Getting an appointment was quick, the office person was friendly, as was Dr Stroh. Dr ordered a CAT scan then scheduled an appointment following the scan. Would love to do that, but it seems impossible to get my father an appointment due to your rude front desk staff (April). My father has a PPO insurance plan and we have verified he does not require a referral from his PCP. However, I did call the PCP office and request the referral even after confirming with his insurance provider that NO referral is required. April advised the referral is in-house policy. It is utterly ridiculous to make the patient jump through hoops to get an appt at your office. When I called back today, I spoke with April again and she confirmed she received the referral from PCP but now waiting on demographics. No phone call to advise us she did receive the referral and today she refused to make the appointment and was rude and hung on me. Guess you are doing so well that you don't need our business. I left a message with April to have Dr. Stroh call me directly - let's see if she passes the message on. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!!!!!!! Zero stars!!!

Dr. Stroh has been my Lung Specialist for over 5 years I never have issues making appointments and getting her medical advice. The office staff is very professional and her location is inside Manatee Memorial Hospital 4th Floor.

Dr. Stroh is a very caring & intelligent professional who has treated my COPD for several years. She answers my questions and explains everything really well. Her office staff (April) is very friendly & efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Stroh ... she is the best, for sure!

I have been a patient for several years and she has always been very thorough and staff has always been polite and professional.

I have chronic and severe respiratory complications. Dr. Stroh took me on "just in case" I needed help during my Winter stay in Florida. No sooner had I arrived, I did need attention. Dr. Stroh and her Office Staff responded immediately, oversaw my health during an especially difficult period, guided me towards better health practices, and followed up regularly until I returned to my Northern home. Dr. Stroh provided immediate and dead on medical care when I needed it most. Outstanding!

My mom went there for her first visit today. Her medicare carrier has no other pulmonologist in the area on her plan. I am waiting to hear back as to what happen. I can tell you staff and making appointments went very well. At first we had a problem due to the fact that my moms insurance dropped all other dr in the field and Dr Law retired so she got massive influx of new patients all at one time. I made an appointment for a sleep study with Dr. Stroh due to her quick availability. I wish I had listened to people who advised a different doctor as I feel I would be significantly more satisfied. For starters I had to call the office numerous times to receive the results of my sleep study, receiving them almost 3 months after the study. The office claims to have called me and left a voicemail; however, I never received the only one they claimed to have left. Prior to having my sleep study I inquired twice about further fees that I may receive and on both occasions was told there would be no other fees. Three weeks after my sleep study I received a $142 bill from another doctor, whom I have never met with, who reads the results of sleep studies to Dr. Stroh due to Dr. Stroh not being board certified and the client must pay the fee. Dr. Stroh’s office was unapologetic about this when called and expressed zero remorse about being dishonest to clients. Don’t waste your time paying for a doctor who is not upfront to clients and is not board certified in this area. I asked 2x about extra fees & each time was told there would be no other fees. 3 weeks after my sleep study I got $142 bill from another Dr. who reads the results of these to Dr. Stroh due to Stroh not being board-certified & the client pays the fee. Stroh's office was unapologetic about this, expressing no remorse for being dishonest. Don't waste your time with a Dr. who is dishonest to clients & is not board certified in this area. Skip Stroh & use Dr. Law, as he's the one reading your results

Dr. Stroh is a terrible pulmonologist. In 2 years, she never tested my lung function levels. She laughed away testing me for a genetic illness that could be causing my problems, saying 'You don't have that'. Guess what? I do have that condition. And because of her I've missed 2 years of treatments for it. 2 years to feel a bit betters. In those 2 years, my lungs have deteriorated more. I can't get those years back, but hopefully I can help someone else. Stay far away from this doctor.
