Karen Plati quite possibly just provided the best clinical experience I've ever had, with any physician, ever. She is genuinely friendly, warm, and very professional. She obviously has a passion for her discipline. From beginning to end, she engaged our questions and concerns respectfully and thoroughly, going to great lengths to explain her perspective and educate us. She values patient comfort and understanding and is truly a credit to the profession. Like many people, I've experienced the opposite end of the spectrum: physicians who deliberately dismiss their patients, gaslight their symptoms, and communicate very poorly. Karen is literally the antithesis of this. If you are uncomfortable and you are searching for answers, go to Karen. You will be taken care of. Period. She is very kind and informative. She really cares about her patients and their families. She truly listens and makes it clear that you matter and aren't just another number.

Just left Dr. Francolla-Plati's office and felt compelled to write a review. My daughter has been having some digestive issues and we were given a referral. This was our second visit with her and I could not be more impressed with her. She is a wonderful physician; she does an excellent job of explaining health issues and treatment options. She is very down to earth, sympathetic and has such a warm personality. She is a wonderful, wonderful practitioner, but is also so kind and compassionate.

I have seen Dr. Palti for 2 of my kids and she is one of the best Doctors I have ever encountered. She has amazing bed side manner and is extremely thorough. She explains everything so you understand, and makes sure not only the child is comfortable but also the parents and truly wants them to understand everything that is going on. Probably the thing I love most about her is that she LISTENS to you as a parent and does not make you feel like you are being dramatic or over the top.

We LOVE Dr Francolla-Plati! She’s educated, articulate, and highly skilled and experienced. Plus, you can tell she really cares about her patients. Our son sees her for ongoing g tube care and nutrition planning. She’s is just the absolute best. Des Moines is so lucky to have her!!!
