I have to agree with the other reviews. The front staff is always unwelcoming and unhelpful. I always made appointments with Dr Gerbhard, however it was always an assistant who filled in and frankly was never able to do anything other than refer me to specialists, even though the referral wasn’t covered by my insurance. This is the type of office where you have to go to work and fight for your own health, call your own insurance, and do your own due diligence.

Dr. Gephard has been my primary for years. He is very professional, kind, sincere, and very knowledgeable. I trust him and he has helped me in more ways than one. I highly recommend him.

I would strongly urge people to stay away from this doctor. A friend of mine had a terrible experience with his office, staff, and bedside manner.

He is not a patient-friendly doctor, and thinks he knows more about how you feel than you do. Does not listen. Stay away.

I have gone here for 5 years and I’ve always enjoyed Dr Gebhard as my Physician. That’s where it has always stopped, the front desk has been rude for years, I was hoping maybe I always catch her on a bad day but it seems every time I’m in there or call to set an appt or get labs it’s a burden for them. I used to do my annual physicals here with blood work but for some reason the billing desk never has been able to bill it with the correct codes to get insurance to pay for my annual blood test. I was fed up so I tried another drs office, to my surprise all $600 of the blood test were covered by insurance all because they used the right codes when billing it. I don’t know if it is a lack of training or the fact it seems they just don’t care. I highly recommend Dr. Gebhard. He is personable, thorough, and I was impressed by how much time he spent with me. It is refreshing to visit a doctor who really cares. It was also easy to make an appointment and I was seen quickly after arriving at his office.

Karl Gebhard is the most uncaring doctor that I've ever seen.... period! Go somewhere else

I've been with Dr. Gebhard at Ross Legacy Medical Group for over 3 years nad he and his office have always performed over the call of duty. I've never had a problem getting a referral from his office and I've never waited more than 15 minutes in his waiting room. Dr. Gephard and his Physician Assistant, Ellen are always proactive in testing and treatment.

The doctor ended sending me to the e.r quite a few times when he could've done the job himself!!! All I needed was an antibiotic! It was bad experience. Dr Karl never showed up even if I had an appointment with him. An assistant showed up. She introduced herself to me as PA, I did not know what PA means. I was so sick and did not have energy, I just had to say OK. She was asking whether seeing her is OK or not. What Dr Karl did is totally unprofessional. I said the PA that I had allergy to something because my sneeze takes more than 5 minutes. I was expecting her to ask allergy test because it literally kills me. She did not do anything about it. Dr. Gebhard was my doctor for a short period of time and he was fantastic. He really took an interest in my health and the goals I wanted to achieve for myself. Because of his input, I'm living a healthier lifestyle and feel great. Unfortunately my health insurance changed and I could no longer go to him. Karl Gebhard has been my doctor for years! My wife and I searched for him after he separated from the original Ross Family Practice. It took 2 years but we found him again in Mission Viejo. Dr. Gebhard is the best!!! He always take the time to listen. He is extremely professional and truly care about his patients. I have been seen him for over 15 years, and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Gebhard is great! My whole family sees him and he takes time to treat your problems/illness. The staff is great too, very quick and convenient.

The facility is clean and the office staff is friendly . I have never seen nurses so kind. They are some of the best nurses giving shots and blood work. The wait has never been very long. The PA-C, Ellen Boynton was so gentle when stitching my finger. She listen to my fears and provided a non stick pad so the gauze wouldn’t stick to the wound. I am very happy I found this facility.

I'm so happy I was referred to Dr. Gebhard! I had borderline high cholesterol and other doctors would just prescribe meds and it became very costly. Dr. G educated me about healthy eating habits, also encouraged exercise (ugh), but it was cheaper to try to eat better than keep paying for multiple medications. Fortunately, I was able to lower my cholesterol to where I didn't have to take any prescriptions for it. I highly recommend! Plus I can schedule online, even Saturdays, no missed work!

He's does not prescribe the necessary meds. For over a year he said to excersize more and eat less sugar. This is great but he never treated my symptoms. I was doing the things he said already. All I needed was something to lower my cholesterol. A complete waste of time with Dr Gebhard. Now my life insurance premiums are higher because he was unwilling or too lazy to prescribe the right meds. Don't waste your time at his office. Go to someone that will act.

Had a great experience with him for urgent care on a holiday. No wait in the office and everyone was really nice.
