Dr. Karen Marie Fanucci

I've been a patient for years. Dr. Fanucci an absolutely excellent PCP. She's one of the rare doctors who listens when you speak and puts value on the information you give her over the information on your chart. I feel a mutual trust with Dr. Fanucci that makes me feel that I will get a good and accurate diagnosis and makes me feel assured that my issues will be addressed when I visit. This is exactly how it should feel when you see your PCP. I cannot recommend her enough. My experiences dealing with her staff have been excellent. It feels like you are calling a classic family doctors office with real people who pick up the phone and want to do their best to help you, rather than treat you like a product. Very respectful of my time.

Very rude office staff, unhelpful.

I loved having Dr. Fanucci as my primary. She never dismissed my concerns and took the time to listen and research my conditions on her own time. Had I not moved 3 hours away, she would still be my primary. I miss her.

Do not go to this supposed Compassionate Care office. Dr Fannuci and staff are more than a joke. They don't do labs or any diagnostic testing, my two visits consisted of sitting down and just talking. They do not follow up after you have been in the hospital. Staff is about as compassionate and knowledgeable as a rock. Stay away unless you don't mind incompetence and complacency. Do not go to this supposed Compassionate Care office. Dr. Fanucci is an extremely compassionate, kind and caring physician (the name of her practice is definitely confirmed!). I have known her for over 20 years. She was the FIRST doctor to diagnose my thyroid nodules. (I have since been working with an Endocrinologist, and) I have trusted Dr. Fanucci to follow my care with this specialist, as well as my GYN and every other practitioner I have ever visited... Dr Fennuci is my best doctor. I am 50. I had many doctors and doctor visits. She is the most caring and taking her time doctor I ever had. She has the best small home-like doctor's office. You do not even feel like your ar the doctor's office. The building looks like a home. The wait area looks like a living room. Only exam rooms when you need them remind you that you are at the doctor's office. Her staff is the best. Because of her insistence, I ended up taking two tests in the last few years, in one I was diagnosed early for a bacterial infection. I gave a blood sample because of her insistence, I was not going to do it. And recently I agreed to give another blood sample to screen for a certain disease. No doctor could convince me to do that but Dr. Fennuci. Recently my wife started seeing her too. God Bless her and her staff.

My family doctor of fifteen years retired and the new doctor that took his place didn't come close to possessing his medical knowledge and ability to explain the what's and why's, and especially take the time to listen, so I started a search for a new primary care doctor for my family. I decided to see Dr. Fanucci and I am thrilled to say that she is as thorough, knowledgeable and willing to listen as my last primary care doctor. She answered all my questions before I asked them. Dr. Fanucci is an excellent physician. I have seen her for four years now and she has been exemplary in her diagnostic ability and most of all her caring. She listens to everything you say taking it all in before making a preliminary diagnosis. She is current in her medical knowledge but applies it in an old school way. She is a true family physician not simply a medical copay factory. If you want knowledgeable, caring and compassionate care she is it. I will not go to anyone else. I trust her. You will too. My elderly mother is a patient of Dr. Fanucci. I can;t say enough good things about our experience with her and her staff. Now that my mother is housebound, her office sends out a nurse, Lewis Chilumana for house calls and he is wonderful. He was sensitive and compassionate and quickly solved issues we were having with her care, eliminating and reducing several medications and supplements she was on that were making her drowsy and uncomfortable. She is now alert, talkative and we are able to get her out of bed without fainting episodes. Her quality of life is much improved. Can't thank the Dr and Mr. Chilumana enough.

Smart, thoughtful, questioning, and compassionate. Her thoughtful way of approaching medicine and overall health is refreshing.

I had great hopes after my first visit--she spent a lot of time with me, I felt we were on the same page in terms of health care. But my last two medical issues shared same response: rather than seeing me, she/her office bounced me to someone else. Didn't address the problem, and in the recent case, referred me to a specialist without even evaluating what the problem was. Maybe it's her office staff that needs to change, but I'm actively searching for a new primary care doctor.

I feel very comfortable with Dr. Fanucci. She listens to me and knows the needs of the elderly like me, Her advice has always been helpful and I trust. her. She cares.
