Dr. Markell is a military surgeon at BAMC in San Antonio, TX. She performed a difficult 11 hour laparoscopic colostomy take-down on me. Very talented, kind and caring, Dr. Markell was always available for me during recovery. I felt I was in safe hands throughout my experience and can not thank her enough. This is the surgeon you want if you are lucky enough as I am to have the excellent care of BAMC.
