It seems like she does not really care much! Long waiting time. Good luck if you need to see a specialist! She will forget about that. I dumped her after first visit.

Dr. Ruthman has the bedside manner many docs from big box hospitals lack...

Dr Ruthman is the best doctor I have seen. Her diagnoses and recommendations have always been correct and helped when other doctors did not know what to do. She always takes the time to listen to whatever issues I or my daughter have and always has a better answer than the specialists we go to. I recommend her highly.

Having lived in South Florida for nearly 30 years, I have seen many changes, especially with medical professionals, and not for the better. Going to a doctor now can be a multi-hour chore with crowded rooms and long wait times, even with an appointment. Clinics have a dozen exam rooms, with doctors running in and out, barely spending 5 minutes with a patient. I learned to rehearse exactly what I would say to a doctor, knowing my 120 second window was expiring. I visited Dr. Ruthman's office 5 years ago for a pre-op physical. I was so impressed that I never forgot her. I left her office thinking how she reminded me of how doctors used to be: caring and not rushed. I thought at the time how I would love to have her as my primary care physician if I did not live 30 miles away. Since visiting a doctor became such an arduous task, I began neglecting myself with checkup and physicals, relying only on urgent care for the most pressing of needs. I never really addressed underlying problems. Having multiple jobs did not afford the opportunity to allot a large segment of time to my health. Recently, my job and logistical situation changed and I decided to prioritize my health. I thought again of Dr, Ruthman, hoping she was still in practice. To my utter surprise, she is now a member of my health plan. I called quite late on Friday afternoon and got an appointment today (Monday), right before Thanksgiving. I explained my current concern to her kind and wonderful office manager, Margaret, who called me from her HOME PHONE!! I was fearful that I would not be able to get work coverage to make the appointment, so Margaret texted me from HER number so I could let her know. Everything worked out, so I confirmed on SUNDAY and she REPLIED. (I am not making this up.) When I arrived today at my scheduled time, I went straight to Margaret's office to handle the paperwork. I then went straight in to see Dr. Ruthman. She was patient, caring and spent an obscene amount of time with me, listening to every detail of my 10 years of medical self-neglect. She examined me and asked a hundred questions, writing notes on a pad. Then, while furiously entering the copious amounts of information into her laptop, she wrote orders for long-overdue tests, sent email recommendations to me regarding specialists, gave suggestions about supplements, and sent a prescription to my pharmacy. At any other office, all of this would have taken, at least, 5 visits. As I was leaving, I asked if she realized what an unusual physician she was. She stated that she liked to keep things "old-school." Bravo. I feel incredibly fortunate. Thank you, Dr. Ruthman and Margaret! Horrible doctor. No humanity no customer care. Worst doctor ever seen. Rather die than yo see this horrible human being

I would not recommend this Dr to anyone. They have no idea about insurance coverage and are incompetent. I use to recommend them to others but NEVER again.

I love Dr. Ruthman and Margaret! They are so nice and helpful. I probably bug them to death will all of my phone calls and they are still so great with me!

So thankful someone recommend Dr. Ruthman to me. Her office is comfortable and I've always been seen on time. If I'm sick and need to get in the same day it is never a problem. She does what many doctors dont...she LISTENS!!!
