Love Dr Kumar but the response time of returning a call back is horrible. Good doctor, horrible staff = reflects on your score as a negative.
I was needing to have a nerve conduction done. My primary care doctor sent a referral to this doctor. I looked up the reviews and was very hesitant. My mom told me my grandma saw this doctor and that eased me a little. The lady who called one day was nice to schedule it. I called the next due to going to the emergency room and needing to move my appointment to sooner. The lady answered with “answering service” but it cut out a lot. I figured it was an automated message so I didn’t speak as I was confused. She then said “hello I said answering service” with an attitude. And a very blunt, rude one. As if she was annoyed. I told her “I’m sorry I didn’t hear the first time it was cutting out”. She then said “okay well I said answering service so what can I do for you now” rude. I said “I was calling in regard to getting my appointment reschedule for sooner if available.” She cut me off and then said “ okay we’ll leave a message because they aren’t here yet. Name and number.” I told her “you’re rude” and hung up. I will not be going here. If any place has rude workers, they are bound to be rude to you. I do not feel any confidence in going to this place. And I will not be wanting to give the doctor a chance, as his employee has already made it very clear that I will be treated like garbage. This world needs to do better.
Awesome Dr., Listened about concerns, explained everything to me. Took his time so that I would understand. Very nice, great sense of humor. Made me feel comfortable. The girls in the office were awesome! I cannot say enough good things about Dr Senthilkumar. I highly recommend him.
The staff is horrible, here to include the answering service. They are in the office but phones are still being directed to answering service. Almost impossible to get in touch with staff. Had to beg for a video appointment. Mom is not mobile!!! You think they would encourage it. The automatic answer is no! Can we please ask??! Video appointment for 10:15am. Its 12:15pm still waiting. Just be upfront and tell it like it is, I shouldn’t have to wait 2 hours without an update. As a caretaker for my mom I still have a full time job! Come on people it’s shouldn’t be this hard. This doctor is disrespectful and condescending. His manner is among the worst I have encountered! His diagnosis of me was completely errant. I would suggest Joseph Oommen as an alternative. He also has higher overall reviews also!
Piss poor service. I am injured and I have excellent health care coverage but he refused to see me due to a law suit that doesn’t exist. The young lady that called me was not knowledgeable with regards to her role at the facility. It is probably a blessing I am not going there

They were in the office peeking out of the window as I knocked on the door. They haven't even been to work the first 3 days of the week because of the weather. My Father had an appointment recently. The check in was easy. The wait in the actual room was long. Once the Dr was in the room, his bedside was acceptable and medication was prescribed. He had a systemic reaction to one or both the medications. Of course I had him stop taking the medications. (I am a Paramedic and Nurse) Called the office to advise Dr. Kumar of this and there was no call back. Three days later, I called on Friday and the staff is just horrible. Excuses as to why there was no call back. I did kindly advise her that communication is key and that there was not communication of their supposed “callback rules”. Which in my opinion an allergic reaction to a prescribed medication goes to top of the list. YOUR STAFF WILL MAKE OR BREAK YOU! We are moving my Dads care to a different Neurologist! PERIOD!!!! CALLED TO HAVE MEDICATION WITH 2 REFILLS REMAINING CHANGED TO WALGREENS FROM SAMS PHARMACY BECAUSE OF MY INSURANCE AND WAS TOLE I HAD TOO DO IT MY SELF WHICH I ALREADY KNOW I CAN'T DO, THAT'T WHY I WAS CALLING IN THE FIRST PLACE. I HATE BEING LIED YO.
Excellent care, knowledgeable and compassionate. Explained every step of testing and diagnosis with thorough explanation of the disease process. I have been an emergency nurse/director for 31 years and I was highly impressed and very satisfied with the care provided.
I made an appointment with Dr. Kumar for 8/15/2019 for 10:15am, on 7/25. I called and confirmed this appointment with them. When I get there, they say, that's he's being worked in, and moved my appointment back to 10:35am. The receptionist just kept saying he was a "work in", although I made an appointment.
This doctor only cares about getting into and out of the exam room as quickly as possible. He's not interested getting to the root cause of a problem, only wants to address the symptoms with medication. I tried talking to him on multiple occasions about why did I all of a sudden start having seizures. I felt here must be a reason for it. He stated that I had fibromyalgia and I didn't know what caused that and this was just the same. I asked him specifically could any of the medications I'm taking be causing this to happen and he said absolutely not. He also said the reason I was continuing to have seizures because I was not properly taking my medication. An accusation which I denied. The medication he gave me starting me off was Keppra and it did not do anything for my seizures. After the first attempt he doubled my Keppra and we try it again. The next time I went in I was still having seizures he again indicated that it was because I was not properly taking my medication. Again I denied this. At this time he told me to keep taking the double dose of Keppra and he added Trileptai to my medications. I was uncomfortable just adding more drugs to my life. My wife is an RN and she and I began talking about what changed in my life when I started having these seizures. We determined that I started taking a new medication at that time and it was Alfuzosin. We looked up the side effects of this drug and found that one of the side effects was seizures. Not being happy with the responsiveness of this doctor to my questions we thought it was worth the risk and inconvenience to quit taking the Alfuzosin and the seizure medications. Very quickly and then over months we were able to determine that my seizures were gone. I have not returned to this doctor. This doctor only cares about getting into and out of the exam room as quickly as possible. I came to this specialist with my mom for testing and was very disappointed. This office had us waiting for over an hour prior to the initial test, after specifically stating that the test will take 45-an hour! The wait was actually longer than the testing. Dr. Senthilkumar had us waiting for over an hour for testing. He came into the room with quite an attitude as well as a stigma on minorities. Please understand that this is my mother and I truly love and care about her! He has no bedside manner and was not understanding of the love I have for my mother. I also have a very clear understanding of the medical field which he also did not know. I feel like he felt the black race was ignorant and filled with a stereotype. How can you treat humans when you have a definitive view on certain races? I would NOT recommend this facility to any minorities! Pleasantries were provided but only by a minute few. Please find another physician in your network. As minorities, we deserve better! We should never accept less! We should fight against minority health care prejudice by ANY MEANS!!! #alllivesmatter Please don’t put a stigma on the minority because we are the majority!!! I waited for 1 1/2 hour and still did not see the doctor, upon asking what the hold up was the answer was we are waiting on a room, you are next, 30 minutes later still waiting. Other people are called back they had plenty of rooms for them but not for me. After waiting on a room for me (other people still being called back to see the Dr.) I tell them I have to leave and I want my money back, fat chance I was charged $25.00 for leaving, I was only reimbursed $45 of my copay. I would not give the staff even 1 star but you are required to give a star. I never saw the Dr. who knows he may have been great. I would not recommend any one to have to deal with the staff. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They did give me the other $25.00 that I was charged for leaving. But it was only after I left this rating. My mother had an appointment on yesterday. The procedure that she was to have was supposed to take 45min to and hour. After a very long wait, this Dr. had the nerve to be rude. She was in a lot of pain and he was neither empathetic, nor sympathetic. He was very demeaning to my sister as well as my mother. So, you may not have the best bedside manner, however that does not give you the right to speak down upon people. Unfortunately, we live in a world where implicit biases are very real. I work in the medical field. Thank Goodness thay I work closely with policy makers and key stakeholders that are addressing these biases so that everyone is held accountable, although this will take time. His behavior was unacceptable and I will be sending out a few emails to ensure everyone knows exactly how truely insulted we were! I do NOT recommend seeing this doctor if you have migraines. Doctor is nice and staff is friendly however, I’ve seen him for over a year for severe migraines (usually 2-4 migraines a week) and have had little to no change. Tried several different medications and nothings helped. I had mentioned at every appointment two things, the medication to take at onset of migraine made me feel very disoriented and dizzy/nauseous with severe pain to my jaw and he wouldn’t recommend anything other than to continue taking it or halving the dose. Also, I’ve requested several times to get scans done to get the response of “let’s try this medication first” at every visit. After seeing him for one year and calling to let them know once again the medication at onset of migraine is not working, they called back and said he recommended I tried taking ibuprofen as if it wasn’t something I’ve already tried. Wait times are typically 45 minutes to 2 hours, which is typical for a doctors office however he is only in the room for maybe 7-10 minutes. Although the wait was a bit long it was worth it. Dr Kumar is kind and empathetic. I did not feel rushed when we were talking. He is very knowledgeable. I trust him.
Dr. Senthilkumar changed my life when I started seeing him. He changed my medication for a seizure disorder and since then I have been seizure free. He alway takes as much time as needed during my appointments. I highly recommend him.
This doctor has no curiosity or interest in getting to root causes he just wants to throw pills at the problem
Dr. Kandasami Senthilkumar has always been very knowledgeable,thorough, caring and personable. He has a sense of humor which helps lighten the atmosphere. He has always spent adequate time with me as a patient. He explains anything necessary. At this time, I would highly recommend Dr. Senthilkumar. The office staff is always friendly and have promptly tended to anything I may have called in for. The office is kept very clean.

Very nice and respectful gentleman. But I have neuropathy and sever cramps in both legs and feet. When I saw him he recommended B-12 shots and pickle juice. I did both with no relief. I also paid my office visit and deductable up front. The money wasn't applied to my deductible but applied to my account so I had to pay a second portion of the deductible to my family doctor. He has been my doctor for many years. He is the best!!! He always helps me and the nicest doctor you'll ever see.
Dr. Kandasami is one of the best Dr's I've been to in a long time . He listens to you. Takes time to examines you and ask questions . Most the times it is questions I forgot to ask. He has a great sence of humor. As well as being a great Dr. He is a very nice person , that's easy to get along with .

Today as I call to schedule appointment I was told that they do not accept my insurance, but I never received a letter in the mail nor phone call. I ask to speak with a manager she tells me I’m no longer a patient because I missed my last appointment. So with that being said I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and I’m out of refills, but thankfully the National MS Society sent me a list of doctors that accepted my insurance! This Dr has recently become under direct violation of ADA Law and has been served papers. Also, the week after TS Harvey was gone, no one cared enough to call and let his patients know that the office was still closed. We had gotten multiple confirmation calls from the automated call system so we showed up to locked doors. Two days later, still no one has cared enough to call his patients. We will never go back. My experience with this Dr has not been good at all. He is very impersonal and all he seems to care about is lining his pockets. He does not seem to care about his patients (me being one of them) I have suffered over 30 years with my TBI and today (due to an insurance up date) I got dropped as a patient they did not have the consideration to give me a call before I spent nearly 3 hours going to see him waiting to see him and the drive home. He does not listen and just sits there.
My husband had an appointment this morning for an EEG. It was the first appointment of the day and when we arrived, the doors were locked and there were other patients waiting to get in. Once we got in, he checked in and then we waited because of his insurance cards. Finally he was called back and told that he would no longer be seen due to his insurance( which is Medicare and Medicaid) because he is disabled. Needless to say, we were shocked by the treatment and would not recommend this doctor.

On day of appointment the office staff called and told me that he was no longer in my network of insurance--. My experience with Sentilkumar was less than adequate. I believed pride stepped in over caring for the patient. He would not refer out to another doctor although he did not know what was causing the ailment. After finally, getting to Houston, my husband was diagnosed with multiple spinal cord leaks and other issues which could have had serious repercussions if left untreated.
