Karen is awesome! She has helped me so much that I refer all my friends to her. I think she is the best therapist in the capital distrist.

Karen is knowledgeable, patient and professional. She makes herself available to her clients- throughout my time working with her I felt very much supported. She has a variety of strategies she can offer to best support clients' needs and helped me find the most approrpiate approach to dealing with issues I brought to our sessions. I feel very fortunate to have worked with Karen!

Karen is a very compassionate and competent counselor. She is reassuring and nonjudgmental , which is key when fragile feelings are involved, yet she is not hesitant to gently guide you toward the changes you may need to make to feel better. Karen used a variety of approaches in counseling, dependent on the problem we were dealing with, and was always open to and supportive of any ideas I wanted to try or input I had. She is extremely client focused, flexible, and available.Helped me immensely.

She is very old school and does not possess the ability to treat complex situations. She does not have the ability to treat patients as often as they need and will leave you high and dry once things get tough

Karen has helped me work through intense feelings and memories in a safe and therapeutic way. Because of our work together, she knows when it is safe to deal with these feelings or memories and when it is not. I have appreciated the use of diverse strategies and approaches when addressing issues. Karen is a dedicated and caring therapist.
