I am an existing patient. Told I could only book as new patient since it’s been 3yrs (was told by Dr. Farady to come back for scans every 3yrs). Billed as new patient visit even though medical history, insurance, address, etc… all the same in the system. Attempted to have me pay upfront before billing insurance. Pulled up my previous visit to show insurance covered most of visit. Ended up billing through insurance. Confusing and suspicious. Actual visit with doc, 5-stars.

Friendly check in, friendly assistant and friendly doctor!

Very efficient and friendly. They answered all my questions and I even left with samples to help me.

Staff is courteous. Dr. Farady has always been thorough in checking for abnormalities of the skin and has been very professional. I will miss her when she retires and will look forward to seeing the new staff.

As their new patient, Dr Chu and PA David took their time with me, carefully evaluating all my concerns. Excellent office staff. Good experience overall.

Just saw Dr Chu and he was great - very thorough and personable. The whole office staff was. I will definitely go back when needed

Staff was pleasant, and attentive. Dr. Cadmus was friendly and took care ofmy needs and advised me as to possible future needs. The onlything which I experienced was a longer than expected wait time before seeing the doctor. However the staff did apologize for the delay.

I haven't been here since Dr. Farady left left the practice (which bummed me out), but I absolutely love the staff and Dr. Cadmus is amazing!! I'm so happy I didn't go to a different office. Dr. Cadmus was thorough, and extremely helpful, as she AND the staff stayed after hours to help with a surprise procedure.

Physician and PA & Nurses are diligent and alert for unusual conditions. They and their support staff are courteous good listeners and answer questions frankly. For more than 12 years as a patient I’ve always been satisfied with their expertise, skill, and treatment. Without hesitation I recommend these exemplary health-care professionals.

This office 'says' and states on their website that they take insurance. It's NOT TRUE - they're Out of Network - for ALL insurances, yeah they'll send a bill, but you might not get coverage even if you have 'good' insurance and have met your Out of Network deductible. Mine is incredibly high, $5k per yr. so I avoid OfN places. I asked the receptionist over the phone if they accept insurance, they said 'Yes', but to most people that means are you in network, not do you send a nearly $400 bill for a 15min appointment to my carrier. I'm also getting this bill from some conglomerate from San Antonio (not mentioned anywhere in their website). Buyer beware of the headaches and high costs of this place.

Didn’t feel like they took enough time to adequately diagnose me - sent my medication to a pharmacy that doesn’t accept certain prescriptions so I had to call and hunt down a place that did - no follow up calls or check ins - and to top it all off it was rather expensive even after insurance All in all a very poor experience would not recommend

My visit today was amazing. With it being my first time at a dermatologist, I was a little nervous as to what to expect; especially having dark skin. Dr. Cadmus was very thorough, knowledgable, and personable. She put me at ease and answered any questions I had. David and Dr. Cadmus both made this visit enjoyable, and I left feeling encouraged about my new skincare regimen!

My appointment with Dr. Cadmus was a veritable joy. She is personable, efficient and very thorough. I came away grateful for her thoroughness and pleased with the conversation we had while she was examining my skin. I can recommend her highly.

Have been with Dr. Farady for a couple of decades. She’s an excellent dermatologist who even kindly listens to (barely related?!) other “issues.” While I’ll be sad not to see her as my dermatologist when she retires, of course I’m happy for her…AND I s’pect I’ll still be in (new! And) good dermatologist hands at this office.

Not a fan! They started with me 30 mins after my appt time, it wasn't busy. It was NOT my first time there yet they charged me as a new patient; said it was because it was the my first time at that location which if I had known I would have gone to the other location. But most importantly as a patient, I went in for rosacea, Dr Kimmel barely even looked at my skin, she put on a glove to touch my face in one spot and then explained what she would prescribe. They use a compound pharmacy that apparently takes 48 hours to get you your medication which is ridiculous. Let's just say my two previous dermatologist in other cities were completely amazing and were quick to provide needed medication and didn't use gloves but rather washed their hands before and after a skin examination.(granted if I had had something contagious or oozing or gross then the gloves would be understandable) Not a fan! The wait time getting into my appointment was quite long. However, when I got into the room and met with the doctor I had one of the best dermatology appointments. The nurses and doctor took the time to really listen to and address my concerns. They were efficient, friendly, and wonderful. I went mid day and there were a lot of patients there, which made the wait time longer. But when my husband went first thing in the morning he got right in and out. Dr. Kimmel spent time to make sure I had a quality appointment. Thank you! Scheduling was easy as well. I will 100% be returning. The wait time getting into my appointment was quite long. I continue to see Dr. Farady as a patient and it is obvious that she has assembled a great young team to pass the baton to when she is ready to ride off into the sunset! She is a wonderful and gifted dermatologist and has served the Austin community well for several decades! I know my father, Dr. Mac Brannen, who retired and turned over the reins to Dr. Farady, is also proud of her and grateful for the service that she has rendered. Dr. Kimmel has been my dermatologist for treating my severe plaque psoriasis since I moved to Austin in 2022. Before that I’d been with the same dermatologist for 8 years, but she and her team made the transition easy and even gave me a medicine change that took me from 90% clear to to 98% clear, which is the best most of us can hope for. Can’t say enough about how professional and supportive this team is. They go out of their way to make you comfortable. I have seen Dr Farady for years with history of skin issues but also recently started using the cosmetic services as I get older. The prices are very good and they do a very thorough job. I highly recommend Dr Chu and Lidija Balic if Dr Farady is not available. Very supportive and professional individuals. Dr. Farady has really built an exceptional team. Been going to Dr. Farady for years for skin cancer checks and cosmetic consultations. She and her team are great and patient with all my questions ????

Unfortunately, I usually have to have a full body skin check due to my melanoma history. Dr. Faraday is always extremely professional and very thorough. I am very pleased with her as my doctor.

Despite running 30 min late, Dr. Farady and David took the time to review all my skin issues and various options clearly and easily. I appreciate their expertise and easy communication about products and procedures in a friendly manner.

I have been suffering with eczema and did a search for a practice that specializes in eczema. This practice does not specialize in eczema at all and I was referred out to Balcones to get a skin test, and told to research and find a place that has a laser that they don’t have. They’re fine. Nothing special for general consultation. If you have a specific need, I’d most likely go elsewhere however. They rush through appointments and have poor staff handoff, so you most likely won’t get insight into your true skin issues here.
