Dr. Karen A Zempolich

I received my cervical cancer radical hysterectomy from Dr. Zempolich 6 days ago! She and her team gave me prompt and thorough preparation before her wonderful surgery. Also, I was very encouraged by her words: “No worries, I will take care of you!” The surgery was completely painless and I didn't feel any discomfort during the whole procedure before I awoke in the quiet recovery room. Today I received her confidential phone call about the pathological results. I was told no need for other treatment and my results are all clear. I would like to tell everyone: Dr. Zempolich saved my life and she will save your life if you need her help! She is the best doctor in the world!!!

Dr. Zemolich and her entire staff were fantastic and explaining and answering any of my questions. They each went out of their way to help me get into see her. I was told by my gynecologist that she was the best M.D. in her field. After my procedures I would agree and recomend her to anyone!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming both on the phone and at the office. Doctor Zempolich made me feel comfortable as soon as we met. She educated me on the procedure I was about have. And copied all her notes for me, that were written in away I could understand. I would highly recommend.

An amazing experience. Level of care was exceptional. All office staff from front to back was friendly, professional and extremely organized. I was so scared and apprehensive but was so quickly put at ease by Dr Zempolich and her staff. Her explanations were so clear and there was no delay in getting me in, gaining access to information, etc. Her explanations and teachings were not sugar coated but not too clinical either. Just the right balance of honesty and caring. I can’t thank her enough! Her whole staff too!

Dr. Zempolich garners trust and confidence with her evident knowledge and vast experience. Meeting with her calmed my anxiety about major surgery. Her approach to explaining what is known and what is not known by using drawings with her explanations was enlightening and helped me understand my condition and what was occurring inside my body. She is efficient but also took the time to make sure my understanding was a priority. I can see why my own incredible female doctor directed me to Dr. Zempolich.

My doctor recommended Dr. Zempolich for consultation about having a hysterectomy. My Dr. was able to make an appointment with Dr. Zempolich very quickly and I was able to meet with her to discuss what needed to happen. At our first meeting I felt very comfortable with Dr. Zempolich and I appreciated how she explained things to me and answered my questions. A time for the surgery was scheduled and I felt confident that she would do her best in my behalf.

Worst doctor I saw out of 7 for cervical cancer. She made me wait TWO hours in the room to see her and then spent 16 mins with me. Billed my insurance for 45 mins too! The patient ahead of me waited 1.5 hours to be seen! She also didnt listen nor did she seem to care about anything I said. Instead she dictated to me rather than have a conversation. The absolute worst medical experience altogether that I have EVER had! I suggest to do yourself a favor and choose someone else. Anyone else.

She is personable, a good listener, & demonstrated great expertise in diagnosis, surgery, and on-going treatment plan. I am so glad I was referred to her to address by cancer needs. Although I personally have never met Dr. Zempolich my mother was in her care. As a concerned son, I was very appreciative of the manner Dr. Zempolich took care of my mother who has/had cancer and for being calm and informative for both my mother and father as she diagnosed and determined a plan of action. She put both of my parents at ease and did a superb job in the procedure of removing the cancer. Hope was restored.

Dr. Zimpolich was respectful and sensitive to my anxieties and fears. She explained my condition well using a sketch as a reference. She also explained the treatment, time frames for recovery and prognosis. I am grateful for her treatment and because of her I have my life back.

I first saw Dr. Zempolich back in 2002 after some spots were discovered in a routine yearly exam. From the first visit, she put me at ease and explained everything that she was going to do. She did two biopsies and the results came back cancer. She told me that I needed to have surgery, she drew out and explained everything that she would be doing. From my very first visit I put my complete faith and trust in her. She has been wonderful all these years, I have been cancer free 15 years now!

You know when you hear that "C" word your world stops for just a moment. No one wants to hear the word cancer. I am so thankful for Dr. Zempolich and the great care she gave me.
