So I was a patient of Dr. A's as he likes to be called & I thought I hit the jackpot! FINALLY a Dr. who says he can fix me up! Fix me up for a let down is more like it. I thought this Dr. has been on TV & has the tools to help me. More like I was a tool to get him some more $$$. His Ego shows up for appointments 15min before he does (which he is late for surgeries & the nurses HATE). Yes, I said his EGO is so big it gets to destinations before he physically does & it's true. HE knows better than anyone what IS best for you & if you question him ***BOOM*** he blows up & will storm off. He actually YELLED at my Wife & put her in tears during one of my appointments. It was see the PA & pills, see the PA & pills while he opened new offices in Ca.. When he started being investigated for other prescribing issues, he then started cutting off patients after getting them hooked. Seen many patients yelling in there at staff w/ my own eyes over & over. Not enough room to type anymore...

I have only had wonderful care and treatment from Dr. Amirdelfan, his staff, Physical therapists and PA. My injections always go smoothly and I feel he is very honest and upfront with me about care and how best to combat my pain.

Dr. Amirdelfan is one of the kindest men I have had the honor to have as doctor, He listened to all my concerns regarding my treatment and treated me like I was his only patient and was always so sweet to my son who was with me on most visits. I have been seeing the therapy and accupucture ladies and they have been helping me with my pain. They are very devoted and dedicated to their field of expertise and know exactly how to help someone.

My wife saw Ms. Courtney Perry, PA of Dr. A several times and feels extremely happy with her care. She is not only competent in the field of her pain, also possess good bedside(office) manners.

I had a very positive first visit. The staff was excellent and Dr. Amirdelfan very nice and very through took his time with me answered all my question. I'm looking forward to continue my follow up care with him.

Dr. Amirdelfan is a wonderful doctor. He is compassionate and obviously cares about the outcomes that his patients have, and goes out of his way to ensure that they are able to live their lives to the fullest.

I have been coming to Integrated Pain Management for 8 years. I experience extreme chronic pain due to multiple back issues. Dr. Amirdelfan has been my physician since I started coming to IPM. Dr. Amirdelfan has been instrumental in relieving much of my pain. He suggested and implanted a spinal cord stimulator which has alleviated a lot of my lower body pain. He has also helped me to overcome some debilitating headaches, joint pain and neck pain. I highly recommend IPM and Dr. Amirdelfan who has helped me return to a more normal and active life. I saw another pain management office for years and was treated horribly. I didn’t realize there were other options. I wish I would have looked sooner, because I would have saved myself years of leaving every appointment in tears because I was treated like a number, not an individual. Dr. Amirdelfan and his assistants are so helpful, never make me feel rushed, and have helped me get referrals when I was getting a pretty rare condition diagnosed. I started seeing Dr Amirdelfan over in the year 2000 after an automobile accident left me in so much constant pain that all I could do was move from my bed when I woke up to the sofa in the living room where I’d lay, often in tears, until bedtime came again. Sleep, which was shortened and fitful as a result of the constant pain, was my only relief. My GP had referred me to an orthopedic surgeon who was at a loss as to what to do, he was giving me stronger and stronger short acting pain meds in ever increasing doses which were doing next to nothing as far as relief. We discussed a two level fusion which he thought was my best option and I was onboard with that idea, the main problem with that was he wanted to wait another 4 months to perform it. I seriously contemplated suicide on multiple occasions. On one visit when I’d once again run out of my pain meds he told me he’d spoken with another Dr he thought could bridge me to surgery and maybe even help me avoid it altogether. He gave me Dr Amirdelfan’s number and an appointment time for the next day. I had considerations immediately, I’m a recovering drug addict and the pain medication I was already taking scared me quite a bit. Dr Amirdelfan explained to me that being on a long acting medication was ultimately better for me both in terms of my quality of life and my recovery but I was still very worried. I left his office without taking the prescription he said would help and went back to my orthopedic surgeon determined to convince him to try surgery immediately. My orthopedic surgeon fired me that day, left me without a referral or medication and I was devastated. I began calling other orthopedic surgeons in the area but the one I had been seeing had warned them not to treat me, I was at the end of my wits and my rope. Dr Amirdelfan called me the next day to ask how i was and though I’ve never told him this I was planning to end my life that very day. I told him of my surgeon firing me and that I hadn’t been able to find anyone to treat me. His concern was obvious, he asked me to come see him that day, I did and 19 years later I’m still alive and though my pain is still my constant companion he’s made it so I can live with it. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Amirdelfan, I have a lot of health issues in addition to my chronic pain so I see a lot of Drs but he’s easily my favorite. He’s glad to see me when I come to his office and it shows, for someone that sees a lot of Drs that’s an incredible feeling. His knowledge and thirst for more is apparent, it keeps him at the front of his field, always seeking, and finding, new ways to make his patients lives better. His bedside manner is also second to none. He’s warm and friendly and obviously extremely concerned with his patients quality of life. When friends or acquaintances tell me they too are struggling with pain I always give his offices number and tell them to ask to see him even if it means waiting longer for their first appointment. I highly recommend Dr Amirdelfan, being his patient is like having a Dr in your family, one of your favorite family members. I’ve been seeing Dr. Amirdelfan for 15 years and I can’t imagine being seen by anyone else. Dr. Amirdelfan is very good at what he does he also has an amazing bedside manner. He is so dedicated to his patients to the point where he gives up his weekend to give epidural injections on Saturdays.

Due to chronic pain, I have been seeing pain management specialists for over ten years.. Recently, after my longterm pain management specialist discontinued his practice, my primary physician referred me to Dr. Amirdelfan. I had heard good things about him from a number of doctors. As it turned out, reality proved to be even better than my expectations! During my first appointment, Dr. Amirdelfan made it quite clear that — unlike other pain management docs that I’ve seen --he does more than just write prescriptions for painkillers. He proposed a multifaceted approach to my chronic pain, with medication as only a single facet. After informing me that he engages in research in addition to clinical practice, Dr. Amirdelfan explored my willingness to participate in a current research project involving a type of neurostimulator that has proven helpful to others suffering from particularmy chronic ailment. I found Dr. Amirdelfan to be kind, respectful, and very professional. I look forward to a long association with him and with his very pleasant staff. The receptionist is very impolite! Never go to this doctor.

This doctor has his own agenda. He has done nothing but push to put a pain stimulator in my spine where other doctors have said not to do and he fired me today as a patient. Since he only does back injections on Tuesdays and I can not I found a doctor that would. When I told him he said " theres a financial part to this---go have him do the injections and wright your scripts, good luck" and left me sitting in the chair totally lost. It's nothing about his patients, only money and the kick backs from sticking garbage in peoples bodies. He has no morales. This doctor has his own agenda. I would avoid this office and this doctor at ALL COST. It is not worth your time or money to see him. He does not take the time to listen to you or to treat you like a human being. Instead I felt I was interrogated and then told to be quiet despite his invitation to ask questions. It was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. He was beyond unprofessional. He made negative remarks about other physicians I had seen and called my physical therapist an "idiot" because she told me not to exercise when I am in dire pain. I walked out of the office crying because he essentially gave me a script for pain medication and when I asked him about alternative approaches like acupuncture - he first said "sure yeah we can refer you to that but there is no research that supports it helps avoid long term pain." So then I asked him what now and he went on to accuse me of not coming prepared to the appointment with my MRI's and imaging on my injury when no one in his office nor in the paperwork that I received said such. It took three (3) weeks to get an appointment and that was due to his incompetent staff. I should have known better that if his support staff can't do something as simple as schedule an appointment or return a phone call, the doctor they support is probably as inept as they are. Total waste of my time. I recommend that you seek out other doctors in the field of pain management who will treat you with dignity and respect. A place where they actually listen to you and will find a way to treat the underlying condition and not just write you a script for pain meds and kick you out the door. Medication is not the solution to all problems and I genuinely thought with this doctor we were going to be able to explore how I can get better without the use of medication and not be in constant pain. Dr. Amirdelfan was very professional, thorough and personable. Obviously his office is run very well with capable staff. After my examination he spoke with me at length, answering all my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking options for back and or neck pain.

This so called doctor does not care about the well being of his patients, only his wallet. He has tried to push down my throat a pain stimulator that several other doctors have said definitely not to do. Today he fired me as a patient. He only does back injections on Tuesdays and there is no way I can on that day. Found another doctor that can work with my schedule for the injections. Saw Amirdelfan today, told him and he walked out on me. No morales, no class

I have been a patient of Dr. Amirdelfan for 16 years, and I have always been treated with the utmost compassion, professionalism and care. When I first started seeing Dr. Amirdelfan I was 100lbs. Heavier with horrible chronic pain from a failed lower back surgery and a severe case of Osteoporosis. After seeing the doctor only for a short amount of time, he reduced my pain and gave me my life back! Without His help i don't know what I would have done? Most arrogant man I ever met. He just runs patient's thru as fast as he can. He treats his practice and his patient's like a money machine! Don't even think about questioning him! He has no respect for his patient's.

Dr. treats you like a criminal or a drug addict after getting you hooked on pain meds. Doesn't have many options to fix problems, just pills or devices that mask pain. Trying to find another clinic with better bedside manners. Phone system is horrible. Forget about trying to get through or get errors fixed. Don't know if other places any better.

Amirdelfan didn't show up for my first appointment, late to second and spoke rudely about me in the hallway loud enough for me to hear. No patient courtesy and very arrogant. His office staff is completely incompetent - don't return calls, won't release medical records that I paid for, keep billing me for bills paid over a year ago. Worse experience I've ever had with any doctor and office.
