Mr. Kandaswamy Jayaraj

After reading reviews on this website about the doctor , I was concerned about my upcoming appointment with him . I always try to treat others the way that I would like to be treated , and I have found in all of my 64 years that most , but not all , people feel the same as I do . All of the staff at the doctors office were friendly and professional to me during my visit . The doctor himself was professional and courteous to me. He explained to me exactly how he was going to treat my thyroid condition . The Man upstairs created ALL OF US in his image, and I think we should all be cognizant of that when we are interacting with others . At the end of my visit with the doctor , he was smiling and kind of joking as we shook hands at the end of my visit . I don't know how much better this ol country boy can explain it to you, until the doctor or anyone else gives me a reason not to like them , I will continue to see this doctor and his staff . Be nice to others , your life will be a whole lot better ????

I am very worried about going after reading all the comments. But I was really happy the way the appt turned out. He explained everything was funny. He answered all my questions. The staff was very nice.

I used Jraug when I was pregnant. I don't care how many articles he has written, he ab And I jemust couldn't get get along. I think it was just a personality clash because he is a very very good doctor.

Best doctor in Beaumont very thorough. Short wait time for office visit and blood test. I would recommend him to anyone!

Made me feel very uncomfortable used expletives during my interaction. Limited options in the area unfortunately

He has poor bedside manners. Rude. Talks down to you. Would not recommend..

Horrible experience with this doctor. Gave me the wrong insulin and called me a liar when in actuality he was wrong. Not many endocrinologist to choose from in the area so I guess I have to drive to Houston.

I even made sure to call the office to make sure it was him that responded. As someone who has been dealing with the same issues for 20+ years, I can guarantee I understand. I went for a second opinion in Houston, and will no longer go there. I saw him ONE time the whole time I was a patient. I was constantly pushed to the NP's who did nothing but push a Thyroid biopsy that was never necessary. He has no bedside manner and clearly can't seem to communicate the correct way to his patients. I like to give credit where it’s due, the staff here are so friendly. The wait was not terribly long, the facility is clean, NP Jennifer and Dr.J were very thorough and explained everything, ultra sound tech Brittany was so sweet! Thank you guys for top notch professional service

I was referred to Dr Jayaraj by my PCP for thyroid nodules. He got me in quickly and treated my husband and I like family. He said he would schedule the 2 tests I required within a week and I would have results soon. He did as promised. He answered all my questions and took his time with me. I also saw his 2 nurse practitioners and was impressed with them as well. I would recommend him to my family and friends. Very pleased with his care. I went to Dr. Jaaraj for the first time yesterday, and I was highly impressed. His staff was very friendly and helpful, and I was seen within minutes of getting there. I was shown a video explaining the details involving the issue which had prompted the visit and given the opportunity to ask any questions I had. The doctor was very personable and took the time to explain all areas concerning my thyroid. He did not rush the visit, but instead made me feel like I was the most important thing to him while I was there. I was very impressed with his professionalism and his treatment of myself and my husband who had accompanied me. He immediately scheduled the two tests I needed and assured me I would have the results quite quickly. I have complete confidence in this doctor's ability to handle my thyroid issue. Love Dr. J! He always listens to my concerns and I never feel rushed away.

I've seen Dr. Jayaraj a few times but mainly saw the NP. I'm new to taking insulin and stopped by after work with a quick question. I asked to verify my insulin instructions with the nurse but the receptionist asked if I could wait a minute and talk to the doctor. When he came in to me he was immediately talking down to me. He said "there was no way" he gave me clear insulin, and when I got home to check he DID in fact give me 2 samples of a clear insulin. He humiliated me to the point of tears

I think he and his staff are great. Very patient orientated. always taking time to answer any questions or concerns that you may have about your treatment.What more could ask for.

Very friendly & considerate of the patient. The best Dr. I have seen to treat diabetes. I have been diabetic for 27 yrs.

I have been going to Dr Jayaraj for over 10 years. He and nurse Jennifer and wonderful to deal with and take the time to discuss when needed. My blood sugars have been under control and when my A1C starts to go up, he allows me to make changes or intervenes if my initiatives do not bring it under control. I have always made late afternoon appointments and they do consistently run late but they are worth the wait. Highly recommend.

Dr J always takes time to listen and seems to take N active interest in my health. His office is ways helpful with prescription refills. I would recommend him to any diabetic.

He spent 20 minutes trying not to tell me something and when he finally did and I questioned him he told me he was wasting his time talking to me when he had REAL patients to see. He hustled me out of the office sent for blood work and sent me on my way. I got the blood work back and his office cancelled my follow up appointment. Now I have to call his office because the blood work record in the Health Portal is inaccessible to me even though I had gotten into the site before.

I've had issues with them calling in prescriptions which is a big deal since it's something like DIABETES and I needed insulin. This happened more than once. Also, I was never seen on my appointment time and they wouldn't even check to see if anyone had signed in when the office was empty and until almost 15 minutes PASSED my appointment time. Although, the doctor himself is very nice and personable, I would not recommend his office based on my own experiences with th staff. Very disappointed.

Please disregard any negative feedback about this doctor, I ALMOST missed out on one of the BEST doctors by reading negative post here. I'm so glad I followed my "gut", Love this doctor, love the staff, and I am truly blessed to be his patient... Keep up the good work Dr.J!

He is the best Dr, he really listens to me and even fusses when needed. He is helping me stay in control. I love him

Dr Jayaraj or his nurse practitioner have treated me for about 6 years. EVERY time I have had an appointment, they are very prompt. Their system for getting you in and through your appointment is very efficient. I have always been treated with a high level of efficiency and competence whether I see the DR or the nurse practitioner. Findings have always been explained clearly and fully. I continue to recommend this practice to anyone in need of a great endocrinologist. Carolyn B.

Explains your lab work, what you can do to improve your numbers. Listens to you and takes time to determine a proper plan of care. Sometime difficult to get a person on phone. No answering service or recording to leave message. Stated to leave answer on patient portal! I have no portal to my knowledge.

I will have to say that this is by far the best endocrinologist in Beaumont. Absolutely love him.

Extremely kind and professional physician. He and his staff made me feel confortable and welcomed even though he has a busy office. Our conversation allowed me to feel secure in his suggestions for treatment. I'm sure I will continue to see him.

He did not listen to me. He was concerned only with what the blood work showed, not what I had to say. He would not listen to my concerns. He dismissed my symptoms and told me to do more leg lifts to lose the extra weight. He also said that my hair falling out was just another sign of getting older. Then 8 months after my final appointment, I received a bill (when was already paid in full). I called the office to ask about it. The person I spoke to was VERY RUDE.
