Dr. Hutchinson is very caring and spends time truly listening to her patients. She has been a great addition to the practice.

She took over the practice of my old Endo who I had been seeing for close to 30 years when he retired in 2019. She's a great endo. Really up to date on technology and diabetes and will spend time with her patients and answer all my questions. Friendly and great bedside manner unlike her predecessor. I would give her five stars but the office staff two at most. She has me see her CNE every other visit (and she's great as well) and one time the appointment with here was cancelled with just two hours noticed with a robocall telling me to call back to reschedule and it took three phone calls and a month before someone called me back to reschedule. I had another instance where I had to reschedule and again it took a couple phone calls to get someone to reschedule. You go into a voicemail for a call back for appoointments now and her app doesn't allow you to schedule online. Also getting a preauth from her office is a real pain and can take over a month.

Doesnt spend a lot of time with you, take time to listen to you or explain anything. I'm so glad I found a new doctor who is caring and helpful.

She won't renew your insulin prescription unless you go in to see her every 3 months.

I see this doctor yearly since 2014. In years past, they have sent lab orders (required before the appointment) a month in advance as well as detailed summary of location and parking. I received none of these materials this year and actually had to request my own lab order. I travel 2 hours to this appointment that should last 20 minutes. I was late in arriving, due to extreme confusion, and my appointment was passed for a new patient (an hour appointment). I felt very unprepared to be seen.
