Too many too list. Do not recommend. I tried to give feedback and was told it’s “my opinion.” Tried to write an honest, matter of fact review on Facebook and the admin removed all of the ratings all together. Sensoring feedback-especially in such a powerful and trusted role is absolutely terrifying and unacceptable.

My parent went to her repeatedly for help and she continuously down played their symptoms and condition. They died a few days later. I too work in health care, and I see her actions as woefully neglectful and hold her responsible.

When going to Dr. Gaylen for my intense anxiety and depression symptoms, it felt as though took as it an opportunity to offer diet and religious advice. I could not believe what I was hearing when she suggested "going gluten free" and "stop drinking cow's milk" as treatment options. Then she directed me to a bible app where I could find some scriptures to alleviate my depression. This is unacceptable. Not only did Dr. Gaylen offer these poor attempts at treatment, she refused to give any other options or adjustments to current treatments. The last thing a patient should be discussing with their doctor is what religious texts they should ponder when having existential dread from neurological imbalances. Dr. Gaylen has proven to me and many other patients time and time again she is unfit to care for people with mental health concerns.

I visited this physician for my mental health. I was met with someone who was dismissive and detached. This physician both suggested a gluten and dairy free diet for my depression, but was unwilling to talk about adjusting my medication. Also, this check up that was supposed to be about my medication transitioned into an evaluation of my genitals. I wasn’t told about this before our appointment. It wasn’t explained why my genitals were being evaluated. I felt uncomfortable and unable to say no. This was particularly distressing because this physician knows about my history of sexual abuse (which she suggested reading related bible quotes for “therapeutic” purposes) and didn’t take the time to ensure my consent. This physician did state to me that she was also an owner. For this reason I feel this physician and practice as a whole are unfit for those seeking healthcare for mental illness.
