with another physician as they could not give me any information on where she had moved her practice to. A couple of years later I found her again. So glad I did. She is the best. Caring and compassionate. So easy to talk to.

I have been a patient of Dr. Walker for a few years now. I am treated with respect and consideration in the office. She has always been very thorough in my visits and yearly check-ups. She calls me personally to supply results from tests, its not the staff who contact me. I feel very comfortable with her- and feel i am getting the best care possible- I will continue to see her as my PCP!

We have been seeing Dr. Walker for at least 5 years. She is a great doctor and she always pays attention to details. She listens and pay careful consideration of your condition. She always explains why certain things need to be done but never pushes you to do it. She is respectful of her patient's decisions. Dr. Walker has been my doctor for 11 years. She is thorough and effective as well as being genuinely warm and respectful. She keeps careful notes and refers to them in detail . She truly does listen and is thoughtful and informed in her recommendations and in addressing my concerns. She always takes the time to explain the reasons for her decisions and prescriptions. Dr. Walker is wonderful! She is very meticulous and informative. She will walk you through exactly what she is doing, why she is doing it and makes sure you are comfortable at all times during your exams. She has answered, in depth, questions I have had about ailments, side effects or long term effects of medicines, injuries and diet/exercise.
